Bf and I were craving thai food so we came here! Bf ordered the Kao Soi with brisket, and I had the drunken noodles with beef. Our ratings: 7/10 drunken noodles, 8/10 Kao Soi. The drunken noodles were great, but the veggies could have been more fragrant and and the meat could have been more tender. The Kao Soi tasted delicious. But it gets heavy on the tongue. I loved the veggies here bc they were fragrant and fresh. But I would have liked the brisket to be more tender. We would love to come again to try other food! The service was friendly and quick. The inside is cute and cozy, but there is outdoor seating as well. It is located in downtown brea, so you will be lucky to find street parking, but better to park in the structure
Great Thai place in Brea. Food was fresh and tasty. I wish they would schedule the dishes to come out together but we ordered the Rib-eye and pad Thai. My daughter was craving meat so it came out last. She didn't care for the noodles but I thought they were great. Portions are good and I had plenty for lunch the next day.
Went here for lunch for the weekend and tbh it was a big disappointment. Saw some really good review so decided to give this place a try. Place has no AC to start off, it's an open concept where doors and windows are opened, but since the weekend wasn't too hot it was alright. Foods were really alright. We order the lemon shrimp, and the first bite was good but after that it just went downhill. It wasn't sour enough, not enough sauce on it. It's 2/10 for me. Yellow curry was pretty good, it is on a sweeter side which I don't mind 9/10 Pad Thai: nothing really special. The portion was surprising big which I don't mind. 7/10 Waiter: was nice and very quick 10/10 The reason for a low star is that me and my bf both got food poisoning from the place the day after.
Located in downtown Brea, this place has a small and cozy interior, so there isn't a lot of seating inside. However, they also have patio seating along the street, which adds more space and gives the restaurant a nice casual vibe. The food was delicious. We ordered the Pad See Ew, fried rice, and popcorn chicken, and everything tasted great. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are just right. The service was genuinely friendly, and I'll definitely be coming back again.

Called in for Pho because family got sick while on vacation. I was craving Pad Thai and something sweet and this place did the trick. Mango sticky rice 10/10 Tofu Pad Thai 10/10 Pho Brisket 10/10 Pho Tai 10/10 Ordering was simple ready right away. Phone call was basic, customer service was a simple what's your order okay ready in 20 mins. Which is fine. Pho comes in one size so ordered multiple. 1 order is good for two adults. 1 was good for 4 little kids age range 2-12 but not if they want a second bowl. Which I feel like it should be multiple sizes or just in a bigger size to accommodate a variety of customers. Mango sticky rice and pad Thai was perfect for taste and texture. Pho was very flavorful. Definitely recommend to try if your craving and in the area.
I'll start off with the positive: I went in with the intention of securing my mango sticky rice. After checking out the menu, coming from a workout, I needed some protein. I got the Crying Tiger (rib eye) and I do think it's a high price(27$) for the amount of food you get, specifically the meat portion was disappointing. I will say the food had great flavor, the meat was super tender, and juicy. The sauce paired so nicely with the meat and the rice. No argument about the mango sticky rice, it's my favorite. If you go on peak time and or afternoon be ready to spend time looking for parking. There is a parking structure available just not immediately available.
After watching a movie with BTS J-hope nearby, our group grabbed a quick lunch at nearby Thai 7 Bistro at 1:30 pm. It was pouring outside, so we appreciated the indoor dining space and that our group of five was able to fit (thanks to the other customers who swapped tables so Thai 7 Bistro could put two tables together for us). Since it was raining, a warm soupy dish sounded good. The kao soi ($21.95) caught most of our eyes so three of us each ordered that. I got mines with beef brisket. Crispy chicken wings were an option, but I didn't want to deal with the bones and with the wings potentially getting soggy in the soup. I usually get pad see ew or a curry or crab fried rice, so I never had kao soi before. And now that I had it, it will be part of my standard Thai food order now! I love that there were noodles in this dish plus topped with crispy noodles. The soup was almost as thick as curry. Beef brisket wasn't too fatty either. It all just went well together! I also ordered a Thai iced tea ($4.50) and that was delicious, a good balance of sweet with my very savory meal. It did take a while for us to get the check since the restaurant got busy, but we appreciated being able to pay separately for our own order rather than try to split the bill five ways with different orders. We had all parked at the parking structure by the theater, so it was a quick walk back. There are some street parking spots up front, but we preferred the covered parking structure given the rain.
Solid Thai food (did not try any of the Vietnamese dishes). I enjoyed the pad see ew and fried shrimp. The lychee tea was delicious, however it's not sweet - which I enjoy. There's plenty of seating and can accommodate large groups. Service was quick and friendly. Popular area, however, we didn't have trouble finding parking with the parking structure nearby.
I found this place on Yelp and I was around city of Brea. I never knew Brea had a old town Brea feel. It was pretty interesting area. I thought the food was a bit salty. It took a little bit of time for them to get the food out. They weren't super busy. But the place is small and it had outdoor sitting. I thought overall it was ok.
Food was delicious and service was lovely. We had Pad Ke Mao two ways (tofu and pork) plus chicken satay. The satay was white meat and therefore a bit dry but the peanut sauce a cucumber relish were perfect moistening agents. Located in adorable Downtown Brea shopping g area.

