Away from the hustle and bustle but within walking distance. Great spot along the creek. The inn has an old world, warm, grandma's home feel to it. Not bad but not my style. Old carpet and decor that needs a refresh. Service was excellent and couldn't have been nicer. They remember names and are so friendly and caring. Good breakfast to start your day with little snacks to take along with you on your adventure. Homemade cookies were yummy. Heated coffee cups were a nice touch.

The family who run it have been in the industry for 40 years and are passionate about every aspect of the Inn. The feeling when you enter the lobby and dining area is so welcoming and charming! Everyone was so friendly with outstanding service. We stayed in the Harlequin room which the owner told us that Cosmopolitan magazine declared in 2005 that the view from the balcony was the most romantic in the nation. I'd have to agree. We sat out there every night with a glass of wine. The trees rustled slightly in the soft wind, birds chirped happily and the soothing sound of the creek makes for a very enchanting place. Add the incredible view and you don't want to leave. The room was very large, nicely decorated with every amenitie we could ever think of. The owners are remodeling the rooms, so it could be even nicer when you book. The outside of the Inn is so charming and inviting. Book in advance so you have the opportunity to enjoy this truly unique and amazing place. It's a stay I will always remember!

Very nice accommodations. Clean. Well equipped. Friendly and two great hot tubs!…read more It has the Bed & Breakfast Inn feel but with the conveniences and privacy of a modern hotel. It was really nice. We would stay there again. We stayed in the new building, which I think they call Broadway. Breakfast is not included. They charge $20/per person which I first through was high until I got used to the town. Jackson is very expensive. Other than getting a breakfast burrito to go from D.O.G. (which is awesome, by the way) you will find $20 to be on par, or cheaper, than any other breakfast you can get in town. Plus, this one is cooked to order and served in the relaxed atmosphere of the Inn. If you need breakfast included there is one other hotel in town in the same price range that offers a buffet, but having stayed at Huff House, Since breakfast may be a sticking point for some, it shouldn't be. Here's why; there are a lot of food options in town. We stayed at Huff House for 4 nights. Had breakfast there once. It was superb. No complaints, but it was also nice to try some of the other places right next door (Cafe Genevieve, Persophone, and D.O.G.). I think you will like the variety PLUS you have a fridge and microwave in your room so you may just have leftovers from last night's dinner you'll want to heat up instead. Options! I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It's great.

Had we not had his helped, we would have ended up somewhere else. We stayed in both the Cody suite and Snake River cabin. LOVED both. The beds were soooo comfortable. Whoever makes their beds, it was like heaven - tucked in nice and neat and super comfy! The rooms were spacious and the Cody suite (our fav!), had a small table/chairs and couch, made it so we could relax and regroup without having to always sit on the bed - perfect! Claire was also an absolute gem! She was always so kind and helpful, very sweet accommodating times and giving great info for the area, places to eat, etc. She made it so we wanted to return! PS - I hope your foot heals soon. Lastly, the cookies. OMG, what a wonderful touch. It was the culinary highlight of our Jackson visit, lol. Something so small that left a great lasting impression. Thanks to both John and Claire, we'd return to Huff House in a heartbeat!

The camp is great though definitely expect rustic accommodations with the exception of the beds, which are (heavenly) real mattresses. The horses and ride were great - very well-mannered horses and a wonderful evening ride through wildflower-filled mountain meadows, creeks, and up and down reasonably challenging terrain. What my daughter (and I) loved most were the people - Sam was a great cook and friendly guide and our other guide Mariah was incredibly patient with my daughter's barrage of questions and let her help put away tack and feed the horses after the ride. A truly memorable Wyoming experience with many great memories.

The trail ride was such an adventure for this Texas girl who's use to riding on flat ground! The fireside dinner was excellent and the beds are comfortable. It was nice not to have to set up a tent once getting to the campground, everything is ready for you! There is a convenience store closeby if you end up needing anything. It's also just down the road from the entrance to Yellowstone so it's easy to make this horseback riding adventure one of the stops on your trip! (cross posting this to Wilderness Trails which is the same location).
