My haircutter recommended the Singapore Chow Mei Fun. The Chow Mei Fun to meat ratio was not their. every bite meat shrimp or pork was just missing. It was good but put some meat and shrimp $15. I ordered their large spare ribs they were the bomb Jucy Lucy omg sooo good moist and meaty in every bite.i had 4 as as I got them. I Mr Mike Ed them for a minute a they were tough. Food was ok. Ordered chicken wings, egg roll, pork fried rice and bourbon chicken. I made the mistake thinking the bourbon chicken would taste similar to the chicken at the mall but wasn't even close. It's made with dark meat and has a hint of sweetness to it. It wasn't bad but I didn't enjoy it very much. Pork fried rice was flavorless. Chicken wings and egg roll were good. Overall, It's decent Chinese food nothing spectacular. read more

They are like the Post office, will deliver within their time frame,rain,sleet or snow ! You have to have good takeout food if you're going to last 30yrs. I've had the pleasure of knowing &watching their immediate family grow ! They're very diligent & kind,decent people ! My parents who are now deceased enjoyed this takeout as well ! I've had to order a couple of times, at other takeouts when this business, was closed for repairs from a car running into their restaurant . Both restaurants I tried,takeout were terrible. I've been all-over the world and had Chinese food in different countries, still didn't meet their standard ! I have also ordered for work groups & friends & of course referred . Enjoy ! I ordered from here for 4 of us this past Sunday, August 13, 2023. We have been ordering Chinese Food from this location for as long as I can remember (over 15 years) This last time will be the last time I order from here ever. The food was not good at all. Everything that they used to make that was delicious, was absolutely awful. Their Hot & Sour Soup is NOTHING like it used to be. It wasn't good at all (it used to be the best) Their General Tao's Shrimp was terrible. Again, this was my favorite dish from any Chinese Food Restaurant on Long Island and now it is uneatable. A stones throw away from home! A tiny joint catering specifically to the on-the-go and eat-at-home crowd fiending for some american food. They do have a couple of chairs available if you're the type of person to dine-in, but you're better off on elevating your eat-at-home experience by eating on the fancy dishes at home or laying on the couch and dropping some yum-yums like the royalty you are. Got stuck out in Huntington and had to spend the night in a hotel...as I'm walking in to check in for my reservation I smell an incredible smell that made my mouth instantly begin to water. There's Jacky's almost right across the street. I was famished, as was my boyfriend, so we ordered dinner. Literally THE BEST CHINESE I've had in forever!!! I always order my general tso's chicken extra crispy and extra spicy. Not only was it cooked to perfection and had amazing flavor, the sauce was out of this world. I haven't had sticky, thick, gooey, tso's sauce like that in about 10 years. The rice was fluffy, tasty, and fresh. The dim sum was delicious. Perfect meat, spice, and wonton ratio...flavor was on point. Egg roll was not greasy at all, and the dumpling sauce (I tried it w the dim sum) and hot oil were great. My boyfriend ate the cold noodle and said it was excellent. This place is definitely worth a 5 star review. The staff were also very pleasant to deal with. What happened Jacky!?? The good was nice in the beginning, slowly got worse. We called 2 times ordering shrimp chow mein, first time it's was soo dry!! Second time we called we asked for sauce and when we received our order it was super dry and disgusting. The wonton soup was old and unedible. The meat inside tasted weird. We gave the food to the dogs!! We called them back and they didn't even offer us a refund or new food, unbelievable. Pretty good Chinese food. We always take out as it is probably the smallest Chinese restaurant we have ever seen. Most Melville residents understand that we are in a bit of a Chinese food 'dead zone'. Most of the Chinese restaurants around here are sub-par, their delivery is slow, the quality of their meat is inconsistent and sometimes disgusting, etc. However, Jacky's Kitchen is incredibly consistent and the food exceeds my expectations. I have never been disappointed with the quality of their food. I am surprised so many have had bad experiences. Regardless I would definitely give it a shot. read more

I don't want to say that this is the absolute best takeaway I've ever gotten because I don't want to build this place up so much that you're disappointed. But I do want to say that it's incredibly solid food at great prices. Everything gets crisped up nicely (and doesn't get disgustingly steamed in the trays on the admittedly short trip to the foreign intelligence operatives) and was clean and fresh. We didn't get any gross, bottom of the barrel meat or vegetables. It may have been because we had guns but, really, I think they're good all the time. Solid Chinese take out. Recently moved to Huntington and needed a go to Chinese restaurant to satisfy the cravings. Luckily I found Jacky kitchen and I couldn't be more pleased. It's your basic run of the mill Chinese take out place, but the food is always great and the people who deliver and take your order are always friendly. It's conveniently located right on Jericho turnpike just up the street from the Huntington Target. Don't drive too fast or you'll miss it. It's in a stand alone building across from 7/11. For an area so populated by various Chinese food restaurants, I was shocked to find this was one of the only ones open past 10 P.M. For $6.79 I received a vegetable combo that came with white rice, and I got a spring roll. The inside of the store is built for take-out, a few seats by the door for those waiting. Jacky Kitchen is located across from 7-11 on Jericho Turnpike, and stands out as a small stand-alone building with parking in back. The food was comparable to many other take-out Chinese food in the area, though I don't think I would order the spring roll again. The rice and vegetables were satisfactory, the combo came with more vegetables than would fit a pint, with a generous portion of broccoli mixed with the onions and carrots. read more

Just moved to the neighborhood and we're always looking for a good take out place. Their menu is pretty standard and the space is small, but they are mighty! I walked in to place my order and most folks waiting had called ahead and were there to pick up. This made me nervous for a long wait, but I ordered anyway. I was in and out in 10 minutes! We ordered egg drop soup and pineapple fried rice and chicken lo mein. What I like is that they have a table set up with all of the sauces that you can pick and choose how much of each you'd like. The food was pretty standard and the cost was average for the items we got (I think in total it was around $18). They offer free delivery and I live nearby so I am definitely tempted to order and see how that process is. read more

I just picked up food at Jackie Kitchen. I parked on the side next to the red fire hydrant. As I was leaving my car I saw a man walk out the back of the restaurant and blow a Snot Rocket (placing finger on one nostril and blowing snot out of his nose). When I walked into the restaurant the same guy walked back in from outside and proceeded to handle raw chicken or pork with NO GLOVES and didn't WASH HIS HANDS. I am not joking and I never write reviews. I am contacting the Board of Health on Monday. Not sure what they will do but that's disgusting. read more