Pros: * Crying tiger ribeye was a tender piece of meat, prepared perfectly * Chicken wings were 5/5! * Yellow curry was flavorful * In a great location in the heart of downtown Brea * Ample parking and Tesla charging in the nearby covered parking structure * Friendly service * Clean restroom and restaurant * Small outdoor patio Cons: * Rice was overcooked and dry * Sauce that accompanied the steak was bland * Yellow curry was too watery I would give this restaurant a second try. We visited Thai Bistro for the first time and were truly impressed! This cozy little restaurant seats fewer than 20 people, which gives it a warm, intimate vibe. The ambiance is calm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal. We ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken, Garlic Green Beans, and the Shaken Beef. Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully cooked. The Pad See Ew had the perfect balance of sweet and savory, the Green Beans were crisp and garlicky, and the Shaken Beef was incredibly tender and flavorful! Portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was friendly and welcoming. We're already planning to come back. The sign said "Authentic Thai Cuisine" and it was probably one of the worst Thai meals I've had in recent memory. Pad Kra Pao - ordered with pork. This dish is a common home cooked meal in Thailand. It is comfort food. And I've tasted this dish in Thailand many times. Usually it is done with ground pork and stir fried in a wok served over rice with an egg. Please google this dish. The dish we ordered and received was not a Pad Kra Pao... it was a saucy mess. This means the wok wasn't used properly. I've been to Mark Wien's restaurant in Bangkok which specializes in Pad Kra Pao. So I was hoping to enjoy a proper version. Housemade Sausage - had potential, but it really dry (see photo). Pad Thai - mediocre. It wasn't bad, but it was not sit-down restaurant quality. It felt like cafeteria pad thai. Papaya Salad - was definitely not authentic as well. lacked fish sauce / shrimp components so was devoid of umami. Tom Yum - Not bad, but again not great. I just wish words like authentic weren't thrown around so easily. I really wanted to like this place, but the service was sloppy (which is forgivable if the food is great), but the food is not authentic. read more

