I always enjoy eating here and doing take out is easy and fast. Their rolls are very addictive with the cinnamon butter. The fried chicken steak and sirloin steak with gravy is a big portion size and always satisfying. I like to get their baked potato as they salt the outside and very good. Their chili is also very satisfying and I like that it's all meat with no beans. They take care of veterans and are very friendly. It's no wonder they are always very busy. read more

The place is very popular so be prepared to wait if you don't use the app to order to go or get in the waiting list. There is first come first serve at the bar if there are empty seats. The restaurant is pretty large so the wait is usually less than 20 min. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. I'm pretty surprised that the food is as good as it is for a chain restaurant or any restaurant in its class. I'd say it actually punches above its weight. You could spend twice as much somewhere else and not get as good a meal. It is very casual place with lots of TVs and Country Music. If country music is not your thing then you might want to eat somewhere else. Or just tune it out. Good food at good prices. Check them out along with their specials. read more

We love Texas Roadhouse. I always order a steak (sirloin or New York) and it has NEVER been bad. Always cooked well. I'm leaving a review today because our server, Hannah, was so great! Super attentive, checked on us often, and made sure we had everything we needed. She made us feel seen and valued. Nice to talk to too! We have a 16 month old and Hannah was so sweet to her. While we try and make sure she doesn't make too big of a mess, there will always be something that falls on the floor. They are very family friendly at Texas Roadhouse. read more

I always order their country fried chicken and chili here. I also love their rolls so I usually place an order to go via their app whenever I get a craving for them. It's so easy and quick. They email you details of your order and the time the food will be ready for pick up. They also text you when the order is ready to be picked up. My experience has always been seamless and service has always been great. I absolutely love their slightly sweet rolls. They're light and airy and the cinnamon butter is a perfect complement. You get 4 of them with an entree. As usual, I ordered the country fried chicken with extra cream gravy. I have noticed recently the size of the chicken is much smaller but I guess it's to be expected with inflation. For the price they charge it's still a great deal. For the sides I got their chili as It's well flavored with no beans. I also ordered 2 extra sides of chili for only $2. It was a lot of food! Every time I go to pick up my order, the parking lot is very full and there's a constant stream of customers going in and out so I don't really understand the 3.2 rating. Hubby & I met my friend for dinner here tonight. I put us on the waiting list. We were seated right away. Our server came to the table right away. Everyone was friendly. My friend ordered an iced tea. Hubby ordered his favorite beer. I ordered a sangria. My sangria was not good. i just drank it. My next was the Texas peach fuzz. It wasn't good either. My fri ordered the ribs with a loaded sweet potato & salad with ranch dressing. She said all her food was good. Hubby ordered his usual. The Dallas, which is filet minion medium with baked potato, butter & sour cream & salad with ranch. He added mushrooms & onions. He said the steak didn't have the sear & didn't have seasoning. It wasn't over cooked. He questioned that it was filet. He said it was edible, but not good. I ordered the country fried steak with brow gravy on the side with mashed potatoes & brown gravy & salad with ranch. My salad had many wilted lettuce pieces. The breading fell off the country fried steak. Most of my steak was not edible. The mashed potatoes had pieces that weren't cooked through. Most of the food was not good. The drinks weren't good. Decided to stop by for an early dinner. They actually have a great lunchtime/early dinner menu as well. I think it's like $13.99. Although we didn't do this Menu, I looked at it and thought it was a pretty good Value Menu. My husband ended up having herb crusted chicken. Husband said it was good, although he did mention, he felt the chicken was "compressed" whatever that means.LOL One of my favorite things to have here besides the ribeye is the catfish. Rarely do you find catfish cooked the proper way if you're from the Midwest. We frequent Texas Roadhouse often. Yesterday, we enjoyed a nice meal of a 6oz sirloin, salad and baked potato. I think it's hard to beat the prices. Normally we come before 5:30 and it's even more affordable at $14. The size salad is a nice size, I got an interesting dressing that was spicy. Lime and honey, it was good but a little spicy. We come here quite a bit and most times it's great! Even today all but one of our dishes was great! We sent a chicken dish back that was not fully cooked and the manager brought back the same piece of chicken just cooked a little more! Unreal!!!! I have to say we had a 5 star experience this time. I didn't quite like the table we sat at as those metal back chairs kill my back and the seats are so hard my butt hurt by the time we left. My steak (ribeye) was cooked to perfection, even though I couldn't eat the whole thing. Maybe next time I'll skip the onion blossom or bread. Mistakes happen, but it did take away from an otherwise great meal. Me Eat Meat. My sister wanted steak for her birthday dinner and who am I to say no? Let's go! And before you roll your eyes, I get it. It's a chain. But it's a chain that has the best rolls with honey butter and even you can't deny that those rolls are a pretty much a dessert in itself. I got the prime rib with both horseradishes and au jus with some steamed vegetables (my parents were with us, okay?) and some loaded mashed potatoes. Everything was served hot and tasted great. Glad I stopped in for lunch today. I haven't been here in a while and I was craving steakhouse food! My friend and I started with the rattlesnake bites. They were hot and gooey, served with a side of ranch. Yummm!! We shared the combination meal, ribeye with 12oz ribs, served with two sides (loaded mashed potatoes and fresh veggies). My friends ribeye was cooked well at medium temp., however, very bland, needed more seasoning. Nothing worse then having to season your steak post cook. We all were so excited to go out to Texas Roadhouse since it reminds us of Utah (we used to live there and visit TR a lot). As expected there was a 45 minute wait, which luckily we found a seat. We then were seated at our table with NO bread. Our server Ray came to greet us and we could tell right away he's a great server. We placed our order, 3 kids meals, 2 Dilo bites (steak) and chicken nuggets. I ordered chili and a side salad, my husband ordered a Rib-eye steak and ribs. Our food took longer than normal to get there which wasn't a surprise because it was busy. When the food arrived it was pretty cold. Kids were so hungry at that point, they just ate it as is. Even had multiple parties be asked "Do you have a reservation?" with the Response "No we don't" So we watch walk in after walk in get seated mind you it was just us and an elderly couple when we got there. 6-7 parties were seated ahead of us and this couple. So the manager brings out the food and they said yes they reheat the food off the plate even when bites were taken out. That's so unsanitary. Disgusting. Since the plates came cold they should make new plates since all were their fault. Nope the manager did not want to make fresh food. My son got reheated shrimp that turned into rubber. Magnus and Austin are my HEROS!! I have yet to have had a bad experience with these 2!! The prime rib is with my sweet potatoe with marshmallows and the sweet butter topping...mouth drooling!! Ok, here's the deal. Their SIRLOIN is what they do best, so order a sirloin steak and you won't be disappointed. My favorite steak in general is ribeye, but the ribeye they serve here is RIDDLED with fat, and they call that "marbled!" I have grilled scores of ribeyes that I bought at Fry's and none of them were as fatty as the ribeyes I got at Texas Roadhouse. Service is Excellent, but it is a LOUD noisy sports bar atmosphere so if you like to eat in peace and quiet go somewhere else. As I've previously reported their burgers are great. read more

