Bug that I found in my bed

Pretty sure it has bed bugs. Was the only one encountered but looks like a juvenile bed bug from reference photos. This was unfortunate because the overall stay was decent. Definitely would fall under the category "get what you pay for". Hotel had a odd odor throughout, door locks are janky, outdated throughout. Pros: great water pressure, and sodas were 75 cents from the vending machine.

Unfortuntely, we were not pleased with the room they gave us (right next to the noisy front desk, view of the parking lot), so I requested something better (it was our 30th anniversary, after all) and they obliged, which went a long way with us. And everything was a huge thumbs up from that point on! The room itself spoke strongly to our aesthetics - dark wood, cozy, cabin-like feel, but with all the amenities of an upscale apartment, including a comfortable bed with cushioned headboard, well-stocked kitchen, full-size refrigerator, pod coffee machine, WiFi, two large screen TVs. And we had a great view off the patio/deck. There was no run-down furniture or bad carpet or imperfections in the wood or curtains. Everything was pristine clean, including the outdoor chairs and table. And everything worked perfectly and intuitively - lights, plugs, fireplace, shower (with great water pressure!), stove, small kitchen appliances, and a refrigerator that was super cold when we arrived. It might seem like these are all obvious things. But we have stayed in so many hotels, some quite expensive, that had all sorts of little things that didn't work right, were dirty or worn, or were difficult to figure out. Those little annoyances added up to big disappointments. The fact that everything was functional, clean, and easy here was a fantastic relief. Side note on the room: our one complaint was the pillows. Standard "bulk buy" flat flat flat hotel pillows. This is such a ubiquitous thing (the one and only exception I've ever experienced in the US was the Lotte Towers in NYC) that I can't really let it affect my review, but I did find it a little disappointing that they don't spring for better pillows. Service was wonderful. They sent up sweets and drinks on two different nights, as anniversary gifts. The doorman happily brought up our load of luggage, with door to door service. Front desk was always helpful and friendly - the with directions and recommendations and they sent up slippers since we forgot to bring any kind of slip ons to go to the pool. In the lobby, coffee is available in the mornings, fruit and water in the afternoons, and dessert every night from 7:30 to 9:30. We spent one late afternoon at the indoor pool and jacuzzi at the spa, and then made our way up to the 4th floor hot tub with mountain views. So beautiful and relaxing. We also visited Spur, which we did not enjoy, but I reviewed them separately and do not feel that should carry over into the hotel review. No question we will come back here when we visit the Tetons again!

Teton Valley Lodge (established in 1919) is an outstanding destination. It has it all: excellent access to blue ribbon rivers, comfortable accommodations, great food and friendly service. My buddies and I just returned from 6 days fishing and 7 nights at the lodge and it was a great trip. We fished several sections of the South Fork of the Snake River, the Henry's Fork of the Snake River, and the Teton River, which flows in the front yard of the Lodge. Joselle and Brian Berry run a fantastic operation. There is nothing they won't do for you to make your stay a success. I have fished all over the world, but it would be hard to improve on the TVL experience. The food is amazing (it compares to some of the best restaurants in NYC), the cabins very comfortable and well fitted out, the guides top notch and the service outstanding. And the location within easy reach of so many first class rivers is hard to beat. All of us caught the big three trout species: brown, rainbow and cutthroats, in sizes up to 23 inches. One day on the Henry's Fork, in fast pocket water, I must have caught 30 fish in one afternoon. My group has fished together each year for 25 years and we all agree that TVL is one of the top locations we have experienced. The cost was also quite reasonable compared to other lodges. Be sure to bring your cameras (or iPhones) because pictures of the scenery and the fish will be memorable. Thank you Joselle and Brian.

This was my first time staying in an honest to goodness Conestoga wagon, and it was truly luxurious. Not words I ever imagined typing. Pulling into Moose Creek Ranch was not immediately remarkable, but beginning to walk the grounds, I felt the persistent mountain breeze, heard the babbling Trail Creek, and saw the peaceful natural surroundings and well-manicured grounds all commanding my recognition. Then there were the comfortable environs of the ranch buildings, inclusive of the cozy lodge room, a game area, and a spot for breakfast, all with a chill music soundtrack wafting through. The staff were friendly through and through. We took advantage of a trail ride with Biscuit, our wrangler, the morning of the 4th of July, and enjoyed his capable, humorous guidance through a forest trail near the Ranch, capably tailed by Rooster the resident corralling canine. And now back to the Conestoga wagon. These things boasted bunk beds and a king size, with a full bathroom, small sitting area, pre-stocked mini bar with room for your own items, plentiful plugs/USB ports, and a highly capable mini-split AC system. Ridiculous (in a good way)! If the original Westward Ho movement had these things, Manifest Destiny would have hinged on thread-count, and we'd have never made it past Ohio. These things would be the Airstreams of the 1800s. Loved the experience. This might be the experience you needed, even if you didn't know it.

The showers are super clean and have body soaps. I always use my own but still a nice touch, like staying at hotel. I recommend getting a room with AC in the summer. It was so relaxing and cute. The grounds are very clean and well maintained! I loved this place! I'd would stay again! Absolutely recommend this place!

We got to Victor and we were tired and didn't want to continue on in the dark so we googled camping. We were so lucky to have found this place. There are so many homey touches. The showers are beautiful and clean - like what you would find in a nice house or hotel. The showers were private and stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body gel. They give you nice fluffy towels. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. There are also little fire pit/stoves around and they give you s'more kits. There is also a pool table, TV and games upstairs in the restaurant. The best part is the restaurant. I'm from the SF Bay Area where there is an abundance of good restaurants, this restaurant would have stood out there. It's small and the menu is short but everything on it is great. We had burgers and fries and draft beers - one of the best burgers I've ever had. While we were there another table got the pot pies - even though I was full, that looked and smelled delicious. Then there is free breakfast. Their breakfast is so much better than what you get at hotels. It was really good and the coffee was great. If I could give more than five stars I would, the staff goes over and above to make the place welcoming and fun.
