An amazing place to vacation but also an amazing place to stay. You share the house with 3 other bedrooms but you get FANTASTIC breakfast made. All of the ladies were great hosts. Will def be sending people here & will return. Also, right in the middle of everything - Tetons, Jackson hole downtown, etc.

We came to Jackson for some skiing and wanted to find a place off the beaten path. We stumbled upon the Sassy Moose Inn and what a gem it was! The decor, including the wooden frames, fireplace, in room bathtub and even the painted birds on the walls were perfect for the occasion! The inn came fully equipped with a hot tub, high speed WiFi and cable TV, so definitely wasn't missing any amenities. More importantly, we loved the host Nataliya, and the fellow guests at the inn. What a friendly environment! The breakfast was filling (and varied every day), which was just what we needed for skiing. We loved chatting with Nataliya (she was super helpful in showing us where to go) and hearing her life story (you should definitely ask and you'll be amazed!) We would definitely come back here again. PS- nothing like home when you come back and see a goose wandering around in the backyard. PPS- for those of you interested in skiing, this is the perfect location to Teton Village. You can either drive 5 min to the Stilson parking lot and take the shuttle in (save the environment!) or drive 10 min into the village and park there.

It was really nice. We would stay there again. We stayed in the new building, which I think they call Broadway. Breakfast is not included. They charge $20/per person which I first through was high until I got used to the town. Jackson is very expensive. Other than getting a breakfast burrito to go from D.O.G. (which is awesome, by the way) you will find $20 to be on par, or cheaper, than any other breakfast you can get in town. Plus, this one is cooked to order and served in the relaxed atmosphere of the Inn. If you need breakfast included there is one other hotel in town in the same price range that offers a buffet, but having stayed at Huff House, Since breakfast may be a sticking point for some, it shouldn't be. Here's why; there are a lot of food options in town. We stayed at Huff House for 4 nights. Had breakfast there once. It was superb. No complaints, but it was also nice to try some of the other places right next door (Cafe Genevieve, Persophone, and D.O.G.). I think you will like the variety PLUS you have a fridge and microwave in your room so you may just have leftovers from last night's dinner you'll want to heat up instead. Options! I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It's great.

Had we not had his helped, we would have ended up somewhere else. We stayed in both the Cody suite and Snake River cabin. LOVED both. The beds were soooo comfortable. Whoever makes their beds, it was like heaven - tucked in nice and neat and super comfy! The rooms were spacious and the Cody suite (our fav!), had a small table/chairs and couch, made it so we could relax and regroup without having to always sit on the bed - perfect! Claire was also an absolute gem! She was always so kind and helpful, very sweet accommodating times and giving great info for the area, places to eat, etc. She made it so we wanted to return! PS - I hope your foot heals soon. Lastly, the cookies. OMG, what a wonderful touch. It was the culinary highlight of our Jackson visit, lol. Something so small that left a great lasting impression. Thanks to both John and Claire, we'd return to Huff House in a heartbeat!

Away from the hustle and bustle but within walking distance. Great spot along the creek. The inn has an old world, warm, grandma's home feel to it. Not bad but not my style. Old carpet and decor that needs a refresh. Service was excellent and couldn't have been nicer. They remember names and are so friendly and caring. Good breakfast to start your day with little snacks to take along with you on your adventure. Homemade cookies were yummy. Heated coffee cups were a nice touch.

The family who run it have been in the industry for 40 years and are passionate about every aspect of the Inn. The feeling when you enter the lobby and dining area is so welcoming and charming! Everyone was so friendly with outstanding service. We stayed in the Harlequin room which the owner told us that Cosmopolitan magazine declared in 2005 that the view from the balcony was the most romantic in the nation. I'd have to agree. We sat out there every night with a glass of wine. The trees rustled slightly in the soft wind, birds chirped happily and the soothing sound of the creek makes for a very enchanting place. Add the incredible view and you don't want to leave. The room was very large, nicely decorated with every amenitie we could ever think of. The owners are remodeling the rooms, so it could be even nicer when you book. The outside of the Inn is so charming and inviting. Book in advance so you have the opportunity to enjoy this truly unique and amazing place. It's a stay I will always remember!

The camp is great though definitely expect rustic accommodations with the exception of the beds, which are (heavenly) real mattresses. The horses and ride were great - very well-mannered horses and a wonderful evening ride through wildflower-filled mountain meadows, creeks, and up and down reasonably challenging terrain. What my daughter (and I) loved most were the people - Sam was a great cook and friendly guide and our other guide Mariah was incredibly patient with my daughter's barrage of questions and let her help put away tack and feed the horses after the ride. A truly memorable Wyoming experience with many great memories.

The trail ride was such an adventure for this Texas girl who's use to riding on flat ground! The fireside dinner was excellent and the beds are comfortable. It's also just down the road from the entrance to Yellowstone so it's easy to make this horseback riding adventure one of the stops on your trip! Staying at the Alpine House is similar to staying in a personal log cabin with all the amenities which include a fireplace and balcony in most rooms. The beds were comfortable and clean, the water was hot and the wifi was fast. In addition, the property has a small fitness facility available with a few free weights and ready cooked hot breakfast every morning. A small perk is that there is water, coffee, tea, cider, etc. 24/7 in the lobby. There is also a small workspace with a couch and fireplace for those needing a break from their roommates. The staff are very friendly, helpful and are ready to offer help when needed. Check in and check out are very quick and efficient. They are well trained and have a good knowledge of the area, offering suggestions to eateries and other local attractions. One of the best features to this property is their proximity to the town. Only three short blocks, one can be in the town square by foot in minutes. Staying in Jackson Hole during one of the coldest months (February) can prove challenging while navigating through the snow/ice covered roads and having a proper hot shower. However, The Alpine House shielded us from these issues with the short stroll to town and the consistent hot water flow from the showers. With great service, beautiful rooms, a short walk to town and a reasonable rate, The Alpine House is the best option while visiting Jackson Hole, WY!