My family and I went to the Texas Roadhouse location at 3961 S Gilbert Rd, Gilbert, Arizona, 85296 on July 9, 2026 at 5:00 pm to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. Everything was going amazing until my son's steak came out wrong and was too bloody. We had to send it back for them to cook it more and then when he got it back it was still bloody so we had to send it back again. At this time, the manager over the store came to our table and asked if it would be OK to filet the steak since it was thick to make sure it got cooked how he wanted it and we said sure. The steak came back out and it was perfect, now here is where the problem occurs, the manager of the store said that he apologized that it's been three times having to send the steak back and that this steak was on Texas Roadhouse. My husband said no that's fine and the manager said are you sure? Thats when I said that would be great if you could take the steak off because in my opinion, that was only the right thing to do. Here we have already eaten and my son that just turned 18 on his birthday is having to eat by himself because the steak had to be sent back three times. It was the right thing to do is to comp his steak. Well we get ready to pay our tab and the steak is still on our order. I asked the waitress about the steak and she said she would go talk to him. She came back and told me that the manager said he was going to keep the steak on the receipt since my husband said don't worry about it, at this point I am so confused and I told her that yeah my husband said don't worry about it, but I said that would be great if you could take the steak off and she said well he said that your husband said no and you said yes, so he just went with your husband. I have never in my 52 years experienced a manager that would leave a steak on the bill due to a steak being sent back three times. Also, this was his idea to comp us for the steak. We never asked for it and then to just say he was gonna keep it on there because my husband said don't worry about it just floors me. We had bought three steaks at $39.99. And for this location to leave us having a bad experience with one steak and still making us pay for it when it was the managers idea to take it off is not right and we were not treated well which really sucks because it was my son's 18th birthday and it ruined the whole night. read more

There are things to like and things to dislike about Texas Roadhouse and I think it might be a corporate thing more than just this location... Things to like: The staff and manager are extremely courteaous and friiendly. If there is something you need or want, just ask. If there is a problem and it it isn't addressed, you probably didn't ask. My steak was cooke perfectly but the rest of it, the taste of the food is average. Nothing to stand out in either way. It is the staff however that saved this restaurant from 1 or 2 stars. What isn't to like? 1) Pricing policies. When you order a $35 ribeye dinner, and the server politely asks if you would like mushrooms and onions with your steak, or, your mashed potatoes with gravel or loaded as an option, and you accept the offer, you are not expecting an up-charge of $2.49 for the steak and $1.49 up-charge for the potato. Maybe it is on the menu or not but the server should inform you when they offer it. 2) rice and mashed potatoes served in a small cup that you might expect to get about a cup of soup in. Really? Plate it on a 2nd plate if you have to. In the bowl, you don't realize how little you are being served. And for those mashed potatoes in a small size cup, not the regular sized cups. And, there was as much sour cream as there was mashed potatoes; it was pathetic. Not complaining and asking the server to replace it or not calling the manager was my fault. I just know better and as much as I like the people there, it will certainly affect my decision to return to any Texas Roadhouse or what I order there. To me, that was worse than the up-charge.
