    iced vanilla latte

one of the best places to get a good latte on campus, also pretty creek view which allows students to sip on coffee while doing work, i've found this to be a staple in places i choose to study. also pretty decent price for the quality of the coffee. i usually order the iced latte w oatmilk and the espresso is an amazing flavor. def recommend coming here

This coffee spot inside the alumni center at UT Austin is cozy and the food is great. I had a rosemary sea salt bagel this morning, and when I come for lunch, I like the sandwiches. This is a popular spot for meetings because it doesn't get too loud, and there are plenty of comfy seats, most of which are leather to fit the longhorn theme. Outdoor seating is also available by a creek behind the cafe. I recommend the hummus and pita for a cheap but filling meal. Canned sodas here are cheaper than in campus vending machines, and the speciality drinks are a great way to warm up on fall days. I wish it was open later each day, but it closes mid-afternoon.

Turkey Club lunch special with a spicy tortilla soup.

I am giving this meal a four star because I got exactly what I expected with a college campus Cafe meal. If you are visiting the University of Texas campus and want to be away from the main student areas, visiting the Alumni center for a snack is great. Service is quick and the food is pre prepped and toasted or warmed when you order. The soup was really tasty, with a good hint of spice. The sandwich when paired with the soup is very filling, the pesto spread was tasty. I gave it 4 stars because a friend who had also ordered the same meal, had a melted cheese layer but mine did not. The Cafe also has a coffee bar and their drinks are reasonable for the price. You can get a meal and drink for under $15.

Saag panini. Was good for the first couple bites. Then the blandness kicked in and finishing the second half became a chore.$6.5

Sighs, nothing lasts forever. The food has been disappointing lately. The last time I came, I got the tomato soup with a half panini. The soup was horrendously salty, did someone mix up the teaspoon with a tablespoon? I threw away half my cup and I'm a stickler for not wasting food too, so you can imagine the unpleasantness my taste buds had to endure before I trashed the rest of the cup. My painini was well burnt on one side, so much that you can taste the bitterness of it. Today, I returned having given them the benefit of the doubt...boy was I let down. I ordered the Saag panini and had a hard time finishing even the first half. If there was a color to describe the taste of each bite, it would be the blandest tone of tan that you can find on the color spectrum.

Caprese hot grilled panani with a side of aioli sauce and something else (spinach, fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil pesto on demibaguette) $6

That consistency is what really keeps me coming back. You know exactly what you're getting, and it always delivers. Austin has no shortage of food trucks, but this one definitely stands out if you're craving a solid sandwich that actually lives up to the hype.

We seriously love Diana for her recommendation got the knuckle and the veggies. Knuckles was perfect lettuce and perfect meat ratio. Not too much lettuce and very generous with meat. The cheese crisps was so so so so good and just made the perfect crunch. The veggie though was so so amazing I have never had such an amazing artichoke sandwhich it was so good. If your taking it to GO and eating later let them know and they will pack the soggy stuff separately. Once again we are in love with this sandwhich and its definetly a must ever time in Austin. Thank you Diana and team for the best sandwhich ever !

The fresh herbs were a bit excessive on the lamb sammie. Would have liked the lamb to be the dominant flavor, not the mint.

Last week I was on a break from keto, and my husband read my mind. He took me here as the first stop on a rainy Friday night date. I know they have good sandwiches, but they also have their "bait shop" schtick. They're not near any significant fishing spots, and I didn't see any evidence of bait, but whatever. Their sandwiches are good, so they can get away with it. While I ate my sandwich on the patio, we discussed the novelty nature of many Austin businesses, and which ones can hold up and which ones are pure hype. I ordered the Club sandwich. It's not a true triple-decker club, but it was the sandwich that had the best variety of fillings in my opinion. Everything you'd expect in a classic club, but easier to eat because it wasn't stacked absurdly tall like other clubs. The sourdough bread was very crispy, and the meats, cheese, and vegetables worked well inside. On the side I got potato salad which I like more than their other option, which was chips, but the potato salad wasn't anything special. Their patio was the perfect spot to enjoy a rainstorm. They have some glider chairs off to the side that are good for lounging on, but when it really started to rain we moved in to the center of the patio. I'm glad I got a chance to try Handsome Dan's. I doubt I'll be back anytime soon because huge sandwiches like this need to be an occasional treat for me, but if you're in the Springdale area looking for a satisfying meal, this is it!

So I decided to stop by and get one at Tuccis! let me just start off by saying that they load the subs up!! The portions are huge for about ~$13 a sub so that's a plus. Ordering and checking out was quick and service is no frills but it's nice to see they remember locals orders. I ended up dining in which was partially why my rating is a bit lower. I would recc taking out since there wasn't anyone bussing the tables so it was a bit untidy. I was really excited about the sandwich but the cuts of meat were a bit tough (prosciutto) and I probably should've gotten white bread since the wheat kinda fell apart. I'll have to comeback and try a diff combo.
