One of my favorite places to eat. Salad. rolls and entree are always top notch. I would like to try takeout sometime.

Raw herb chicken DO NOT ORDER

We come here quite a bit and most times it's great! Even today all but one of our dishes was great! We sent a chicken dish back that was not fully cooked and the manager brought back the same piece of chicken just cooked a little more! Unreal!!!! We just said forget it because it came back out still RAW! All of our other dishes were perfect! I really enjoyed midway thru a Luke Bryant song came on and like 6 staff members stated dancing! Over all I would come back just didn't enjoy the way th manager handled that chicken dish I won't be ordering that again!!! Our server Gabe was TOP NOTCH though!!! He was extremely attentive!!

Prime rib.

Did you know that the headquarters for Texas Roadhouse is located in Louisville, Kentucky? Today's fun fact was brought to you by Emily H. from Louisville, KY! You can learn so much just reading Yelp reviews! I was here recently to celebrate a birthday as a party of ten. We shared fried pickles and the cactus blossom. For my entree, I had the 12 oz. prime rib with the green beans and mashed potatoes for my sides. While the food is standard to all Texas Roadhouses here, the service is amazing. 3.5 stars! Phoenix has some pretty amazing steakhouses so there's no need to pop into a Texas Roadhouse but hey, sometimes we just want some rolls with honey butter.

I've eaten at this restaurant a handful of times, we decided to do takeout last night and overall the food was very good! The only downside was I found a hair in my food, which was disappointing. Mistakes happen, but it did take away from an otherwise great meal. I'd still order from here again because the food and service are usually excellent, I just hope they pay a little more attention to food handling next time.

Steamed vegetables side.

Me Eat Meat. My sister wanted steak for her birthday dinner and who am I to say no? Let's go! And before you roll your eyes, I get it. It's a chain. But it's a chain that has the best rolls with honey butter and even you can't deny that those rolls are a pretty much a dessert in itself. I got the prime rib with both horseradishes and au jus with some steamed vegetables (my parents were with us, okay?) and some loaded mashed potatoes. Everything was served hot and tasted great. No complaints here. Our table of nine had amazing service and it was a nice evening. I would never turn down an invite to Texas Roadhouse.

BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST TEXAS ROADHOUSE IN AZ! My fiancé & I decided to stop by after the gym ( even though we probably shouldn't have lol ) we got sat immediately after arriving! The server stopped by and took our drink order & later on offered us appetizers, she was super knowledgeable of the menu. We got our appetizers and right she took our order both our steaks were cooked to perfection!! The ambiance was fun and loud there were a lot of birthdays around us but it was still nice. Our server Andi was the best ! Definitely ask for her if you stop by to this location! She was super nice, very attentive from asking us about our food to refilling our drinks & offering more cocktails and beers. 10/10 the food & the service !! Love their mango margaritas !

Glad I stopped in for lunch today. I haven't been here in a while and I was craving steakhouse food! My friend and I started with the rattlesnake bites. They were hot and gooey, served with a side of ranch. Yummm!! We shared the combination meal, ribeye with 12oz ribs, served with two sides (loaded mashed potatoes and fresh veggies). My friends ribeye was cooked well at medium temp., however, very bland, needed more seasoning. Nothing worse then having to season your steak post cook. My ribs were fall off the bone tender and the bbq sauce is both sweet and tangy. Overall a great lunch, I'll be back soon! Our bartender and his service was awesome, thank you!!!

Waiting for a seat.

I took my son and his family to Caldwell County Bbq for dinner. There were nine of us. I ordered…read morethe meal for 8. Absolutely delicious. I was amazed that it fed all nine of us with plenty left over to take home. Seriously, it cost about $12 per person before tips. I can't take them out for a burger and fries in many places for that same price. The service is excellent. Great place.