Been looking for a good Thai place and this place hits the spot! Second time here and the quality and service is always soo good. This plaza has a parking structure but there's also street parking and temporary parking by the theatre! They have bruxie, teaspoon, and lots of other foods & desserts nearby at walking distance. Plenty of options and great vibes to dine outside on a sunny day :) The waiter will happily serve you at the outdoor tables or indoors as you prefer. Inside seating was very clean with AC and we were given their sauce trays of FRESH Thai chilis and peppers. Spicy and tangy! My go to's: - pad see ew mild with beef $17 - drunken noodles mild with beef $17 Both noodles were stir fried perfectly, moist, delicious, and full of flavor! Pad see ew had more of the soy sauce flavor with eggs and chinese broccoli. Although it could use more egg and broccoli, the noodles and flavor were there! The drunken noodles had more bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, and basil. Would definitely come back when craving Thai! The servers are always so nice and get you seated immediately. My wife and I had dinner tonight at the restaurant. We were very pleased to find a Thai restaurant on the strip there. We were greeted right away. Very friendly. The restaurant was very clean. We had option to sit inside or outside. The waitress was very nice and accommodating even being very new on the job. The food was fantastic. We were blessed to meet Nova as well. She was amazing. She took time out to explain the menu and the history of the restaurant. She let us know they were open for lunch with dine in or carry out. Overall an incredible experience and we will return. We had the fish dinner and the pineapple rice. So good! read more

A small quaint Thai restaurant in downtown Brea that's a must try. They've been here for about a year now. Usually great customer service for dine in and takeout. Recommend the drunken noodles with fried tofu which was not too spicy, lemon shrimp which was good to munch on, eggplant and pad kra pow (ground chicken) dishes as well. Parking is located at both sides of the restaurant as well as the parking structure. Overall clean and cute little place that serves the Thai food classics! read more

Thai 7 Bistro is perfectly located in the Brea downtown loop near the movie theatre. The restaurant is not very large but very cozy. I brought a date and we ordered two main dishes: 1. Pad thai noodles with chicken and 2. Yellow curry chicken with veggies, including carrots and potatoes. Both meals were really tasty and filling. We had a lot of leftovers for tomorrow! Very good place in a very nice location. read more

The Kao Soi was amazing. Great texture and flavor. The beef brisket was tender and juicy. The noodles were well cooked and the best part is the crispy noodles. The curry flavored soup was flavorful. 5/5 will come back for some more Kao Soi. read more

I have eaten a few times at this restaurant as there is no other thai restaurant at close proximity to west Brea. I have not been too impressed with the food. The green curry has green beans. I have never seen green beans in green curry anywhere else before. The pad thai noodles are overcooked and bland. And the rice is gooey and tasteless. But the worst was the Thai Ice Tea tonight! My husband brought take out home and I was so looking forward to a refreshing cup of thai ice tea! But it was definitely off! Either they used bad industrialized ice tea from a can or something was spoiled. I had to throw it away. Not happy, as I was so looking forward to it! How hard is it for a restaurant that claims to be authentic to make ice tea from scratch?? Also, last time we ordered take out from this place, the food came in tall plastic containers. Tonight, it came in small containers, like the ones for lunch portions. So, they also shortchanged us on our portions as well. Very disappointing! read more

Genuinely the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to. First of all, the service was amazing, the servers were incredibly kind. Our server was super helpful when I asked a question about one of the items on the menu. I ordered the seafood tomyum noodle and let me tell you it was probably the most delicious, creamy, and flavorful dish I've had in a while. The oysters tasted so fresh. It felt like I was tasting the ocean lol. The richness of the broth was super zesty and flavorful, perfect for a tomyum soup. The squid was delicious and so were the shrimps and fishballs. It was so flavorful I didn't even put any condiments into it! One more thing is that the Thai tea was amazingly good. I had to order another! If you are looking for something to eat that will satisfy your hunger or just want to find a good Thai restaurant I would 1000% suggest this place. I will 100% be coming back here and telling all my friends and family about this restaurant. Although the restaurant was a little small it felt super comfortable. So if you're in Brea or near Brea looking to try something new or find a new favorite restaurant... come here!!!!!! read more
This place hits a homerun. The flavors of each dish were on point. Not too salty. Just right on the pallette. The waitress checked on us to make sure we were good. She was very kind. New Thai fusion restaurant in downtown Brea. Offering all the traditional Thai foods, they also have pho, so Vietnamese food was the fusion part. It's a small, cozy place with a half dozen tables or so. Outside seating also available. We ordered their homemade sausage, yellow curry with chicken, pad see ew, and crying tiger. Flavors of all the dishes were all good and everything was fresh. Satisfied our Thai food craving. Service was attentive and efficient. read more

