Nice option, as reasonably priced as you will find so close to the downtown area, but Jackson will always give you a bit of sticker shock, compared to similar properties in other markets in the US. We loved being within walking distance of quite a few restaurants and shops. We were in the main building and the rooms seemed pretty recently furnished and everything was clean and working. Nice hotel close to the elk reserve! Loved the stuffed animal wolves on the bed! We ended up buying them! To take pictures everywhere since my friends and I missed our grandkids & our dogs! Silly fun! The breakfast had a lot options. Good close location to walk to downtown and lots of restaurants nearby. There is a lot of construction on rooms going on at the hotel so expect some noise. Alot of the rooms are outside not connected to the main building in separate buildings. Parking spaces are small and parking lot with big cars is tight. This was honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed at when it comes to the full package. They provided airport shuttle pick up, free deluxe breakfast (better than regular breakfasts from other hotels), pool & hot tub access, daily shuttle service to Jackson Hole Ski Resort (one shuttle at 8am to the resort & one shuttle at 4pm to the hotel), & of course - coffee, tea, water, lemonade, cookies, board games, and information at all times. The hotel is centrally located at about a three minute walk from downtown Jackson and the main square where all the restaurants, bars, & shops are. On top of all this, I was staying here at the same time I proposed to my girlfriend on the mountain and Jesus went out of his way to help decorate the room with roses, champagne, candy, & etc. the day of. Lexington at Jackson Hole was an easy and great stay, especially for families! We were out most of the time exploring Jackson Hole. Parking: Numerous spots available throughout the hotel property. It does get mostly full in the evening, as most places around the area close at 9PM. Breakfast: Daily from 630-930AM. They do alternate the hot items every day or so. It's located above the lobby. You must wear your masks to get service. Service: No maid service during the booked stay. The maids come every now and then in the hall to clean the rooms of those who departed. Front desk service for everything due to COVID-19. Location: It is about 15 minutes from the airport. I like that it's located at the entrance of downtown, which avoids the walking and car traffic located in the heart of downtown. It is walking distance to a lot of restaurants, shops, and attractions. WIFI: It's kind of decent. The WIFI does kick you out after few hours, so you do have to log-in every time you are back in the room. Room: Somewhat outdated rooms but spacious with 2 queen beds and mini kitchen with mini fridge, mini stove, Keurig coffee, and microwave. Bathroom had four full-sized towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap. We did not like the beds much, as they were not as comfy. My room had the street view, so it can be loud in the mornings. Would I come back? Yeah. We enjoyed the free shuttles to/from airport 7AM-9PM daily. Stress-free. read more

I ended up accidentally leaving behind a box of jewelry in my room, and when I called to let them know they had it in the mail that same day. I've stayed here dozens of times and have enjoyed my stay every time. The beds and pillow are comfortable, and I have found the rooms to be very clean. During my last visit we booked a room with murphy's beds so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but the room was huge and the beds were very comfortable. It also had a kitchen and a large bathroom. The breakfast is better than most. The location of this hotel is perfect. Parking anywhere downtown is near impossible, so it's an added bonus that The Rockwell is within walking distance of downtown. read more

A little bit pricey, but a very nice hotel. And to be fair everything in Jackson, Wyoming is pricey. Room was very nice. Had a sitting area with a TV as well as a TV in the bedroom. There was a fireplace in the bedroom that didn't work. They offered to switch us to another room, but we figured we were only there for one night so why bother. Bathroom was very nice and spacious. Sink is outside of the toilet and shower area, which is always appreciated when you're sharing a room. Ceiling fans in both the bedroom and the sitting room. Room was clean. Some construction was going on in the lobby, which was a little inconvenient but not the end of the world. Lots of parking. Great location; close to everything. Free breakfast was very good - included both cold items and hot. We didn't use the free shuttle to the airport because we had a rental car. We looked at the pool and the hot tub, but didn't have time to use either. They appeared to be a little outdated, but relatively clean. read more