I stopped by Caldwell County BBQ for dinner on a Saturday evening. Located in Gilbert, I found…read morestreet parking right in front of the restaurant despite it being quite busy. I'll preface this review by saying I have very high standards when it comes to BBQ. I am from Houston after all. Caldwell County BBQ very much lived up to the hype. It's no surprise their reviews are so good. Ambiance (5/5): Caldwell County BBQ serves Texas-style BBQ. I felt right at home. There's a lot of Texan decor and the sort of ambiance you would expect at a BBQ joint. It's a spacious restaurant with plenty of seating outside and a decent amount of seating inside. We sat inside. One of the things they do well is keeping the A/C blasting both indoors and outdoors (while you're likely going to wait in line) along with misters. Definitely something you need in Phoenix! Service (4/5): I hate waiting in line. Though it's not unusual at popular BBQ spots, I still wish places like this would hire a couple of more people to make the line move faster (or even completely eliminate the lines). We probably waited in line for about 20 minutes. They have a water cooler along the route, but it was all out. Something the staff should check on a little more frequently. With all this being said, Caldwell County is well worth the wait. Drinks (5/5): Whenever I'm at a BBQ joint, I'm looking for sweet tea. Which they have here. Plus your standard assortment of soft drinks and alcohol, with a focus on beer. Food (5/5): BBQ joints typically have you pay by weight or by plates (one meat, two meats, three meats, etc.). Caldwell does it by the pound unless you go with a sandwich, loaded baked potato, etc. What's nice is they also have a family pack for 4 which comes with brisket, pulled pork, and your choice of ribs, sausage, or one other protein which is escaping me. Plus two large pint-size sides. We rolled with this option as it's a good deal (brisket, pulled pork, and St. Louis style ribs with corn casserole and mac and cheese). White bread, pickles, onions, and jalapenos are available free of charge. There are three BBQ sauces at each table: their classic BBQ, spicy, and AZ gold). We also added a quarter pound of the AZ burnt ends. Man, these are some quality meats. Brisket is the true test of Texas BBQ and the shining star. The brisket here isn't the best I've ever had but it's quite respectable. The sweet and spicy AZ burnt ends were delicious too. The ribs were tender and had a nice sweet glaze on them. The pulled pork was my least favorite, but still quite good. The sides are solid, though they could be a bit better. The mac and cheese was too peppery for my taste and the corn casserole was too sweet. Like pretty much all craft BBQ these days, Caldwell County BBQ isn't cheap. But the quality is there. This is the type of place that I would come back to again and again. They also have a location in Peoria though this one is the original. And I hear they don't run out of meats as other BBQ joints do (especially in Texas). That's a big plus! It's always a bummer when a BBQ joint is out of something you want. If you haven't been to Caldwell County BBQ, change that quick. Yeehaw!

OK, we've been big fans of Caldwell's BBQ for years and somehow had never made it over to…read moreCaldwell's Mexi-Q... big mistake on our part--especially since it combines two of my all-time favorite things...brisket and tacos! Parking was a breeze, and since there were three of us (including one never-full teenager ), we went for the Mexi-Q Platter and added an extra birria taco so everyone could try one. It absolutely lived up to the hype! The surprise standout? The brisket tostada--sooooo flavorful and satisfying on every level! We also loved the sausage link, Mexi-Q twinkies (aka smoked jalapeños stuffed with brisket and cream cheese, then wrapped in bacon ), and honestly, everything we tried was a hit. For sides, we ordered Grandma's Calabacitas (a yummy squash veggie mix), roasted cream elote, and Julio's mac n' cheese (which I skipped, but the guys were big fans). We wrapped up this phenomenal meal with their GF banana pudding (they offer both GF and regular options), and it was seriously scrumptious--such a treat to have a gluten-free dessert that feels just as special! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and attentive. They double-checked that everything we ordered (minus the mac n' cheese) was gluten-free, which is always such a relief. It means so much when a place truly understands gluten and can clearly guide you on what's safe. We sat outside and soaked up the beautiful weather--it was the perfect setting for such a fun and tasty meal! An easily awarded and well deserved

I stopped by this spot to try their spin of Mexican bbq. The carnitas taco was really good. I put…read morethe Carolina gold bbq sauce on it and it was perfect. I liked that sauce so much that I'd consider going back just to try it on some of their other bbq. I didn't like the brisket birria taco as much because it was way too salty for me. The mac and cheese was also just okay. It had so much sauce that it was too thick and unpleasant to eat. The vibe was good though. They have seating inside and outside. I love that they had the misters running to keep the outdoor seating cool. The staff was also very nice.
