This will be the highest recommendation of any business that I have reviewed. Originally booked a whole day tour of Yellowstone through a different operator. The afternoon before we were scheduled, I was texted that they were canceling the next day as they predicted bad weather & possible road closures. The tour co we were on in the Tetons said they were still going but did not have spare seats. Other guests mentioned they had gone out with Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris earlier in week & had good experience. Called immediately upon return to hotel & got booked for next day ! ( So happy as we were scheduled to fly out the day after and this tour was reason for trip. ) Jeff Sanders picked us up promptly & was the best guide ever! We scored with this change of plans. We saw all the major sites - Old Faithful, Artist Point , Grand Prismatic and WILDLIFE! Bison, elk, bald eagles, a couple of grizzly bears and a pack of wolves. Great stuff with an informative guide that was just the most kind individual too. He took great care of us / making sure we got the best views and stayed warm. The lunch & snacks were top level good and I was happy to see they used recyclable packaging. Book with this tour company & consider yourself blessed if you get Jeff Sanders as your guide! A+++

Went on this tour in December 2022. The van ride around the most scenic spots to view wildlife which is guided. The tour drivers with the company relay sightings to each other so they can optimize catching the wildlife for the customers. And plenty of wildlife were seen. Our driver - "Dave" was excellent! He was personable, friendly, knowledgable, patient, and very thorough. A group of friends going on one of these is best - we had 3 couples and had the tour to ourself. The tour is complete with snacks, ice water, and a signature complementary flask. Lots of time to take pictures. This was so worth it!

When we got into the vehicle there were snacks and water which was really nice. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the animals & the sight seeing.. the views are absolutely gorgeous and the animals are so cool. The driver, Kayla, was very knowledgeable, knew a lot about wild life in Jackson Hole, and the surrounding towns. Kayla was very kind, offered to take pictures of us, and was really good at spotting the animals. She spotted a mouse! We were thrilled! For the driver, there are a few things I would improve. Due to kayla having a-lot of knowledge, there were a lot of stories told, which led to very minimal conversation back and forth. It was hard to process the facts because we were jumping from story to story. The last hour and half we were looking for bears but unfortunately couldn't find any. We did see bison more than once which was cool, but towards the last hour and a half the ride felt dragged out and became uninteresting. In the middle of our tour, we did get stuck in the snow for about 30-40 mins. Which wasn't a huge problem because we got to watch a moose! I would recommend this safaris and would definitely go again!

My family recently had Scott as our tour guide for one day in Yellowstone and one day in GTNP and it was amazing! Julie has been super helpful with our arrangements. I highly recommend booking with this company.

What a wonderful experience! My wife and I booked the half day tour and were picked up that morning at our lodge. Our guide Pete was phenomenal. He made sure we had all the comforts we needed, including snacks, drinks, etc. We got to be within a few feet of about 20 Bull Moose, several maturing male Bison and dozens of Big Horn sheep. We also saw waterfowl and a Bald Eagle, which was much bigger than the ones we have back home. Pete was so knowledgeable, he was great at answering all our questions. If you go on this tour I would highly recommend asking for Pete's tour. While you share these experiences on location with other tours and many photographers, Pete took us to a place where we saw the Bison and no one else was around. It was such a humbling experience to be that close to such a magnificent and storied animal and have it all to ourselves.

