I hate to be this person but I felt this hotel didn't offer the customer service we paid for and…read moreexpected. This is more than likely a management issue so I won't name staff. But myself and the other guests in my party were not happy with our experience at this hotel. First of all, we weren't told at check-in that we had to specifically request housekeeping or else it wouldn't be done. So after our first night we had no fresh towels and the room hadn't been cleaned. We had to go up to the front desk to ask for towels. Apparently this is standard protocol for hotels now, but this isn't something we were aware of and it would've made our stay much easier if they had just given a heads up at check-in. We've stayed at plenty of other places and it's the first time we encountered this. Also, we needed to use the coin operated laundry facilities but there wasn't a place to get coins. The front desk clerk said they had just ran out of coins and that there was a laundromat we could walk to across the street to get change. I believe this was around 8-9pm. We asked if there was someone else that worked there who could open the drawer for change but they said there wasn't. This was frustrating because if there's a coin operated laundry machine it should be easier to get change for bills on-site. Those little inconveniences make a big difference for guests when they're traveling and exhausted, hoping for a place where they can relax and get things done without so many little setbacks. The guest in my group who was told to go across the street ended up having to do exactly that and washed there instead.

I cannot say enough good things about my stay. The front-desk employees were always accommodating,…read morecheerful, and kind (no matter how late or early it was). The housekeeping staff did a great job in our room (note: housekeeping was by request only during our stay, but it was no problem at all to request and get service the same day). The hotel was lovely, very clean, and quiet. Just a great experience overall.

Paradise-like setting Friendliest staff…read moreUnique accommodations I've been staying in hotels, Airbnbs, hostels, tents and other traditional lodging for much of my traveling life. This was my first time staying in an honest to goodness Conestoga wagon, and it was truly luxurious. Not words I ever imagined typing. Pulling into Moose Creek Ranch was not immediately remarkable, but beginning to walk the grounds, I felt the persistent mountain breeze, heard the babbling Trail Creek, and saw the peaceful natural surroundings and well-manicured grounds all commanding my recognition. Then there were the comfortable environs of the ranch buildings, inclusive of the cozy lodge room, a game area, and a spot for breakfast, all with a chill music soundtrack wafting through. The staff were friendly through and through. We took advantage of a trail ride with Biscuit, our wrangler, the morning of the 4th of July, and enjoyed his capable, humorous guidance through a forest trail near the Ranch, capably tailed by Rooster the resident corralling canine. And now back to the Conestoga wagon. These things boasted bunk beds and a king size, with a full bathroom, small sitting area, pre-stocked mini bar with room for your own items, plentiful plugs/USB ports, and a highly capable mini-split AC system. Ridiculous (in a good way)! If the original Westward Ho movement had these things, Manifest Destiny would have hinged on thread-count, and we'd have never made it past Ohio. These things would be the Airstreams of the 1800s. Loved the experience. This might be the experience you needed, even if you didn't know it.

Now that we have stayed here four days, I feel I can give a better assessment…read more Upon arrival there was a great entrance to this resort at the base of the mountain. Very green landscape and well maintained. Beautiful flowers and ponds all around. The lobby was small and quaint with two ladies sporting smiles and welcome feelings. After getting to the room we found a kitchen with full stove and oven, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. The sitting room has two leather chairs with ottomans, a couch, and fireplace. You have full Murphy bed by the TV. You have a huge eight foot by eight foot glass door viewing the property and back side of the Tetons. There is a balcony with two chirs and table to view a sunrise with coffee or a sunset with a beverage. You have two full bathrooms. One with a huge all glass shower and the other with a two person jetted tub with shower option. The main bedroom has a king bed and four by four window with the same view. TV at foot of bed. The resort has a fantastic golf course with ponds all around it. Some have fly fishing catch and release. Fairways are kept well and green. The greens are smooth and groomed well. Weather is perfect this time of year for a round to remember. Lap pool. Two jacuzzis. Cornhole. Frisbee Golf. Firepits. Spa. Salon. This place puts you 30 minutes from the Tetons and Jackson Hole. I will make this trip again with kids down the road. If you are looking, make this the place. You won't regret it.

The homes at the Resort are awesome. We have rented 3 over the years and highly recommend them…read more This review is for the sorry sorry management of the golf course. The course is in good shape but these folks do NOT want your money. They would rather have you go on down the road I guess. The director of golf is "awkward" at best. A distinct Funky vibe is the only way to describe this place. I have golfed w/groups all over the western U.S. and our group of 10 guys all said, "let's not golf here tomorrow" after one round there. We just didn't feel welcomed or appreciated despite spending over $200 each there. So we took our money and went down the street to a much more friendly and welcoming group where we spent $55 for a round w/cart.