Avoid The Rockwell Inn in Jackson -- The former Lexington Hotel is history Review of The Rockwell Inn What a disappointment! For those of you who knew this place as the Lexington Inn, this will be a real let down. Only one lady at the desk was really nice and accommodating -- Wen Fan actually wanted us to be satisfied and helped us with transportation. When we booked, we thought the same standards and good service as the Lexington had would be adhered to and had we known this place went down hill, we would never have booked this place at $373.14 base rate per night. First, they put us into a motel styled, older room which was very small and on the parking lot with lots of noises at all hours of the night. The former Lexington Hotel gave us a nice room, modernized, and a nice view in the main building for the same price but this was years ago when they were the Lexington. The FREE breakfast is nowhere near the quality either. Mass produced pastry not bakery quality like the Lexington had; a large bowl of plain yogurt which nobody prefers to dig into; fake eggs; no fresh cut fruit/berries like the Lexington had, etc. We are not alone in feeling this lack of quality, especially for the price. We talked to a former employee of the Lexington who now works at a much higher quality resort in the area, and she left because she saw the changes coming and how The Rockwell Inn has now changed for the worst. The clientele, in general, has changed too. The Rockwell Inn no longer appeals to many quality-conscious people and it shows. We would have moved elsewhere but it would have been last minute and everything of a better caliber was already full. Very nice hotel in downtown Jackson Hole. The lobby is very cute and welcoming, with a big sign of activities in town and coffee and drinks awaiting. Breakfast very complete, in the top floor from the lobby, while the rooms tend to be located outside the main building. Our room was very comfortable and also got welcomed by another plush animal (to buy, of course, good try, just too expensive in the hotel!). Bed very comfortable and all good. I would have liked not to feel so 'right there on the street', but it was at the same time very practical as we had many bags to carry and the truck was parked just by our door. We were very pleased with our stay at The Lexington. Location is great and everything is within walking distance or available with a shuttle. We rented a car but it ended up being a waste because we only used it 2-3 times for short drives. Our room was in the main building, up just a few stairs from the lobby and also underneath the breakfast area. Breakfast was top notch, and we loved the always accessible drink stand and cookies in the evening. Everyone we encountered was incredibly kind and helpful. Room service came everyday even though the pamphlet we received at check-in said they wouldn't be because of Covid. No complaints at all for us - we would absolutely stay again! read more

My husband & I checked in today. The Lexington is within walking distance to town. Professional, kind & caring reservationist & check in front desk clerk. Our room is priced right & super CLEAN! I am a Clean Freak that brings alcohol & clorox wipes to every hotel to make sure my family & I don't get sick. At most hotels the wipes are super dirty & dark after I wipe but NOT this hotel. The Lexington is so clean that after wiping the entire room I was so surprised to be holding a white & very clean wipe. Very, very conveniently located to many shops and restaurants. The room itself was very roomy. Lots of counter space in the bathroom and a couple of very spacious tables. The bathroom floor was awesome, as it was heated. My only complaints were : 1. The hot tub was broken until our last day there and it would have been nice to have the complete trip since we were there in the winter. 2. Everything is in separate buildings. Our rebuilding then you have a different building that has the laundry, ice machine, lobby(which had the included breakfast and another housed the laundry. It's very inconvenient to have to travel from building to building for your needs. 3. Lastly, the breakfast. We had read so many great reviews about the breakfast and I thought it was just ok. This was just my opinion though. These complaints are nothing that would keep me from staying there again though. I'd definitely recommend it. read more

Arrived for the Rendezvous Festival, which is a busy weekend for the town. Hotel staff was extremely accommodating when I asked if we could switch our King room for a double queen room. Room was clean, spacious, and easily accessible to the parking lot. This made our travels with our 3 1/2 y.o. daughter easy. Parking was tight, but still manageable. Our heater went out in our room, and rather exchange us rooms they repaired and replaced the heater right then. We had a working new heater within an hour of notifying the front desk. read more

This was a last minute trip to Jackson, WY and Grand Teton National Park due to the flooding in Yellowstone. We found the hotel through Expedia and we are glad that we did. The hotel is right in downtown Jackson, just a two minute walk to the town square, restaurants, shopping and only 20 minutes to Grand Teton NP. The room was very comfortable and met our needs. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a great complimentary breakfast in the morning and chocolate chip cookies at night. We would definitely stay here again. read more

Our friend found this place online. We booked 3 rooms and stayed here for 3N. The room is spacious with two queen beds. has microwave and ref and coffeemaker. The room comes with continental breakfast. Follow covid protocols as there are servers asking for your choice of food. They also require masks indoors. There is also ample parking. Mu only complaint is some of the towels are already worn out and due for retirement other than that hat we had a pleasant stay. read more

I'm adding an extra star just for Leah, who is the front desk attendant that carried our bags and booked us a taxi to the airport. She was friendly and kind. We had to leave too early to try the breakfast. There's something strange about Jackson where they take something really cheap, stick a few antlers on it, and charge way too much. The Lexington isn't an exception. It's a below average hotel compared to where I'm from with cramped rooms and no room for luggage. The swimming pool is not a feature. It looks like it could only comfortable hold 6 people. I'm talking like the size of two hot tubs, barely. The AC worked well in our room and it was kept clean. It was on par with other Jackson hotels. I wonder where the locals eat and buy clothes, because the whole surrounding area is overtly for tourists. read more

