Antler Inn is conveniently located on Pearl Avenue, making it super close (walking distance) to Jackson Town Square and the surrounding shops and restaurants. However, just like anything in Jackson Hole, it's definitely pricey. Stayed here for a night. Parking space was not a problem during our stay. There were a lot of people at the office when I checked in. The lady who checked us in was not the friendliest and she talked so fast when she gave the details of the amenities and location of our room. Amenities include a hot tub/heated pool and fitness center. There was no complimentary breakfast but coffee, hot chocolate and some snacks (bananas, pastries like individually packaged brownies, cinnamon slice, marble slice, etc) could be available at the office. The staff said supply can vary. The room was clean. It had a cabin feel and had a real fireplace (which of course we did not have to use at this time of the year). The bathroom and sink were spotless. Toiletries were complete. The bed was comfortable. Overall, the place is decent and location is great. It was expensive; other inns/hotels around cost about the same or even more especially at this time of the year when everyone is going to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. read more

I just stayed at the Antler, a historic hotel this week and I'll be leaving in a day. I will say that the rooms were very clean and tidy. I really love the maid service here. They were so delightful to talk to, kind and friendly! Aside from that, as I said, the rooms were really clean. The bed was very comfortable. I really like the pillows and they also had a bathtub here which is a lot of places do not have. It has old-fashioned motor lodge style. One thing I really liked is you could park anywhere and the parking lot is pretty big and there's parking in the back as well. People were nice for the most part, but unfortunately I did get stuck with teenagers next to me who made a lot of noise and then some other younger guys who did the same thing the next night that was the only thing that sucked, but that's no reflection on the hotel. Unfortunately, the downside is it can be very noisy there. People can sit outside your door on the chairs and make a lot of noise run up and down the hallway slam doors so if you're a light sleeper like me, that's the only downside. However, it's really not the hotel's fault. People are just inconsiderate. I yelled at a lot of people while I was there. Aside from that they were very kind and inside they had coffee, tea and different snacks for people to take as well as forks, spoons and knives to help you out if you were eating in your room and not wasting a bunch of money on restaurants that are just packed to the too expensive and feel like a cattle call. I do think the walls were a little bit thin and you can hear noise so if that's hard for you like it is for me you might consider otherwise but I would say overall it was really nice here and you could literally walk across the street to Pearl bagel another great place I went there a lot for tea. Also close to the Pearl market to get what you might need you are literally right in town so it is going to be noisier anyway but that's the trade for convenience. I do think they have the cheapest rate and I was happy about that. I would definitely stay again. I also love their beautiful hanging flower plant baskets that were getting watered every day. I also love the old dated Wood furniture that is getting old but endearing. Please don't change it for anything. read more

My group stayed here in 2 rooms when making our way back south from yellowstone, visiting Grand Teton. We found the stay pleasantly surprising. It is definitely a more dated motel, but everything was clean and in working order. It was quiet and comfortable. We didn't have any negatives with the stay. Price was extremely reasonable and it's really conveniently located in town. There is a large parking area, and we were able to park right in front of our room for the entire stay. read more

The convenient one next to the bed, didn't work at all. The other hidden behind the TV, was fine. Good thing we brought a power strip with a long cord. Tip #1... bring a power strip with a long cord. My daughter and I booked a room at the Antler Inn. immediately upon arrival a large diesel truck backed into the parking spot in front of our ground floor unit. He left his motor running, allowing diesel fumes to come into our unit. My daughter had to hunt him down to turn off his truck. In addition, the shampoo dispenser was empty, along with the body wash dispenser. But the real reason for our bad rating was the smoke detector started chirping at 3 am. The front office was closed and no one answered the phone. The only other phone number was security and they could do nothing to help. Finally, my daughter climbed onto some furniture and removed the detector from the ceiling. It was still chirping and there was no access to the battery, so she took it outside and around the corner. The next morning I complained and wanted some kind of credit, but one of the ladies refused and told me I had to complain to the manager, I was never provided her contact information. For a complex of this size they should have someone who can be contacted for these types of emergencies. As it was, we barely got any sleep. read more

