Enjoyed our stay and felt the price was VERY reasonable. Arrived late at night on 10/23 and check in was a breeze. Spacious king room with a fireplace which was a lovely touch. Room was very clean, bed comfortable, bathroom very spacious. Utilized the $5 breakfast a couple of times and the food was plentiful (buffet style) and good. Also spent a little time at the bar and service was excellent. We used the pool and hot tub one evening and loved that the pool is indoor/outdoor with some kids swimming under the partition. It's an older property but well worth the money. We booked for 3 nights but spent an impromptu night in Gardiner, MT in the middle of our stay and didn't mind losing the money for one night's stay. read more

The absolute worst check-in of my entire life. I used the service through USA perks, and they double booked me and the gentleman at the front desk basically said "there's nothing I can do to help you! After a long day of traveling from Salt Lake City, that's the last thing I want to hear upon check-in. He did provide documentation to help me, but since I booked with a third-party, there was nothing the hotel could do. It sure put a damper on my entire trip because I could not stop worrying about it until I got it taken care of. But let me go back to the hotel because we really enjoyed it and I hate to have this be the highlight of the trip. The room was very nice. We had a party of three. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for all three of us. The bathroom is a nice large size so that they shower was great. The towels I cannot get over the towels! This is the first hotel I have ever stayed in where the towels fit me. I'm a plus size woman and it was so wonderful to know that the towel actually fit around me. What an absolute score. The other highlight of the trip is the breakfast which is included. They cover a cost of about five dollars a day just recovering tips but thinking back on it. I think that's really save us a lot of money the convenience of being able to go down to breakfast every morning and having something available was really really nice. The only drawback is the lady that worked the check-in table at the breakfast was not the friendliest and I do believe there was a language barrier. After the third day, we didn't see her anymore so I don't think we were the only ones that had to complain about that. The service was excellent in that area. They were constantly picking up your plates and making sure that you had everything you needed. We sure enjoyed the hot tub outside and the pool was half indoor half outside and having the sauna was a treat to dry off. We were only able to use it one of the nights, but it sure was a treat. We absolutely love the decor of the place. They have bears everywhere And the lobby has a fireplace in it as well. The Customerservice at the front desk was not the best. But like I said, I had an issue with the third-party people so they tried their best to accommodate me. But I really wish someone could've reassured me that everything was gonna be taken care of and then they didn't have to worry about anything. Otherwise, I would've had a lovely time. How can Jackson all be bad? It's not it's absolutely fabulous. Mother nature pulled out all the stops and we had a wonderful trip. This location was great because it was nice to the two restaurants that we picked and made reservations for the gunbarrel one and then their sister company whistling grizzly, which I highly recommend that place was off the charts delicious. There is a cute little chocolate, coffee shop literally right behind the hotel. You go on the other side of the fence on the side of the hotel and it makes the best chocolates check it out. Once again, the overall checking in killed the vibe, but we enjoyed the location and the room was comfortable. There was a Colette tour which made the lobby really busy, but I'm sure that's just par for the course being in this area. If I come back, I might check out the sister property instead, but we definitely would check this place out again. read more

My husband & I planned our vacation to Yellowstone & Jackson Hole for 1 year. Long story short, first day in Yellowstone I injured my knee & couldn't put weight on it. We headed down to Jackson Hole & had reservations at Rustic Inn in Jackson Hole for 3 nights. when we phoned ahead to see if we could come in early with my injury before heading home, they couldn't take us early. They had told us we could reschedule our reservation within a year, then when we got home & called to reschedule with Rustic Inn they wouldn't reschedule our reservation. we lost almost $3,000 on our reservation. Family of four with 9 and 11 year old. We decided to go with this hotel because of the indoor pool and was not disappointed. Check in was easy, the room is a bit dated with a loud old school heater, but clean for the most part with excellent water pressure. The water also heated up quickly which was an A+++ for me. The TV has regular channels and has no Netflix capabilities so we were pretty bored with that. Daily free breakfast is nothing special but free is free. Every day (we stayed for 6 days) it was scrambled egg, potatoes, sausage, very crispy/salty bacon, cereal bar, yogurt parfait and fruit. Just enough to get us started for the day. The parking is abundant and free. The indoor hot tub is just a soaking pool so there are no jets, the indoor pool leads to outside so my kids thought it was fun to swim under the separator from inside to outside. The jacuzzi outside has jets and is actually quite nice on a cold snowy day. I highly recommend this hotel for families. read more

