We had an incredible stay at the Rusty Parrot Lodge. Beautifully appointed hotel and rooms. They definitely thought of all the little things like coffee and tea, cookies in the afternoon, spa items in the rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They provided recommendations and assistance. Beautiful restaurant and bar area. Loved the walkability to square for food and shopping. Used their driving service to Teton Village for 1 day and enjoyed it.

Homemade cookies at 4PM and THE best chocolates with their turndown service every night.

Deserves 10 Stars. This family-owned boutique hotel is exceptional in every way. We stayed with them for 8 days this month--4 more than expected due to epic snow. First and foremost--ALL of the staff are so friendly, professional, warm, genuine- I just can't say enough every single person that works here. The restaurant is the best in Jackson Hole, the rooms are lovely with THE most comfortable beds, and as several other reviews have mentioned--the turndown service with THOSE chocolates and the warm cookies at 4PM. Their touches of stellar customer service, quality and comfort are rare these days. We will never stay anywhere else in Jackson Hole and wish that other hotels around the country could emulate The Rusty Parrot Lodge.

One of the very best hotels we have ever stayed at! Service was amazing and close to the downtown area. The rooms are luxurious.

It looks and (almost) feels like what they describe it to be... So we bookended our hiking trip there... the first night we dropped into the restaurant but after being sprayed with cleaner as the hostess washed the table next to us, we wandered away... it was chlorine on my and my girls skin and clothes. When we returned from the wilderness, all we wanted was a quiet evening. Now, Jackson is Disneyland for cowboy LARP participants so that's a tall order as we discovered, but it turns out that our suite was directly below the rooftop bar where that evening there was some sort of event. It sounded like a wrestling match was happening upstairs, with a driving EDM soundtrack that kept getting louder as the evening went on. I went upstairs at 11 to find staff sitting at the bar drinking with the music so loud they had to turn it down to hear me tell them that we were trying to sleep downstairs... someone offered me a drink to compensate for the noise. I went downstairs to find the manager, but was told by the front desk person that the owner herself was the one who had offered me a drink. We have received no communication from the hotel after both of us repeated this chain of events to employees at the front desk. I expect that this is simply how they operate and view it as somehow acceptable. Hopefully if you are looking for a quiet place to stay you'll steer clear. I'm torn writing this since the Valet, Bell, Concierge, and Restaurant staff (barring the hostess) were all lovely and helpful and really deserve to be in a better situation.

My masseuse was very good, but she had what I felt like was a lot of criticism about my posture, my breathing, and more. She paused too much during the actual massage with hot towels. Seemed like way too long I waited for actual hands on massage. She never offered water. She appeared with a clipboard at the end and I didn't even have my glasses to see what I was signing. She was gone like the wind once I paid. I love massages. I get them all the time. She knew what she was doing. She gave a great massage, but it came with some deficiency in bedside manner.

After being in a highly chlorinated hot tub I wanted to rinse off and hydrate my skin with some lotion. None to be found in the men's locker room. I asked one of the massage therapist who happened to be walking by and she said "we don't put lotion in the locker rooms". My response- "you don't provide lotion in a spa locker room"? Her response "nope". She was very rude, snappy and short in her responses. The inside temp of the spa was 88 degrees. We felt like we were suffocating in very hot air. Unfortunately we ended up leaving before our appointments. We did not get a welcoming friendly vibe. Lack of interests in the customer needs. No thank you! I will take my time and money to another spa. In response to Amber- you are correct. We did receive a tour of your spa which was much appreciated and also expected. Your spa men's locker room also lacked correctly sized spa slides. All were size extra small. But after a very brief short tour there was no one left in sight to assist. We couldn't find you Amber to address our concerns regarding the very warm temp of the waiting area, get a WiFi password, and recieve proper products for our visit. While you may claim you are an "intimate" boutique spa. Your service did not provide any level of intimate personal experience. Your employees should have the answers to basic questions/ needs of a spa. Lotion is a basic essential.

The resort's location is ideal for walking into town and touring the city of Jackson and finding great restaurants. The pool was a little cold while we visited, but the hot tub was great. The beds were comfortable and clean, the water was hot and the wifi was fast. In addition, the property has a small fitness facility available with a few free weights and ready cooked hot breakfast every morning. A small perk is that there is water, coffee, tea, cider, etc. 24/7 in the lobby. There is also a small workspace with a couch and fireplace for those needing a break from their roommates. The staff are very friendly, helpful and are ready to offer help when needed. Check in and check out are very quick and efficient.