For my birthday trip to Wyoming, my husband and I booked a full-day, private tour of Yellowstone with Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris. Our tour guide was Dave Green, and he did a fantastic job of being informative and entertaining. Dave picked us up from our hotel at 6:30 am on the dot and we headed off into the Grand Tetons. He had muffins from the don't-miss Persephone's Bakery along with juice and water to keep us satisfied until lunch. I mentioned that I really wanted to see a moose, and he immediately took us to an area where moose were known to hang out. We saw a female moose and her calf (the attached picture is from the next day when my husband and I went back to the same spot and saw a large male moose). I can't begin to describe the incredible beauty of Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, and Dave knew all the best spots for awe-inspiring views and animal sightings. We also made it to Old Faithful in time for its 9:36 am eruption, and, again, Dave knew exactly where we should stand to get the best photos. Spending almost 12 hours in a vehicle with a stranger can sometimes be a bit awkward, but Dave was so pleasant. We immediately liked him and felt comfortable enough to chat and ask any questions we had. He wore a mask at all times around us, and the company policy mandates that all customers wear masks when not eating or drinking. I would highly recommend a private tour with Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris (and definitely one with Dave as your guide) because not only are you in for an amazing day, but you'll also learn about things that will inform the rest of your stay in the Jackson Hole/Yellowstone area.

Big horn sheep

We ended up not skiing and called to schedule this safari. They were able to get us in for the sunset tour that day which was perfect for us. Scott was our guide and he found spots so we saw more animals than expected which was great. Moose, bald eagles, bison, mule deer, elk and big horn sheep. Would do this again!

Bison minutes before our up and close experience!

Peter showed us an unbelievable time, got us to a spot a few minutes early where bison crossed the road directly in front of us. Couldn't ask for a better experience! Employer should Give this man a bonus for today!

Awesome sunrise tour with Scott! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area, we saw tons of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Would recommend!

We did a private tour with Peter and he did not disappoint! We saw elk, bald eagles, mountain goats, moose, and bison. He took us to beautiful vantage points that looked over the grand landscape and shared in our love for photography. In the car he had snack and water and made sure we were happy and comfortable the entire time. Peter was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Thanks so much for the adventure!

Had a great time! Booked a full private day tour, our guide Dave was incredibly knowledgeable, knew the answers to all our questions and gave a lot of fun facts, plus takes really good pictures of us. 10/10 would recommend, and would ask for Dave again.

Brent took us on our half day wildlife safari and it was awesome! He welcomed our group at our hotel at 730 am with water, muffins, and snacks. The van was warm and comfortable. We were each provided a set of binoculars, and asked what we would hope to see. From elk, fox, moose, big horn sheep, and vision we got to see them all, with the added bonus of sage grouse and a few coyotes! Whenever we stopped, Brent would deploy the spotting scope and show us a closer view of the animals, and have a few tips on how to get photos through the scope. I would definitely recommend this company for your wildlife safari trips.

Jeffrey and our van
Mallory T.

Nothing but amazing things to say about Jeffrey, our guide for the full day tour on our Jackson Hole wildlife safari. We booked a full day tour for our party of 6 and Jeffrey was incredibly accommodating, indulging us every time we wanted to stop, even if it meant turning around (which we did several times). We were picked up from our rental house promptly at 7am and were met with a variety of light breakfast foods and OJ. There were also snacks and pre filled reusable water canteens (that you get to keep!) so we stayed properly hydrated and nourished throughout the scenic drive. Being a born and raised Florida girl, I had little expectations of what kind of wild life we would see. I was blown out of the water with the amount of animals we saw and Jeffrey's informative and knowledge dialogue throughout the drive. We saw moose (definitely my favorite), elk, mountain sheep, bald eagles, swans, and bison. Jeffrey also had a handy little spotting scope that he would set up for wildlife that was a little further away. I could literally see the individual hairs on the bison and moose through that thing! Towards the end of the tour, we stopped at a very nice little Mediterranean restaurant, Figs (shoutout to our waiter Michael) I was definitely impressed as it was much more high end than I had expected, and the food was delish! Overall, this was one of my favorite experiences of Jackson and I would 100% recommend not just Jackson Hole wildlife safari, but highly encourage you to request Jeffrey as your guide. The tour itself was beautiful, but he heightened the experience by a landslide. I'd give him a 10/5 if I could.