I recently booked a stay at The Lodge based on a positive Travel + Leisure feature that praised the property's breakfast buffet, fitness center, and cocktail lounge. Those amenities were key reasons I chose The Lodge, so I was extremely disappointed to find that the actual experience fell far short of what was advertised. The hotel's website made no mention that the fitness center was closed, the complimentary shuttle was not operating reliably, and maid service was minimal. Had I known that the fitness center was unavailable -- a major priority for me -- I would not have booked the stay. Additional issues included a malfunctioning TV in our room that required constant resetting (which my husband had to troubleshoot himself), and an air conditioner so loud it sounded like a jet engine, making sleep difficult. When we brought up these concerns and requested a room change, we were told there were no better rooms available and that we could receive a refund instead. Most upsetting was the aggressive and confrontational response from the front desk staff during this conversation. We expected more professionalism and courtesy given the nature of our concerns. Out of desperation after a sleepless night at the Antler Inn, we booked a room here and were really happy with it. The beds were comfortable and the place was spotless. It was quiet, which is my number one criteria for a hotel. Our room was really nice and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good. I loved all the woodland creature carvings around the interior and exterior. I'm docking a star because it was pretty expensive, had a loud AC unit and an exterior spotlight that shone into our 3rd story window at night (outdoor lighting to highlight woodland creatures, I'm assuming, but still took piling pillows against the blackout curtains to keep it out). read more

Recent visit was very disappointing, the gym was closed and the breakfast was terrible. Stayed here on a recent trip and the experience was subpar. Super pricey and the amenities have dwindled. We paid an arm and a leg to stay here for 2 weekday nights, twice what we paid over the winter season. The gym is closed. Breakfast is still provided BUT the quality is really bad. They have a few bruised fruit, yogurt cups, and premade egg burritos, everything tasted terrible. A huge disappointment compared to the old breakfast that was offered over the winter season. In our room, the faucet was broken, we called the front desk to let them know and have them fix it, after 2 days, no one came to fix the faucet, we had to wash our hands in the shower. Very very clean, quiet, comfortable Lodge. Everything we needed was here. Did I say clean? I cannot stress that enough. Everything was spotless. Our room was perfect and had everything we needed. The shower was a double shower including a rain shower head. The beds were super soft and comfortable. The temperature in the room was perfect. The breakfast area was very nice and clean, with a large variety of things to choose from in the free breakfast included in with the room price. Super friendly staff, very attentive to all of our needs. The front lobby had a nice seating area by the fireplace. There's a free shuttle that will take you into town, but it's also walkable at just over 1 mile away. Takes you straight up to Jackson square. There's also stores and restaurants nearby. My family and I really enjoyed staying here in Wyoming! The lodge had a very home-y feel. All of the staff were kind and helpful to us. The included breakfast was amazing with multiple different options. The rooms were nicely cleaned and the beds were comfy. The outdoor aspect of it was very pretty with loads of cute wooden bears all around it. There was also a bunch of parking available which was great. The lodge can be very misleading. The hotel is dirty, worn down, and is in need of new housekeeping staff. Our room was not clean - orange/yellow shower curtain, toilet latches had orange pee residue around the latch, dust and small human hairs (like from a man shaving) all along the bathroom border, floor had not been vacuumed, the couch in the room was stained, the elevator carpet had stains. For the amount of money you pay a night, they have a lot of work to do - cleanliness should be #1 and it is obviously not. Go somewhere else. read more

