The beds were comfortable and clean, the water was hot and the wifi was fast. In addition, the property has a small fitness facility available with a few free weights and ready cooked hot breakfast every morning. A small perk is that there is water, coffee, tea, cider, etc. 24/7 in the lobby. There is also a small workspace with a couch and fireplace for those needing a break from their roommates. The staff are very friendly, helpful and are ready to offer help when needed. Check in and check out are very quick and efficient. They are well trained and have a good knowledge of the area, offering suggestions to eateries and other local attractions. One of the best features to this property is their proximity to the town. Only three short blocks, one can be in the town square by foot in minutes. Staying in Jackson Hole during one of the coldest months (February) can prove challenging while navigating through the snow/ice covered roads and having a proper hot shower. However, The Alpine House shielded us from these issues with the short stroll to town and the consistent hot water flow from the showers. With great service, beautiful rooms, a short walk to town and a reasonable rate, The Alpine House is the best option while visiting Jackson Hole, WY!

I definitely recommend this place from a family perspective, and jealous that I am no longer 25 or I would have snagged a beer inside. Side note, amazing bbq is for takeaway connected to the lodge. This was my first time staying in an honest to goodness Conestoga wagon, and it was truly luxurious. Not words I ever imagined typing. Pulling into Moose Creek Ranch was not immediately remarkable, but beginning to walk the grounds, I felt the persistent mountain breeze, heard the babbling Trail Creek, and saw the peaceful natural surroundings and well-manicured grounds all commanding my recognition. Then there were the comfortable environs of the ranch buildings, inclusive of the cozy lodge room, a game area, and a spot for breakfast, all with a chill music soundtrack wafting through. The staff were friendly through and through. We took advantage of a trail ride with Biscuit, our wrangler, the morning of the 4th of July, and enjoyed his capable, humorous guidance through a forest trail near the Ranch, capably tailed by Rooster the resident corralling canine. And now back to the Conestoga wagon. These things boasted bunk beds and a king size, with a full bathroom, small sitting area, pre-stocked mini bar with room for your own items, plentiful plugs/USB ports, and a highly capable mini-split AC system. Ridiculous (in a good way)! If the original Westward Ho movement had these things, Manifest Destiny would have hinged on thread-count, and we'd have never made it past Ohio. These things would be the Airstreams of the 1800s. Loved the experience. This might be the experience you needed, even if you didn't know it.

The amenities were perfect containing a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a large counter to manage snacks and beverages. Moreover, the office had additional cider, cocoa, and tea packets for the taking. The bed was large and comfortable. We liked that there were 2 chairs at the table - most places have one chair for 2 people. The view of the elk refuge and mountains from the window was beautiful and sweeping. Rodent in room! We…read morewere scheduled to stay at the Elk Refuge Inn for five nights, however, we had to check out a day early because a rodent was in our room! My sister woke up in the middle of the night because she heard a noise. She discovered a mouse attempting to access a sealed cellophane bag in my suitcase. We also found rodent droppings on one of the bed covers and were unable to sleep during the remainder of the night. The rodent was also observed running around the room in the morning. We immediately packed out suitcases and checked out of our room. We have stayed in many hotels as well as rustic cabins in several other National Park and other remote areas but have never encountered this type of problem. The view from our room was lovely, however, seeing a rodent in the room was ruined our stay. We feel that at least one of the nights should have been comped because of the incident and the fact that we were unable to get any sleep.

There was no complimentary breakfast but coffee, hot chocolate and some snacks (bananas, pastries like individually packaged brownies, cinnamon slice, marble slice, etc) could be available at the office. The staff said supply can vary. The room was clean. It had a cabin feel and had a real fireplace (which of course we did not have to use at this time of the year). The bathroom and sink were spotless. Toiletries were complete. The bed was comfortable. Overall, the place is decent and location is great. It was expensive; other inns/hotels around cost about the same or even more especially at this time of the year when everyone is going to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone.

All I knew about it was that it was located in Grand Teton National Park. Driving to it you realize you're very isolated being that it is located about 20 minutes from Jackson. The cabins are part of a greater operation. They share the grounds with Dornan's Pizza and Pasta, grocery store, wine shop, and gift shop. I'll review each individually in this review. The cabins are duplexes that are grouped together in a small circle and are named. We stayed in Osprey. Each has a small porch with a charcoal grill for your barbecuing pleasure, and an ashtray if that's your thing.The decor is comfortable and inviting. The only part of the cabin that has carpet is the bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, stove, and oven with basic cooking apparatus. The living room has a sofa bed and two very large comfortable chairs. There is also this thing called a telephone, but there isn't a tv. The wifi signal is strong and we were able to stream movies with no issues. The Snake River and Grand Tetons are behind the cabins. The view can be pretty incredible depending on the weather. It rained and snowed most of the time during our stay. If you don't feel like cooking, Dornan's Pizza and Pasta is a short walk. The food is pretty good. I had the vegetarian Stromboli and the Mrs. had a pizza. The restaurant also has a bar. If you want booze, there is a wine shop that has a really good selection of wine, beer, and hard alcohol. The prices are pretty reasonable. FYI-Wyoming is one of those states that has archaic liquor laws. Booze can't mingle with regular groceries. There is also a small grocery store and deli that makes incredible sandwiches. I suggest grabbing a sandwich to take with you when explore Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons. If you need souvenirs, Dornan's has that covered as well. You can even buy gas at a rather reasonable price. As accommodation prices go, Dornan's cabins are lower compared to the rest of the area. You don't get the glitz and glamour that is Jackson Hole, but you get peace and quiet. The staff were all very nice as well.

These cabins are located just outside the south entrance to Grand Teton, in a little village complex that includes a gas station, grocery store, liquor store, and a couple of restaurants. The cabins themselves are very comfortable, definitely an upscale feel, similar to what you'd find at Jenny Lake, but for half the price. One and two bedroom options are available, and each includes a full kitchen, dining table, bathroom, and living room with a pull-out sofa bed. There are only 12 cabins total (8 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom). If you're planning a trip, book early because they sell out fast.

The unit we stayed in had a kitchen, dining room, laundry room, living room, two bathrooms, and a huge master bedroom suite with hot tub and shower. Check ins are handled by the "Snow King Hotel" and their excellent staff. Much of the help is from Eastern Europe, and they are so polite and speak good English too. We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand View Lodge --- it was truly an outstanding value considering the price we paid ($219.00 per night).