Bonus points for pickup from and drop-off to our hotel in Jackson. Prior to the tour day, BrushBuck Wildlife Tours called me to confirm my reservation details and answer any questions I had around logistics of the day. Since it was the middle of the winter, we were in a heated van. Our tour guide from today was Ted, and he was awesome. He was friendly, personable, and highly knowledgeable of the flora and fauna of the area. He impressed me by the facts he knew, and he didn't not have an answer for all our questions. He also had a good eye and spotted wildlife off in the distance, and he would genuinely be as excited as we were seeing the animals. We saw coyotes, a wolf, elk, bison, moose, and bighorn sheep. Ted had a magnifying scope that connected to his phone, so he took these amazing closeups of the animals for us and sent the pictures within 24 hours after the tour. I would highly recommend this tour, which was like a fun scavenger hunt in Grand Teton.

I have been on an African safari and this tour brought back some fun memories of that trip. We saw pronghorn antelope, elk, moose and a bear. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and even added a little humor. The backdrop of the Teton Range made it such a memorable morning. If you are visiting the Tetons for the first time, I highly recommend checking out one of these safari tours and get more up close and personal with the park.

For $600-850 a snow mobile, this outfit is greatly missing customer etiquette. We were told to be ready at 6am sharp. We wanted to confirm which side of the hotel pickup was, however neither the 1800 or 307 numbers work. We called repeatedly, text the 307 number, and had no idea if we'd been scammed until the coach showed up at 6:28. Showing up late with no working phone number was shocking for an outfit that demands logistics and communication at 6am. Once the coach showed up, I asked Jeff (guide) if there's any coffee since it's a 1+ hour ride to Yellowstone and coffee shops were not open. Scenic Safari's response? "You can die for an hour in the back." A bit rude, I ignored it. For comparison, the hotel shuttle that runs FOR FREEE has coffee and hot chocolate prepped in the van. No coffee on a $600-800 per person is one thing, but "You can die for an hour in the back," has ZERO customer etiquette. We get in the coach and the man has the lights on full blast over our heads. When asked to dim them since it's pitch black outside and the contrast painful to anyone with migraines, Jeff makes the remark "lights are going off because there's someone sensitive in the back." Zero basic customer etiquette. Just turn the light off. Everyone heard the request. Three strikes before the fist 30 minutes of the trip with 8 hours to go.

My guide like I said was Kyle and from the minute we left the parking lot, to minute we got back it was hard core riding. The parking lot we left was somewhat sunny, but we entered the following areas according to him: Salt River Rand, Wyoming Range, The Greys, River Canyon and Apline Wyoming. Half way through the day we pulled into a real ranch in the middle of nowhere and were treated to a delicious lunch with homemade cookies. We then headed out to some serious boondocking back country riding, unlike anything I have ever experienced in my life. Riding on a base of 20 feet of snow with fresh feet pounding down was the ultimate experience. Our guide kyle let us freestyle for a good 2 hours total off the trails and I was completely spent by the end of it. I flipped my sled once, but Kyle was right there to help me right the sled. I know some people reading this may think this place is too hard core, but they cater to families as well, the inexperienced and the intermediates. He kept saying "This is awesome!" as we drove thru lower Yellowstone (referring to the gaperguide). So, I downloaded the TravelStorys app from the Android Play Store... Instead of having to be stuck on a 12 hour tour in a van with a bunch of strangers stopping and going when the tour guide decides WE WENT AT OUR OWN PACE. Anything and everything you could want to know is given to you as you drive thru the park. Bathroom locations, places to eat, which parking lot is better, where the attractions are, etc. We got to pick and choose where to stop and how long to stay. There's even background information about the different stops! Just like a real tour! THIS IS A GODSEND. Especially in these Covid-19 times. Definitely going to be using this service again!!! Super important to do all your downloading on wifi before heading to a National Park (as most parks have poor cell and 4g). And start the tour right before heading into the park. If you accidentally exit the app, go to the TravelStorys app (give it time to load, you don't need internet service as long as it's been previously downloaded) and simply select your tour again. It took my phone a while to load after I accidentally exited out. I had a mini heart attack cuz I thought I needed internet to restart, but it ends up that I just needed more patience to let the app load.