Mixed feelings... a few pluses, and lots of minuses. First the pluses, the reception staff were very nice. The bar staff were also top notch. The complimentary breakfast was also nice, and they know how to cook bacon right. The complimentary shuttle is also a big bonus, especially since this place is about a mile from the main part of town and temps were in the single digits. The issues are mostly centered around the cleanliness. This place is just pretty gross when it comes down to it. There were red stains all over the white blanket on the "clean" bed when I got there. There were red crayon scribbles all over the shower. The tissue box had clearly been half used, and it looked like housekeeping had just stuffed a handful of crumpled tissue in the box and left it like that. There was also hair in the shower, hair in the sink, and dust all over the main room. The rooms look incredible online, but they are nothing like the photos when you get inside them. Worn out loveseats and couches, scraped up wood all over, and dust and residue/streaks from what I would assume is cleaning products pretty much everywhere. Not to mention, the rooms are DARK. Even with all the lights on and maxed out and the windows open, it's still too dark to really see clearly in the room. Pretty wild to see a hotel charge this much and just be this generally dirty. But hey, it is Jackson... so you know you're gonna pay. Also, there was a ton of super slippery ice in the pool area, which was a very clear danger. I slipped on it twice, but thankfully didn't fall or hurt myself. All in all, not worth the money for what you get. I'll definitely look for another option next time I visit. read more

First of all, I would like to just give my compliments to the hard working staff. The people in the kitchen handling breakfast were on top of it. They refilled the buffet, bussed tables quickly, and kept the dining room looking shiny and clean. The maids came and not only cleaned up the room and bathroom but arranged our kids' stuffies on the beds in a very cute way. The kids loved it. They also loved the carved bears all around the hotel, some climbing poles in the lobby or peeping in at you through the windows or lounging at the pool. The pool is heated and there's an indoor and outdoor part, and there's an outdoor hot tub people started smoking pot in (NOT COOL, maybe I should have let my kids run amok and ruin YOUR time ) and there's an indoor sauna as well. The only issue I have with the hotel (aside from the pot smoking on the property) was there is no way to wash clothes without having quarters, and of course the change machine only takes $1 and $5. The girl at the amenity shop sent me to the bank (they don't do cash back on purchases) around the block, and of course the ATM dispenses $20s, so I still didn't have what I needed. There are actually washers now where you can use an app to pay to operate them but the hotel doesn't have anything close to that. So we ended up going to the laundromat that is accessible through an alley directly behind the left side of the hotel. It ended up being easier to pay for the washers and the Mexican restaurant next door was awesome. The hotel was quiet at night. Overall I would stay here again (but prepared with more clothes or ready to change actual cash for quarters next time). read more

We paid for 4 nights and 4 rooms and on the first night we gather to celebrate with the group we were with and we must have gotten loud, but we were not aware we were disturbing anyone and instead of making us aware and asking us to quiet down, the night manger burst into our room without knocking and warned us he would call the cops! I responded saying a simple request to quiet down would have been sufficient. He left and within 5 minutes 4 police officers were there. They found nothing wrong and we continue to have a good time but quietly. We decided to leave and go to a friendlier resort and left after only on day. The place is cute, but extremely orverpriced for the lousy service and bland food. The people who work here look miserable and are very unhelpful. No joy in their voices, no friendly greeting when you walk in or out. They are supposed to offer concierge service but weren't very helpful. We asked for a late check out and we're told that they were afraid to get in trouble if they noted a late check out for us. AFRAID. That is how awful it must be to work here. Then there's the included breakfast. It's awful. For the price, we thought there's be some variety. Even a cheap Holiday Inn has more variety. Same bland scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, and breads as a Holiday Inn.. no waffles or any other variety, yet this place is so much more expensive than something comparable to a Holiday Inn. This was the biggest disappointment we have ever encountered on vacation. We paid $2,200 for three nights Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (it was advertised to be $1500!) and the first thing we noticed was the room was so dark that we had to use the flashlights on our phones to pick out our clothes. The AC rattled all night, the furniture is very dark and worn out. The shower had a regular spray plus a rainshower head which constantly dripped cold water. The exit door to the parking lot had a broken handle which was very sharp and extremely difficult to open, plus the rug was torn so bad it was a slipping hazard. I would never recommend this hotel, nor would I recommend using Expedia or Hotels.com which were no help. read more