Hard to beat the location. So close to the main strip and National Elk Refuge, which was a highlight of my trip. Friendly staff. The airport shuttle was a huge bonus. Jeremy and everyone at the front desk gave great recommendations. The rooms are fairly modest and true to the pictures in my opinion. I thought the second floor courtyard room had a more airy feel than the first floor (I asked to be swapped to a second floor room and they nicely obliged). I would request second floor once again the next time I visit. Just note that there is no elevator for these courtyard rooms (I believe there is one in the main building), so second floor means carrying your luggage and walking up and down the steps. The Lexington was redone within a few years so is modern. The location is ideal as it is located on the south entrance road for Grand Teton, 2 blocks south of the Elk Refuge, and 2 blocks north of the Town Square. The premium bedding ensured a good night sleep. The from desk staff was great: Dee Dee worked with us for a ground floor room, Dennis gave advice on dressing for the park weather, and Armando worked with us when we had to cut our trip short for a family emergency. The breakfast staff provided a great breakfast and they were very responsive to keep the breakfast stocked. Plush towels! The Lexi stuffed wolf is a great memento so buy one. read more

Hey it's getting older inside needs some new updating in the rooms... but it was clean at least and if had a coffeemaker a refrigerator and microwave which is amazing. The atmosphere is great when you walk in with the pretty fireplace and coffee waiting they put out cookies etc The one thing that I was ticked about was that the front desk staff didn't inform us about the lovely free breakfast they offer in the mornings... so I roll down to the smell of bacon and they say oh ya it's free upstairs / whattttt??? You can purchase the full size for $15. They are wonderful products. It is nice to not have to buy housekeeping or the front desk Every other day for shampoo and soap -free parking! -ceiling fan in room -real toilet paper and not that scratchy one-ply stuff at many hotels -a real bathroom rug so you don't have to step on the tiny shower mat (mimi towel) that is found at many hotels -extra outlet station you charge multiple products at one time -usb in room -little stuffed dog on bed with note for the children. I don't have any traveling with me but that's a nice touch No breakfast due to Covid. Wish they would have thrown in some pre packaged items like many places are doing but that's okay. It was a great stay. Not sure if all rooms are like this but the people in the next room checked in late and they were super loud or perhaps the walls are thin. I never heard them in the hall, just the room. Not a big deal because I turned on the air on the "constant fan" mode and it drowned those people out. Oh and one of the biggest perks for me personally Was the door separating the room from the living room area which I shut so I didn't see the light from under the door illuminating the guest hallway. I have to sleep in total darkness and often times I have to shove a towel under the door to block out the light but not here. Great stay! I will definitely be back. read more

My daughters and I spent 2 days at this hotel before meeting other family members at the airport for a subsequent family vacation in Yellowstone. The hotel advertises free shuttle service to and from the airport for its guests, which was a selling point for us. Our room was on the bottom floor, which is basically a half basement. It smelled horrible and moldy. We could also clearly hear conversations from rooms above and next to us, although they were speaking at a normal level. Upon leaving, we asked for the shuttle to the airport. There was one run on the schedule for the day. The shuttle driver heard us talking about meeting others at the airport to get a rental car and said that if we were not getting on a plane, we could not use the free shuttle. He would not budge on this even after we had stayed at their hotel for two nights and their "free airport shuttle for guests" is prominent in their (false) advertising. The only positive of our stay was that most of the other staff was friendly and helpful. We will not be staying here again nor recommending to others. There are too many great places that appreciate their guests more than this one. read more

A very nice hotel within a block or two of downtown Jackson. We had a 2 queen suite which had a separate living area. Full-size couch and an upholstered chair in the living room. Bigger than most mini fridge, microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker. A small item but super handy was the charging tower in the living area. In the bedroom there was another tv, plenty of space to lay out your suitcase(s), and the softest sheets I have ever slept on. Really amazing. And each bed had 4 pillows so no arguing over who gets the extra pillow from the closet. Breakfast is included. We didn't expect much but we were pleasantly surprised. All the bakery items were supplied by the bunnery which is a local business. All the items were amazing. There were several hot items: biscuits and gravy, ham and cheese croissants, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, and oatmeal. They also had typical cold items. We were very impressed with the quality and quantity. Unlike many places that let the food run out, the Lexington was refilling the food items right up until breakfast was over. They also have bikes you can borrow to ride around town. We will definitely be back. read more