Considering everything else in the area was significantly more expensive I feel we got a good deal for the accommodations and the proximity to everything downtown. The rooms are a cozy cabin feel, and everything was very clean. They had very comfy beds, and the continental breakfast had some tasty prepackaged pastries that were easy to take on the go. I can't figure out all the good reviews for this place, because this was the dirtiest, noisiest place we stayed on our trip last week, and it was over $300/ night. We got no sleep and bugged out a day earlier than planned. It has a busy 24/7 parking lot, and paper thin walls. The carpeting was terrifying, and the bathroom looked like it had been repaired with mounds of sloppy spackle. There was no soap in the bathroom, and the curtains smelled like old cigarette smoke. The night started off rough, with a truck (who wasn't even staying in the room near us) backing into a parking space that was 24 inches from our front door/AC air intake and idling there like a clueless moron as our room filled with diesel exhaust. We tossed and turned from the noise, despite having earplugs. But the final nail in the coffin was when the smoke detector started beeping because of a low battery at 3 AM. I called the lobby and they said they didn't have any facilities people on staff overnight and couldn't help. We had to climb on furniture to remove the smoke detector. Ended up throwing it around the backside of the building where it wouldn't bother anyone. We retrieved it and brought it to the front desk in the morning, still beeping. read more

The location is perfect if you want to be right downtown Jackson Hole. It's an older hotel. The room was clean. The person greeting me was not very friendly; actually she was downright rude and condescending.. I had used a credit card to hold the room, but I did not intend to use that one to pay. When I arrived, I was informed that the room had already been charged to that card in the morning and there was nothing i could do. I think this should have been disclosed somewhere prior to booking. This is the only time I have had a room charged to my card prior to arrival. Not cool. read more

With that being said, it is centrally located and has comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and hot water. They have inferior shower heads and the "breakfast" is basically an all day carb and sugar fest, but you could surely do worse. read more

We stayed here for 2 nights while exploring Jackson Hole & the Grand Tetons. Great place to stay! The bed linens are clean & the white covers feel like they're laundered often. The beds are very comfortable & the room itself is very spacious. There are 2 doors. One leads to outside and the parking lot, the other door leads to the interior of the hotel hallway. We didn't want them to clean our room and also they said they weren't cleaning daily (due to Covid). But when we got back in after a long day, they had cleaned the room. And I realized that you need to leave the "do not disturb" sign on the hallway door. So FYI. The fridge and microwave are clean and work well. It was nice to have a place to eat take out food, and I was happy to see they had a table & chairs. We got a "Mountain View" room. But honestly, you really have to reach to see the mountain from your window. Because there are low awnings that prevent you from having a view, plus another building right across from you. So, you can see the mountain, if you sit super close to the window and bend down. It's within walking distance to everything, and we had a great time in Jackson over all. Really run down compared to pics from website--do not be deceived. Site pics are clean & crisp and features updated furniture; our room (2 Queens vs 2 Queens) is not as nice. No pictures on wall as well. Above bed lamps might actually be from the 70s and not in a good way. Shower head has a setting for "Niagara" in teal--y'know what I mean? Door has a decent size gap between frame & door that we noticed. We're staying in August, but can only imagine the cold air that gets in during ski season. Fire extinguisher glass is broken & jagged (snagged a shirt on it.) Tons of damage to walls in stairwells and common areas, sets a tone for the place. Checking in was so much smoother than expected. Front desk clerk was very friendly and had me on my was in less than 5 minutes. As for the parking, the clerk was very helpful and told me where to park. Plenty of spaces in the south lot. We were on the second floor which was a pain to lug my suitcase up but I hear this place has been around for awhile and I wouldn't expect them to put in an elevator just for my suitcase. The second floor was perfect as I sitting on the porch writing this review looking at the storm coming in over the mountains. Awesome!! Room was what I expected. Clean and spacious. The location of this motel was extremely convenient as the starting line was just about a block away as was the location for race packet pick-up. The check-in process was nice, friendly, and quick. I was in my room before I knew it. The room had a very appropriate rustic woodsie decor and more importantly everything was clean. The amenities included a mini-fridge and a microwave oven. The price was very reasonable here, and the hotel has all the amenities that you would need. Do not expect anything fancy, for the price, it was very comfortable stay. This place provides ski shuttles to and from Jackson hole resort twice today. The location is great, only two blocks from the center of town, a very short walk away from all the bars and restaurants. There is a very nice indoor hot tub on the first floor, the water temperature is hot, just the way I like it. The rooms are a bit dated, but the bed was reasonably comfortable, and I didn't have trouble sleeping at all. The heater works really well, and the water pressure in the shower is pretty good too. The front lobby of the hotel provides 24 hour hot coffee, hot espresso, hot chocolate, hot tea. They also always have cookies in a glass jar at all times. The hot chocolate machine is a very nice touch. There's also refrigerator, microwave inside the room should you have any leftovers you want to heat up. Also plenty of parking at the hotel, even though we didn't rent a car. Overall very pleasant stay, no issues. I would definitely come back here again. read more