Thai 7 Bistro in downtown Brea is a decent option if you're in the area. The food is okay--not the best or most authentic Thai food I've had, but not terrible either. The portions are generous, and the prices are fair for today's inflation, still way too much for one person's lunch but what can you do. (Appetizer+entree for $27) For a small place, they've done a nice job with the decor, which adds to the experience. The server was friendly and attentive, though it's generally expected but now-a-days its considered a plus so I'm including that. On that note, the serving plate was dirty. Pretty gross. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like but hey, I don't have to use it so no harm no foul I guess. While there are definitely better Thai options out there, I do appreciate the multicultural addition to downtown Brea's food scene. We got to try a whole bunch of food but our favorite was the pad see ew. The pad thai had a mellow flavor but some people might like that... otherwise everything was great. The staff was friendly and it's nice to know that there's a solid Thai spot in brea. read more
Went in on a Friday night and it wasn't busy at all. We got seated immediately. The service was extremely fast. We got food like 2-3 minutes after ordering, I was very impressed by that. The food portions are very small considering the price. I got the combination pho for $16, it had like 2 meat balls and a couple pieces of beef. For $16 you can definitely go to one of those trendy high end pho places with unique flavors and toppings. But this place is a basic hole in the wall. There's no unique flavors or crazy additions, it's just simple vietnamese comfort food and there's nothing wrong with that, it just needs to be cheaper. I left the restaurant still hungry. This place is in a very busy and popping area (downtown brea) and has to compete with the big trendy restaurants and make a statement to survive. The food here isn't bad, in fact I found it very comforting and yummy. I really hope this restaurant does well. They just need to add some flare to their menu to really stand out. read more

Craving Thai food? Look no further, this is the place! Fresh vegetables with just the right amount of crunch, served in a savory sauce. They can adjust the spice level to your liking. We kept the spice level low to enjoy the flavors of each dish. The eggplant and chicken presentation was beautiful! I've never seen green peppers and eggplant sliced in such an artistic way. We had to admire it for several minutes before I could dive into it. As delicious to eat as it was to look at. My friend loved the Pad See Ew. She said the thin slices of Chinese broccoli on top were done to perfection. My other friend loved the yellow curry. We drank pots of green tea and talked forever. The waitress was very attentive, refilling our tea pot, and patient with us. Such a great lunch spot. I can't wait to go back. read more
We had been waiting for this place to open since we saw a sign of a Thai place opening in downtown Brea. The ambiance was cozy, family friendly with inside and outside seating. The menu is straight forward, we did notice that there was no alcohol and no desserts. We decided to try a little of everything. Our favourite dish was the rice which was delicious and shareable size. The pho was really good as well and the best meat for us was the raw meat. The pad Thai was really good in flavour, but it only had 3 shrimps and the noodles were a little harder than expected. Service was great, they were very helpful and patient with us as we took a while to decide. We will look forward to visiting this place in the future. read more
The most flavorful Thai dishes I've had in North Orange County. I can't believe such a good tasting place is in downtown Brea...just feels out of place because it's good and you kind of expect it to be overpriced and and not good. Any way, great job! The staff was friendly. The food came out quickly and fresh. The portions were not huge- but enough to not leave hungry. I'm just shocked at the taste- so good! I'll be coming back. read more

Finally a new Thai/Vietnamese restaurant in Brea and this spot did not disappoint. Probably one of the best pad see ew I've ever had. I only wish there was more of it! They make it authentic by putting yummy Chinese broccoli in it instead of American broccoli. My youngest usually doesn't eat Thai dishes but he surprisingly ate it up! They also offered a solid bowl of pho and Shaken beef, my oldest go-to dish. I'm looking forward to trying their other Thai dishes. Service was fantastic and the ambiance/decor was on point. It's a bit tiny inside so maybe not the best for large parties. read more