Overall our stay was a positive experience. A few notes that may be helpful: - Housekeeping is only 3 days/week, namely Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday - We were lucky to get our room serviced on Saturday We got back to the lodge late that afternoon and housekeeping was just finishing up on our floor, but our room was not serviced. We asked the housekeeper if our room was next and were surprised when she replied by asking if we needed service today. In the end our room did get serviced so no harm no foul. - Front desk staff are curt but they do their job, so pardon them if they're not the bee's knees when it comes to hospitality. - Our room was comfortable; the small fridge came in handy; there's also a microwave, keurig style coffee maker, lockbox, and free wi-fi - Shower was adequate, hot water was fine but lighting in the bathroom was poor - We did not use the pool but it seemed like there was always a cadre of folks enjoying it - Complementary limo to town is a nice touch, however you should know there's also a free town shuttle that runs every 15 minutes with a stop right in front of the lodge; we found out about this after we called for a limo but were turned down because the driver has luggage duty whenever a bus tour shows up - Here's a pic of the flyer we got at check-in. We could not find some of this info on the web site but in hindsight it would've been nice to have this up front. read more

Very nice hotel! Pretty nice rooms. We came during late summer. Pool and Spa we're nice and clean. Only downfall was it closes at 10:00. Nice and close to down town Jackson hole. The ski village is not to far either which is where we went to go on a horseback ride. Some of the front staff was kind one lady was rude to a few customers and other staff members knew/agreed. Due to covid no daily house keeping, which is fine but in order to get towels, ice, etc you have to call and they take a long time to bring anything. They are so short staffed the front desk people were delivering the items. It would be nice if they gave you a towel sack to place dirty towels in as they pile up in the bathroom. They could also staff more based on reservation numbers. We asked for ice and it never came. Pool towels took 30 min to arrive, and only came once they were closing the pool. Free Breakfast was very good for a free breakfast. Burritos, pancakes, sandwiches, parfaits, juice, coffee, bagels, fresh fruit. Way more then most hotel free breakfasts. read more

I checked into the hotel yesterday and they informed me that even though I'm staying for 3 nights, they will not be able to provide maid services. However, they assured me that if I needed anything, just to call the front desk and they would have it delivered. This morning, I called to get fresh towels and soap/shampoo/conditioner and they told me they could not deliver it to my room. Additionally, when I checked into my room it was missing items such as conditioner. For spending this much money on a hotel, I would have expected better service. I love Jackson Hole and plan on returning, but will not be staying here. read more

As background, I have stayed at various "high-end" properties, including the Fairmont and Palace Hotels in San Francisco and the Enchantment in Sedona. I therefore have some basis for comparison in rating this hotel and its services and facilities. To call this place a "resort" is a misnomer, for there is little about it to warrant this designation -- the exercise room and pool area were akin to what one would find at a Holdiay Inn; there is no golf or tennis; no entertainment is provided, and the dining room itself and the food was average at best, this includes the complimentary breakfast. Further, as observed in other reviews, our room was not clean, with built-up crud in the bathroom. In addition, on our second night the TV in our room froze, with only the channel guide available. The front desk sent two employees, ostensibly from maintenance, to correct the problem -- all either could do was push some buttons on the remote, which my wife and I had already done. In response to my expressed disgust with the television situation, one of the employees preceded to lecture me about my rudeness and lack of appreciation for his efforts. In the end, we were moved to another room and the Hotel did waive the $27 a night "resort" fee, which, considering that the property was anything but a "resort," was no great compensation for the inconvenience of having to unpack, move, and then repack. In all fairness, two items must be noted -- the shuttle service to town was both convenient and efficient and Adin the bartender was great. He was friendly, offered prompt and excellent service, and helped assure that our time in the bar was relaxing and restful. While I realize that Jackson Hole lodging is pricey, for some $600 an night this place as a severe disappointment and, as such, I would not recommend it. read more

