I loved it so much we extended our stay another night (from two to three nights)... well had I not extended it it would have been 5 stars. However since we had gotten up early the previous morning I'm talking 3 am to drive into park before sunrise, we hoped to sleep in, but I was awoken by a LOT of noise around 6 am. I was so sad as the previous two nights were barely short of perfect. I literally had to go investigate where this loud banging was coming from... it was behind a closed "employee door" and I believe it was laundry and there must have been boots in the dryer or something that was banging every 3 seconds. Cry face. So I guess the walls and ceilings aren't as sound proof as I had originally thought, I also stayed at a time where it was not sold out so that may have helped my first impression. I recommend very much if you are a deep sleeper. I would most likely stay again as well but ask for maybe an end of the hall room away from laundry. Also service was fantastic and the two men we encountered working were soooo friendly and nice and we liked chatting with them. Breakfast I didn't have but hubs said it was a great layout. I definitely should note the Bed and pillows were comfy. It was a softer bed but still supportive and my bed at home is pretty dang firm and I slept great (other than above). West Yellowstone is adorable and don't miss out on the Buffalo bar.

Away from the hustle and bustle but within walking distance. Great spot along the creek. The inn has an old world, warm, grandma's home feel to it. Not bad but not my style. Old carpet and decor that needs a refresh. Service was excellent and couldn't have been nicer. They remember names and are so friendly and caring. Good breakfast to start your day with little snacks to take along with you on your adventure. Homemade cookies were yummy. Heated coffee cups were a nice touch.

The family who run it have been in the industry for 40 years and are passionate about every aspect of the Inn. The feeling when you enter the lobby and dining area is so welcoming and charming! Everyone was so friendly with outstanding service. We stayed in the Harlequin room which the owner told us that Cosmopolitan magazine declared in 2005 that the view from the balcony was the most romantic in the nation. I'd have to agree. We sat out there every night with a glass of wine. The trees rustled slightly in the soft wind, birds chirped happily and the soothing sound of the creek makes for a very enchanting place. Add the incredible view and you don't want to leave. The room was very large, nicely decorated with every amenitie we could ever think of. The owners are remodeling the rooms, so it could be even nicer when you book. The outside of the Inn is so charming and inviting. Book in advance so you have the opportunity to enjoy this truly unique and amazing place. It's a stay I will always remember!

Very nice accommodations. Clean. Well equipped. Friendly and two great hot tubs!…read more It has the Bed & Breakfast Inn feel but with the conveniences and privacy of a modern hotel. It was really nice. We would stay there again. We stayed in the new building, which I think they call Broadway. Breakfast is not included. They charge $20/per person which I first through was high until I got used to the town. Jackson is very expensive. Other than getting a breakfast burrito to go from D.O.G. (which is awesome, by the way) you will find $20 to be on par, or cheaper, than any other breakfast you can get in town. Plus, this one is cooked to order and served in the relaxed atmosphere of the Inn. If you need breakfast included there is one other hotel in town in the same price range that offers a buffet, but having stayed at Huff House, Since breakfast may be a sticking point for some, it shouldn't be. Here's why; there are a lot of food options in town. We stayed at Huff House for 4 nights. Had breakfast there once. It was superb. No complaints, but it was also nice to try some of the other places right next door (Cafe Genevieve, Persophone, and D.O.G.). I think you will like the variety PLUS you have a fridge and microwave in your room so you may just have leftovers from last night's dinner you'll want to heat up instead. Options! I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It's great.

Had we not had his helped, we would have ended up somewhere else. We stayed in both the Cody suite and Snake River cabin. LOVED both. The beds were soooo comfortable. Whoever makes their beds, it was like heaven - tucked in nice and neat and super comfy! The rooms were spacious and the Cody suite (our fav!), had a small table/chairs and couch, made it so we could relax and regroup without having to always sit on the bed - perfect! Claire was also an absolute gem! She was always so kind and helpful, very sweet accommodating times and giving great info for the area, places to eat, etc. She made it so we wanted to return! PS - I hope your foot heals soon. Lastly, the cookies. OMG, what a wonderful touch. It was the culinary highlight of our Jackson visit, lol. Something so small that left a great lasting impression. Thanks to both John and Claire, we'd return to Huff House in a heartbeat!

They are the ONLY horseback riding with permits to enter Tetons and Yellowstone . Other Yellowstone horseback riding is through xantera or whatever the main Yellowstone commercial Company that manages all the hotels/restaurants/staff for general stores, very Disneyland/commercial. Wilderness Trails is family owned, rural, one of a kind. We felt like a family on the prairie. They literally plop horse corrals and tents and cooking station in the middle of grand Tetons and Yellowstone on a meadow/prairie like plot of land. All the staff live there in tents and some campers and so you basically join "their family" and live that life. They had a professional chef that came from a Michilin Star restaurant (he was not technically a Michilin chef) but food was amazing and so well Done! We got to eat with our horse wranglers and the chef and felt like part of their family. They all had their own dog and my kids had so much fun running around with all The doggies:) they had a warm outdoor like shower and you are in the middle of nature bathing amd my daughter said it was the best shower of her life! It was my 7 year olds first time horseback riding and she did just fine! My other kids were 10 and 12-they wanted to "live there" and asked if we could have their bday parties there. Was worth every penny! Wish we planned to stay longer
