Everything is great 4 stars because they don't deliver one of the best wonton soups on the island - always fresh food

Long Island has a ton of Chinese restaurants and everyone has strong opinions on their favorite. We've been ordering Chung Hing takeout for decades, since when they were in the now-Lidl shopping center that used to be Best Market. We've tried a few others and they hardly come close, in my opinion. I've never had a bad meal there, always a good experience, and amazing portion sizes! They tend to get crowded on weekends at dinner, but there's never more than a 15 minute wait or so. I don't even usually bother calling ahead. I don't have any photos on hand, but some of my favorite orders are chicken chow mein, roast pork with vegetables, general tsos, or beef and broccoli. Always an egg roll and egg drop soup. We rarely get Chinese take out from anywhere else on Long Island. As far as the decor - it's a counter to order with a few chairs to wait. That's more than enough. I do wish it was in a strip mall with other actual stores (not a dance studio and professional hair products store) just for something to do. But the prices, service and quality of food put them top on my list. read more

Whoever worked 1/30/2026, you lost a customer today by not simply honoring your sign for free drink based on total purchase. I spent well over the $35 to get 2 free drinks and was then told I could not get it because i bought a lunch item. There is nothing on the sign that says any conditions other than over $35. I would rather not patronize a place that cannot even uphold a very simple thing. The guy was a total POS attitude, a very punchable attitude. Best general tso chicken, giant portions. Chicken is not heavy on the breading (if any at all) chunky white meat, no fatty rib meat.

We've ordered from here 2X since discovering this place a few weeks ago. This spot reminds me of the place we used to go when I was growing up in Brooklyn. The soup is delicious (they are one of the few places that puts greens in the wonton soup). The shrimp and lobster sauce was yummy, the egg rolls weren't too greasy and the ribs were so tender. The best, most consistent, Chinese take out on the Island; great portions for great prices! Everything I have tried is amazing, the Hot & Sour Soup, General Tso's Chicken, Spicy Shredded Beef, and Steak with Peppers and Onions are at the top of my list, but the Lo Mein and Chicken with Black Bean Sauce are great too!