I cannot say this strongly enough - DO NOT STAY HERE. We paid $800/night and within the first five minutes of checking in we were given a room that already had people staying in it which is an obvious security concern. As we went back to the front desk to let them know that room was taken and we needed another, another employee walked up to the person we were speaking to to let them know the chef had called out (five minutes before the restaurant was opening) They had this conversation as they were "helping us out" which was unprofessional. Here are some other notable negative callouts from our "luxury resort": There was dried blood on our comforter. It took two phone calls and a few hours for them to come and change the sheets They only clean the rooms once every 3 days. The day that they were going to clean our room I called them in the morning requesting that they don't clean because I remembered I took my rings off and had them next to my pillow. I came back to my room and my rings were gone. I was obviously upset and went to the front desk and received a lot of attitude and no assistance. She even yelled "JESUS!" as we were walking away. My rings were not given back to me. There were a minimum amount of pros but I will say the pool was great and the majority of staff (outside of the front desk staff ) were friendly and fantastic. read more

COVID-19 review. Depressed our hopes of going to Hawaii in the summer were dashed, I planned a good-ol fashioned roadtrip around the Western US and have been wanting to go to Jackson Hole for nearly 15 years now after a co-worker turned me on to this place many, many years ago. The time had finally come and I was surprised that the hotels were so pricy including this one. However, the morning we were waking up in this hotel was our anniversary before going to the Tetons and Yellowstone so I thought we'd spend the extra cash and spend the night here. The pictures were beautiful I saw online and I couldn't wait to get here. Basically, this was so romanticized in my mind that it fell way below expectations, unfortunately. What the pictures didn't reveal was that this hotel is on a very large road with a lot of traffic and other hotels and businesses crammed all around and I was hoping it was more remote into the mountains. It's Wyoming. They have a tremendous amount of space with a tiny population, must everything be sandwiched so close together? Now, after that sad discovery, I will say, service was great, the room was clean, the theme certainly fit the whole hotel, and the pool area was wonderful! Social distancing didn't really exist here in July of 2020 but at that point, there were so few cases in Wyoming (less than 1,000 total from March onwards) that it wasn't too big of a deal. We still wore our masks too and from the pool as well as did our best to keep a distance from others, but that only worked to a degree. Bed was comfortable. Kids didn't complain about the pullout but it looked pretty uncomfortable to me. Breakfast during the summer was grab-'n'-go and was actually a pretty decent breakfast compared to what many of the other hotels had offered up to this point. If I went there when less people were in the area, I'd probably like it better, but it was terribly busy in the whole town (which was somewhat surprising?). My husband and I have stayed here 3 years in a row. This time the were doing some renovation . Yes the signs said please pardon the mess. However there was litter in all the landscaping and mattresses blocking parking spaces. I would never expect the litter very disappointing. I have always given 5 starts. Melanie was such a help in my trip to Jackson, I only had so much time to go see the Tetons and animals and she sent me a map where I could see things before sunset. I ended up seeing the mountains and a grizzly bear! Couldn't have done it without her help and even though I ended up not being able to stay at the lodge for the night because of morning thunderstorms, when I come back to Jackson I will for sure come to The Lodge because of the awesome hospitality from Melanie! read more

This is a very nice hotel and rooms are large. The breakfast included was a choice of pancakes, burrito or egg sandwich. There was fresh fruit cups also. The rooms were very quiet. The hallways were very wide. The hotel had a cozy lodge feel to it. It was very clean. I would recommend staying here. You would drive to downtown. read more

Dirty! From the outside the lodge is gorgeous and looks like an amazing resort! Once you step in, it's like a dark, dirty motel. The hallway carpets were gross and dirty definitely could use a replacement The elevators were rickety and stairwells were musty. Once in the room, disgusting. Carpets were just as bad as the hallways and they didn't vacuum because there were old snacks of popcorn on the floor. There was hair on the bathroom counter and you can tell it hadn't been cleaned. The main shower head was all rusted out and you can tel the shower hadn't been cleaned. Luckily I carry Clorox wipes and wipes down everything!! They don't come around for service everyday so we would just grab more towels from front desk. Supposedly came to turn over the room on 3rd day but all food crumbs still on floor. Gave it 2 stars for outside interior and close proximity. I would never recommend this place to anyone!! read more