Really quite adequate facilities, friendly front desk, strong wifi, and spacious. The cleanliness was commendable. Extremely close to the fun dining spots in town. Spacious comfy queen size beds. Big plus is that you can open the windows in some rooms (not all rooms though, so if you want open windows, make a special request). A big negative is lack of elevators to the second floor...be prepared to lift heavy weights or specially request a room on the ground floor. Bathrooms were basic but clean. I took a bath and a shower two separate stays. Both were fine. Toiletries on the cheap side, not fine....but this is not a five star place eh? I can't knock them for the bikers that use this place because a gentleman Harley rider gallantly carried my bag up the stairs for me and that was so sweet. He didn't need to, he was just awesome. But the bikers are roaring around a bit and that isn't pleasant noise. The best part is of course, location, location, location. read more

As a Wildland firefighter, only reason I paid 170 a night(with no gov rate) out of my own pocket was so that I could shower for the first time in two weeks and sleep in a bed instead of the ground. Well the water would go from scalding to glacial every 20 seconds during my shower. I'm also 5'8" and the shower head was below my eyes, so I had to do squats to get the water on my head. The last thing is that the housekeeper starting running a vacuum directly over my room at 0536. Noise from other guests is one thing but when the housekeeper wakes me up at 5am. Cmon. I know the response from the hotel is sorry about your stay we home you will come back. Do something to rectify it instead of talking about it. I can't believe my experience. It was terrible. Also could have done without the attitude from the front desk when checking in when I know that I was very polite and smiling. read more

I just checked in to the Antler Inn and I'm very impressed. I've stayed in motels, hotels and I'm very comfortable here. First of all, it's extremely clean. No sticky carpets or dirty bathrooms. The accommodations of the size of the room and beds are perfect for my family of 4. Also, the staff is great and very helpful with recommendations and requests of little things like an extra towel and such. There is a great restaurant/bar across the street with perfect ambiance and the whole town can suit any need. I would give it 5 stars but didn't cause the parking is a little tight but there is room. Another impressive thing was seeing local workers here. I liked that. They must take care of local people for them to stay here. That to me says something. I live pretty far away but will definitely stay here again in the future! read more

I would have given at least 2 stars, but after being woken up several times throughout the night due to the PAPER THIN walls (I'm a heavy sleeper and can sleep through just about everything btw), it's now down to 1 star. The shower head was extremely low and the water would go from scorching hot to ice cold. The place is clean for the most part, except for the occasional permanent stains in the carpet. If you're on a strict budget, and have noise cancelling headphones, then staying here is fine. However if you can spare an extra $20 a night to get a good nights sleep elsewhere, I would. I stayed at the Virginian lodge down the road for $50 more a night the previous night and I regret looking for a cheaper stay. Also, in the other reviews they mention free shuttles to the airport, that is no longer a service they offer. I inquired yesterday about a ride to the airport and they said they do not offer any transportation. read more

