The Aerial Tram entrance is located just above the information center. After passing through the souvenir shop, turn right and you will find The Burger on your left and Sweetwater Gondola on your right. Your ticket for the Aerial Tram also grants you access to Bridger Gondola and Sweetwater Gondola. However, if you are on a tight schedule, I would highly recommend prioritizing the Aerial Tram. The other two gondolas can be skipped if time is limited. I know that the website is super hard to navigate, and I hope the following information are helpful. There are three gondolas at the resort: 1. Bridger Gondola - Takes you to the bike park and a small restaurant. 2. Sweetwater Gondola - Serves the mid-mountain terrain and takes you to Piste Mountain Bistro. 3. Aerial Tram - Brings you to the highest observation point with stunning views, access to hiking trails, and Corbet's Cabin (home of the famous waffles). The promoters were not to be deterred, thankfully, as I spent a lot of money just to get here. Compared to other festivals this one is run exceptionally. There is no heavy handed security people acting like wanna be cops. There presence is there if you need one. All of the staff is friendly, helpful and happy. The crowd is organized well and there is plenty of room for everyone. The only morning competition and run for space is for shaded areas and shade shelter spots. If you want to get close to the performers it's easy to just walk up to the standing area in front of the stage. For such big name acts, the festival crowd is mellow and friendly. At no time did I smell tobacco or witness its use in the standing area, a real rarity! The biggest positive,somewhat surprisingly, is that they don't price gouge now that you are captive. At some festivals the whole town raises their prices just for you. All the prices here were pretty much normal. Some of the food trucks were a bit pricey but not obscene. The sandwiches at the coffee shop were way overpriced but overall the food and beverage scene was good. We had to take the lift to the top in order to see the mountain peaks through the smoke. I'm glad we did, it was fun and spectacular. The lodging was very nice, with a good supply of hot water and a comfortable bed. The sounds travel well through the walls and ceiling so a good nights sleep is not guaranteed. We had an elephant man upstairs who walked about in his room for hours! WHY? Just bring ear plugs, they may help. The room key gets you into the pool area, but the hot tub had too many people in it to try. Did not matter, the air temp was 95 degrees at 6:00 pm. It's a bit of a drive to get here but I think I liked this festival better than Rocky Grass, just because everything is so much easier. If there is another great lineup I'll be here! Billy Strings?

We bare had 6' between us and our neighbors with very little space outside to enjoy. It was like having someone in your site all day. After 10 it did go pretty quiet, so kudos for enforcing quiet hours. Outside of that, because of the proximity to each other, it was a madhouse. That was probably mainly because neighbors had little respect for others. I also, noticed the electric service had reversed polarity at our site. I must say it was a full weekend. Every site was filled. I would come off season where your not subject to sardine stacking. The surrounding area is nice. I would recommend Aspen Grove across the road. Very nice!

Paradise-like setting Friendliest staff…read moreUnique accommodations I've been staying in hotels, Airbnbs, hostels, tents and other traditional lodging for much of my traveling life. This was my first time staying in an honest to goodness Conestoga wagon, and it was truly luxurious. Not words I ever imagined typing. Pulling into Moose Creek Ranch was not immediately remarkable, but beginning to walk the grounds, I felt the persistent mountain breeze, heard the babbling Trail Creek, and saw the peaceful natural surroundings and well-manicured grounds all commanding my recognition. Then there were the comfortable environs of the ranch buildings, inclusive of the cozy lodge room, a game area, and a spot for breakfast, all with a chill music soundtrack wafting through. The staff were friendly through and through. We took advantage of a trail ride with Biscuit, our wrangler, the morning of the 4th of July, and enjoyed his capable, humorous guidance through a forest trail near the Ranch, capably tailed by Rooster the resident corralling canine. And now back to the Conestoga wagon. These things boasted bunk beds and a king size, with a full bathroom, small sitting area, pre-stocked mini bar with room for your own items, plentiful plugs/USB ports, and a highly capable mini-split AC system. Ridiculous (in a good way)! If the original Westward Ho movement had these things, Manifest Destiny would have hinged on thread-count, and we'd have never made it past Ohio. These things would be the Airstreams of the 1800s. Loved the experience. This might be the experience you needed, even if you didn't know it.

They were wonderful about helping me get skis and then were attentive and slowed down the lifts for me, so I'd feel comfortable getting on and off the lifts. If you are looking for a nice place to take your family skiing, this is the place. There are ski runs for all abilities. I witnessed many families with young children who were skiing as a family. As a brand new skier, I felt it was important to take some skiing lessons. They matched me with a wonderful instructor, John, who was patient and encouraging. He helped me to believe that I could actually make it down the run. They advertise that there are never wait lines for their lifts, and my husband and I found that to be true. Although there were many people skiing, it is still a smaller ski area where you have room to ski and friendly people to help. Thank you to everyone at White Pines who helped to make our 4 days of skiing a great success. We will certainly be back!