Were we in Jackson again and, as this time, we could get off season rates for the king fireplace suite we would consider staying here again. But only after we exhausted all other similar price options. For $158 / night, the price was good for the property. With rates of over $300 the same room in on season, not so much we'd say. Pros and cons considered in balance, AOK means this property won't be off our list but not at the top of it either. ROOMS: PRO - Recent Refresh: Cosmetic update of the facility, rooms and bathrooms for furniture and finishes, etc. PRO - Some in Suite Format : Suites are spacious and some include fireplace along with comfortable sofa seating, good electronics in room , free wifi and a big plus from my view, a Keurig coffee maker and fridge. PRO - Shower Only Bathrooms: Whether in all rooms or just the King suites I don't know, but the shower only format we prefer was available for our room. This format includes a large shower with overhead rain shower head as well as wall mounted head. CON - Dark: Our suite had smallish window, long room, dark colors in design choices and minimal lighting made the room darkish. Lighting at desk area seemed more ambient than task oriented. ROOM LOCATIONS: CON - Main Building Rooms: First floor rooms seem to sit right on top of the parking lot. Some of the construction work was still going on and the backside of the building was used as construction staging zone. If you're visiting in the near term, you may want to ask about your room location with this in mind. Once the construction staging is removed in the back of the building, you'd be better off with a back facing than front facing room for noise control. If you MUST have a first floor room, ask for one in the East Wing. PRO - East Wing Rooms: The walk to the east wing is a big longer to the lobby / breakfast room but east wing seem newer and they are definitely more quiet. Our room was on the third floor (four floor building) of the east wing at the far end of that wing. PARKING CON - The parking lot is packed when the property is full and the spaces smallish sized. Consider parking on the back of the building and walking around. HOTEL LOCATION PRO - Just a few miles from Jackson's downtown square and a short drive to the Moose entrance of Grand Teton National Park. Also easy walking distance to a small retail mail with a grocery (Whole Grocer) with good deli if you're looking for snacks or take out. FREE SHUTTLE: PRO - Hotel shuttle will take guests into town free. A particular plus now given the road into town is being re-habbed and traffic is a mess. CON - Nothing says the hotel must provide guests with shuttle service. But Federal Civil Rights law says that if the hotel provides this service, it must make it accessible to all guests equally. Sadly none of the shuttle vehicles (they have two or three) are accessible to people using wheelchairs. This means if you are disabled or traveling with a friend who is, while you're paying for this shuttle service in your room rate like everyone else, you'll find you're second class and it is not available to you. When I inquired about this issue I was told the hotel's owner was unaware of the need to provide the service equally. Really? The law is twenty three years old. POOL PRO - Neat indoor / outdoor set up via a roll up garage door. Two hot tubs. CON - Another violation of Federal Civil Rights laws, it has no accessible pool lift as all facilities have been required to have since February 2013 (as set in law in July 2010 with a nearly three year window to get it done). That means a guest who uses a wheelchair or otherwise mobility disabled (say a person who lost legs in the Boston bombings) can't use the pool, although like all other guests is paying for the pool amenity in room rate. I inquired about the absence of poollift. The staff said the owner was unaware of this ADA requirements. Nonsense. I get a Hotel Exec's newsletter weekly as well as DOJ summaries periodically and you'd have to live under a rock to be in the hospitality biz and not to know the pool lift rules. Example of a property waiting to get sued before it provides equal access? RESERVATION POLICY CON - Credit cards are charged for the entire duration of stay at the time of reservation. FREE BREAKFAST PRO - One of the best we've had at a hotel. Hot table bacon and eggs, yummy yogurt with fresh fruit, home made granola, bagels, Starbuck's coffee, etc. CON - Opened at 7a which seemed late to us, have since changed opening to 6a. That might help with the uber crowds we experienced every morning. So might rearranging the food service tables. (See Homewood layout.) Otherwise chaos reigned in the breakfast room each morning. CLEAN PRO - Public areas and room sparkled. STAFF PRO - Cordial. CARVED BEARS Known for having lots of cutesy carved bears displayed throughout property. read more

