Teton Gables Motel was a real treat and RE-treat, so to speak. This small-ish motel in Jackson Hole, Wyoming was very accommodative and surprised to the upside with its marvelous 1950s type signs and name scrawl up front when you pull in.
We stayed here at the same time as the Financial Forum that was going on in Jackson Hole in late summer, and although prices may have been a bit inflated to take advantage of tourists and visitors, it was nonetheless a pretty good bang for a buck motel!
The rooms are average size, maybe a bit dated but very clean and beds were elaborately taken care of, the rooms as well in all respects. We also felt - for sure - that management was taking care of and caring for the patrons and folks staying..
Teton Gables takes reservations. They are located more on the South side of Jackson Hole, halfway up a steep incline of some hills. Some rooms have views but perhaps not all so check ahead!
