Cute neighborhood bookshop :)…read more Lots of community events for adults and kids. There's always something for everyone. They carry a lot of book titles and if they don't have it in store, you can order online as well. They also sell notebooks, cards, merch, and lots of knick knacks. Seating inside can be limited but there's lots of outdoor seating too. There's a parking lot across the street if the parking lot next door is full and they also have lots of neighborhood parking. Overall, great place to browse books, stationary, read, and grab a drink!

There was also a semi-small outdoor area that promoted or facilitated an area for people to converse. There was books on the inside and I must say... its like a more local, mini startup of a bookstore like FOX, Borders or Barnes and nobles. You have books and a coffee shop. They had some pastries and very little amount of edibles but the Dirty chai was wonderful! It was not so sweet where your teeth is about to decay with every sip! Although, it was still premixed with sugar... Now... The ambiance was lovely. It was a quiet kind of charm and, can be peaceful. In short, overall: Parking 3/5 Customer service: 5/5 Price: 3/5 Quality: 4/5 Grade: A Definitely worth a visit!

Terrible Love is covered in overgrown weeds that obstruct their building and their footprint is a…read moresmall (approximately 15'x15') space. There is only one opening to the building and it is the check in/ POS space. So for employees to get in and out of the building they need to move the entire counter to shimmy themselves into a small brick building. And yet, They have a line around the corner. It is easy to see why, the team at the service counter and friendly and well-informed. They have great drink suggestions and you can tell they care about their product. Their is a latte for everyone and the seasonal rotation keeps it fresh. If you're not adventurous(or visiting from out of town), just go with their specialty latte: grapefruit brown sugar latte. It is well-balanced and you wont be disappointed. On another note: Logistically, this place is kind of a nightmare, where do the employees go to the bathroom??? Why is everything pushed up next to each other?? How do they pass any type of inspection?? Is there even a fire exit?? But who cares, no big deal, their coffee is delicious and their lattes fresh and inspired.

The line always moves pretty quickly, the staff is warm and friendly and the coffee & matcha are delicious. I tend to be a no flavor in my coffee kind of gal cause I fear it'll be too sweet. However last time I was there I got their homemade banana syrup in my iced flat white and I have not stopped thinking about it, I'm going back this weekend. I also tried my friends matcha with the banana and it was really good as well. Terrible love is great addition to Hyde parks charm!! They are also opening a wine bar next door soon.

My absolute favorite item is the jalapeno cream cheese croissants, they were sold out which was a bummer. We decided to get a blueberry danish- it was great. Hoping next time we are in the area they have what we are looking for and staff is in a better mood as we love delicious baked goods and supporting local.

They have the standard Italian fare along with sandwiches and other bites. I got there in time for the breakfast, so I had the breakfast sandwich. During the week you can get the breakfast sandwich and coffee for $8, quite a deal. The breakfast sandwich was on a Kiser roll and normally came with ham. I asked if I could substitute for turkey, and my request was granted. Huge kudos for this massive breakfast sandwich! Also, the cheese was melted. I can not tell you how many time I have ordered a sandwich cheese elsewhere even a melt and the cheese has not come out melted. The sandwich flavorful, hot and delicious. True confession...it was just a bit too much bread for me, yet quite a tasty sandwich. This was a bit amusing being an Italian restaurant and they were playing country music. Some tunes included: Where Hall All the Average People Gone, Devil Woman and Streets of Bakersfield. Definitely will be returning when I'm in that area...
