We got to Victor and we were tired and didn't want to continue on in the dark so we googled camping. We were so lucky to have found this place. There are so many homey touches. The showers are beautiful and clean - like what you would find in a nice house or hotel. The showers were private and stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body gel. They give you nice fluffy towels. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. There are also little fire pit/stoves around and they give you s'more kits. There is also a pool table, TV and games upstairs in the restaurant. The best part is the restaurant. I'm from the SF Bay Area where there is an abundance of good restaurants, this restaurant would have stood out there. It's small and the menu is short but everything on it is great. We had burgers and fries and draft beers - one of the best burgers I've ever had. While we were there another table got the pot pies - even though I was full, that looked and smelled delicious. Then there is free breakfast. Their breakfast is so much better than what you get at hotels. It was really good and the coffee was great. If I could give more than five stars I would, the staff goes over and above to make the place welcoming and fun.

Each cabin comes equipped with a small stove, microwave, and fridge . The beds were very comfortable. I slept like a baby. We got a two bedroom cabin and it was priced very reasonably. Teton Valley Lodge (established in 1919) is an outstanding destination. It has it all: excellent access to blue ribbon rivers, comfortable accommodations, great food and friendly service. My buddies and I just returned from 6 days fishing and 7 nights at the lodge and it was a great trip. We fished several sections of the South Fork of the Snake River, the Henry's Fork of the Snake River, and the Teton River, which flows in the front yard of the Lodge. Joselle and Brian Berry run a fantastic operation. There is nothing they won't do for you to make your stay a success. I have fished all over the world, but it would be hard to improve on the TVL experience. The food is amazing (it compares to some of the best restaurants in NYC), the cabins very comfortable and well fitted out, the guides top notch and the service outstanding. And the location within easy reach of so many first class rivers is hard to beat. All of us caught the big three trout species: brown, rainbow and cutthroats, in sizes up to 23 inches. One day on the Henry's Fork, in fast pocket water, I must have caught 30 fish in one afternoon. My group has fished together each year for 25 years and we all agree that TVL is one of the top locations we have experienced. The cost was also quite reasonable compared to other lodges. The cabin also has a wet bar with cafe machine, well stocked with capsule coffee, hot chocolate and tea. The room itself is within the forest and well shaded. Coming from Hawaii, it is cold for us at its summer nights when the temperature gets into the 50's. But heater is available in the room. The surround forest is beautiful and tranquil. On our daily short walks to the dining room, we were awarded with the fragrant fresh pine tree forest smell, the beautiful view of the Grand Teton Mountain range, and a well designed delicious 5-course meal. The booking includes free breakfast and free dinner. It also includes horse riding around the Jenny lake, free use of the well maintained beach cruisers. The cabin we are in has a wall that is shared by a neighbor. But there are more expensive individuel cabins that are not shared. The location is ideal as it is a short bike ride to the Jenny Lake Visiter Center, it also offers the best wide and well maintained bike route, separate from cars. It is also close the famous hike to Inspiration Point and many more trails. In the end, this was the highlight of our trip. Very expensive, but it you can afford it, go for it!