This place clearly stopped trying a long time ago. About the breakfast: "oh we didn't get any danishes today. Try tomorrow." The next day: "we don't do that anymore" About entering the small spa area: "we only have one key. Ask one of the guests already in there to let you in." Freshening up the thin coffee in lobby: a worker just using a coffee cup to literally scoop it from one container to the next. No air conditioning in the rooms so you need to prop the door to get air circulation from the parking lot. And more. Honestly at some point I stopped being disappointed and just found it funny. Well it was a great price at $73 bucks which included my dog and was around the corner from town square. Clean and well maintained. However, if the front desk lady said "Please, do not leave your dog unattended" one more freakin' time I was going to scream. Lady, news flash, I will leave my dog unattended and that's that. I purposefully have a dog and not a human bratty baby for this sole purpose. SO THAT I CAN LEAVE IT UNATTENDED. Capiche? You saying it over and over again will not make it so. I do wish I checked the other hotels/motels in the area before I booked here just to get a better idea of what the price ranges are in the area. Room was clean, check-in staff was quick and efficient. Not super friendly, but very polite. They have complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate with nutrigrain bars in the morning and cookies in the afternoon- wasn't expecting this, and appreciated it very much! GREAT location for Jackson. Free, on-site parking. Price was a great value for the area and for the peak season. Workout room was great! Had a nice elliptical and full set of weights. The heater couldn't run all night or else it'd get way too hot. We got a fireplace, but it wouldn't keep a fire. Probably our mistake. One complaint about the fireplace: WOW, It made the room pretty loud on a windy night. Staff was friendly. Only thing that frustrated me was when housekeeping showed up at 8:30AM knocking on the door. I yelled that we were in there. They kept knocking. I yelled that we were busy. Kept knocking. I went to open the door when they finally walked off. I crawled back in bed when they then called and asked if I wanted my room cleaned! So, put out your do not disturb signs if you plan on sleeping in. I've stayed at the buffalo inn and ranch inn for approximately the same price. I probably preferred both of those over this one. We stayed here for two nights on the bottom floor. I would recommend requesting a room on the second floor. The second floor has a balcony with some tables and chairs to enjoy some of the view. We stayed in room 205. At 5 AM we could hear The people above us walking around, for their floor was very squeaky! Coffee, hot chocolate, and tea are available for guests. Clean room. Most of the adventure tours have pickup at the Antler Inn or some place nearby. They provide a free shuttle service to/from Teton Village. The START bus services to Teton Village and other parts of Jackson run through this part of the town. They have the best hot chocolate making machine and it's on the house. It's that unexpected thing you fall in love with at a hotel. Very helpful owners and managers. They answered a lot of our questions and provided maps and discount coupons. read more

I don't need a kitchen, a ton of room, and multiple bedrooms. However I do ask that the place is clean and the items I need are usable and functional. Antler Inn satisfied pretty much all of my requirements, plus the price was great. Their location allowed us to leave our vehicle parked in their lot and walk around the town square to tour and eat. Parking is plentiful and there is coffee/hot chocolate at the front office. I have two complaints. The HVAC unit is very loud and cycles on/off very often. I was there during the winter and it was difficult to sleep every time it turned on. In addition, the heat caused the air to be very dry which made for a slightly uncomfortable sleep. The TV settings are very strange. I can't complain about the size since it is just a motel, but at about 20 inches or so, the actual picture size is significantly smaller. There is a black frame around the picture that is another 3-4 inches around making your viewable television picture that of a 13-15 inch screen. When your "average" household TV is at least 40 inches or larger, it doesn't make for a very nice experience. Of course, as most hotels do, they replace the manufacturer remote with a generic one where you cannot access any of the settings to change the picture/aspect ratio. read more

Stayed there for 2 nights in a standard room. It was nice but the only thing that I can say that needs to be said about the room is that the person that installed the lights over the bed made a serious mistake. The light is 1" from the top of the head board it's stupid they need to move them. If they would just fix that I wouldn't have anything to complain about. Other than that it was great. read more

Extremely happy with the Antler Inn! Currently returning from my 6 day stay and I was really happy we chose this place! If you're looking for luxury look elsewhere this is a rustic, clean, and comfy place perfect for park-goers & adventurers. Upon arrival we were three hours early for check-in, front desk was friendly said it wasn't a problem and handed us our key. Room is decorated to fit the town, extremely clean! The cleaning staff here does a great job! We left them a tip the day of check out even though there wasn't a tip envelope. They came in each day made up beds, emptied the trash, scrubbed the toilet, replaced towels and toiletries. We never ran out of anything. Large space for clothing to be hung and wash area with big mirror. Parking is convenient right outside your door even if you have an upstairs room. Mini fridge, tv, coffee maker all in room. Lighting is basic but wasn't an issue. Located in heart of Jackson hole! We walked to everything! I loved it and look forward to returning next year! read more