The worst front desk manager I've had the "pleasure" of dealing with . We got a letter posted on our door stating that there is cigarette smoke coming from "our room " (see photo attached ). We got back from a long day of skiing and I call the frond desk to clear things up . Mister Diego the front desk manager should probably go back to school and learn a bit of customer service . He immediately made sure we understand that if we don't like the way things are handled we should probably look for another accommodation. Way to go Diego . We are a non smoking family with children and this letter comes as an offense . On top of his horrible treatment we are being accommodated at a place that we call "far from being as described " .The pool area looks like a storage room and drinks are being served from dirty cups . We travel from California and $320 a night means much more in our books . I would be embarrassed to answer the phone the way mister Diego did. "A great disappointment " Mister Diego . This place was disgusting! Our bathroom in the hotel room we were staying missed the cleaning. Everything else seemed to be okay in the room although it did smell of smoke. I've tried contacting the manager (Joe) 3 times. He's never there or he will return my call, which never happens. I'm about to add the photos from the bathroom but I'm hoping he will see this message and contact me. I'm not sure what else to do since I've already called and tried to get someone to help me when we were there. read more

Here are the pros: it's on the main road and accessible. It's got a nice rustic look and feel, nice pool, nice art work in the hallways, fireplace in the room, hairdryer provided, free shuttle, fantastic breakfast, fridge and microwave Cons: There was a huge amount of various types of hair and food in the beds (see photos), no towels at the pool (even though they're supposed to be provided), bundles of hair (like knots of hair with lint) found around the pool, no button or handicap access door to get into the building, the restaurant wasnt even open because they're short on staff, the Keurig coffee machine didn't work in our room and was dripping yellow liquid with black specs inside/smelly mold. Absolutely filthy room. Disgusting. The drawers had hairs, food, particles, etc. The floors looked like they had not been vacuumed in weeks and also had food, some plastic trash wrappers, and other particles. The bathroom door handle had no lock on it and wouldn't work. The lamp shades and lamps were crooked and somewhat bent when we got in our room. About an eighth of an inch a grey dust is accumulating on the top of the headboards of the beds and looks like they haven't been cleaned in years (see photos attached). They also didn't provide soap for the bath/shower, and no lotion (like most basic hotels provide), and no plastic laundry bag in the closet. The drain in the shower was completely clogged and filled up as we were waiting for hot water before even getting in the shower. We travel at least 1-2 times a month and I can honestly say I've never stayed in a filthier hotel. I'm shocked at how disgusting and unkempt it was, especially for the price I paid. The least a hotel can do, is provide clean sheets and run a quick vacuum through a room before a guest stays. This hotel has a major issue with their housekeeping and they probably need to address it. This wasn't a room that housekeeping missed. The beds were made; so housekeeping marked this room off as clean. read more

Rooms were nice, bed was comfortable and we liked the pool /hot tub. Overall we really enjoyed our stay however I need to give 3 stars due to safety. We had a knock on the door at 9:30am and before I even had time to go answer the door the woman (who I assume was a housekeeper, there was a language barrier) opened the door with her key and helped herself in. Check out is 11am therefore no one should be entering rooms before then. I could have still been sleeping or in the bathroom etc. Overall we had a good stay but felt uneasy after that situation read more

Nice facility,terrible people skills in Management & Customer Service. My wife & I booked a King Suite for 6 nights & we stayed 3 due to a family emergency home in Los Angeles. I attempted to speak with the Lodge Manager and was brushed off when I requested the desk attendant to refund the 3 nights, his reason was I booked on Expedia. I called Expedia and they granted an exception due to the nature of my emergency, then they called the Lodge and the Lodge still would not refund our money.I placed a call to the District Manager and left 3 voicemails and Did Not receive even a courtesy call back....Maybe you would accept this degree of unprofessionalism. I am following up with Corporate for the principle of the matter, I will update everyone soon..... BEWARE - GOOD LUCK !!! read more
