Great spot to stay there close to the resort and also downtown area. There's a dog park nearby as well. Parking for our spot was a little hard, but we figured it out. Getting to the actual room wasn't horrible to find but took us a walk around to figure out exactly where it was. There was a room downstairs with a little back patio for our dogs to go the the bathroom. We will definitely be back!

We really liked Snow King! Our room was clean and the attendants were all very nice. It was central to everything and family friendly ! I am a harsh critic and don't believe they deserve such a low rating overall. We'd absolutely return !

Un-permitted access and cash stealing. Run away from this hotel if you can! We stayed here 2 nights in 2 rooms for $2500+. During our stay, someone entered our room that has a minor kid without our permission and took our cash. After the fact, we were unable to sleep tight during the night cause we believe we are insecure. We had to leave the second day. This place is a nightmare to stay. Providing a secured space is the bottom line of a hotel industry, let alone service and manners, and they failed it hard. The rooms were not cleaned, the AC remote were broken while the electronics were not plugged in (there no power plugs on the wall in the first place). Tripped to the front desk multiple times and tried to contact the manager. We talked to Damon, Robert, and the manager Matt, but had a hard time communicating. The manager also left in the middle of our conversation impolitely. The manner the manager treated us and looked at us made us feel really uncomfortable. If you want to stay here feeling insecure and keep collecting evidence to protect your rights, this is the place!

If I'm gonna spend hundreds of dollars a night on "resort" accommodations I would expect a much better experience. (Condos) First, the window blinds in the master would not come down. You had to stand on a chair and physically pull the shades down. Second, there was trash in the floor from previous guests. The mini fridge was completely frozen over and not useable. If you want ice, you have to grab a plastic bag or bucket and walk to the main hotel and schlep the ice back. Also, the chairs on the balcony were old desk chairs that are ridiculously uncomfortable. How about some Adirondack chairs and a table? Or patio furniture? The internet was as fast as a dial up connection from 1995. Do yourself a favor and find a cheap place downtown much closer to all the restaurants and activities. I would NOT recommend staying here.

We came to Snow King for our honeymoon back at the beginning of October, and while honestly this is a place for skiing rather than just a getaway, I'll critique this place based on what it is. I'll say up front, skiing- yes; for a place to crash after exploring Jackson and Teton National Park, no. It does have a high price point, and in order to get your moneys worth one need to hang around the area. Our room was really nice, with a fireplace that was both romantic and did a great job of keeping the unit warm. We even dropped down the Murphy bed in the living room instead of sleeping in the master bedroom so we could sleep next to a fire place all night! The bathrooms are first rate, with deep, huge tubs that will fit two ;) The patio views are breath taking, and if you're lucky you'll be able to see the spread between the Tetons and the valley below. It's not uncommon to spot deer out and about on the property! The staff was very courteous and the lodge restaurant has a terrific menu! Perhaps I'm biased, but this place will always hold special memories for Kat and I.

The Aerial Tram entrance is located just above the information center. After passing through the souvenir shop, turn right and you will find The Burger on your left and Sweetwater Gondola on your right. Your ticket for the Aerial Tram also grants you access to Bridger Gondola and Sweetwater Gondola. However, if you are on a tight schedule, I would highly recommend prioritizing the Aerial Tram. The other two gondolas can be skipped if time is limited. I know that the website is super hard to navigate, and I hope the following information are helpful. There are three gondolas at the resort: 1. Bridger Gondola - Takes you to the bike park and a small restaurant. 2. Sweetwater Gondola - Serves the mid-mountain terrain and takes you to Piste Mountain Bistro. 3. Aerial Tram - Brings you to the highest observation point with stunning views, access to hiking trails, and Corbet's Cabin (home of the famous waffles). Corbet's Cabin and Piste Mountain Bistro will be reviewed separately in upcoming posts

If you have any type of issue, just know the managers are too lazy to do their job and put it on the poor employees up front to deal with with problems that isn't even their job to start. There was constant miscommunication with every employee we interacted with and the manager was well aware of what was going on and refused to even help. What's the point of your job then? We made well aware we were not experts and were beginner snowboarders. Not a single employee made us aware that the beginner slopes were closed. We were never given any advice on what to do and where to go. We get to one of the lifts and when asking the employee if it was the expert slope, he said "it's not too bad." It wasn't until we got off the lift, when we realized it wasn't the case. A different (only helpful employee in this situation) immediately came to help. When explaining we were beginners, he shared that we never should've been sent up there. After explaining the situation, the people inside mentioned they were unaware that the beginner slopes were closed. Due to the miscommunication (on their part) and the fact that our safety was at risk, we rightfully asked for a refund. Mind you, we didn't even get to experience anything of what we paid for. We immediately went back down at the recommendation of the helpful employee on the slope. Management refused to speak with us and refused a refund. Also, all of a sudden once a refund was mentioned, they were ready to offer alternatives for beginners. First of all, where was this in the beginning? Second, by this time the way the situation was already being handled, we were over it and had zero interest in returning. While I don't fully fault all the employees that attempted to help with the options they were given, I put full blame on management. There needs to be cohesive communication across all employees to prevent situations like this. And as a former customer service facing manager, I am absolutely floored by the unprofessionalism from the manager on duty on February 2, 2026. She was well aware of everything but not once did she come out of her office to apologize or offer any kind of assistance. Absolutely ridiculous, insulting to our time, energy and money.

Since we did not…read morerent a car we figured this would be a great way to get to the Grand Targhee Ski Resort for a day filled with skiing. We were picked up by a cab from our hotel at 7:30am. The cab then took us to a bus car park in Jackson so that we could load the bus, with other skiers, that would be taking us from there to the ski resort. The ride was beautiful and our bus driver was very knowable about the area. When we arrived at Targhee our bus driver explained where lockers were, where we could eat lunch and gave us other insight about the ski resort. He let us know we could leave anything in the bus, the bus would we parked there all day. He told us to meet back at the bus at 4:00 for a 4:15 departure. The ride home was also beautiful, the bus driver even pulled over so we could take pictures of the sun setting on the Grand Tetons. Now for why this service is receiving 4 stars instead of 5: Just as in the morning, we went back to the car park. The bus driver let us know that our taxi, that would be taking us back to our hotel, had not arrived yet, but ensured us that the taxi was on its way and would be there in a matter of minutes. We were let off the bus, with our skis, and left in the cold in a parking lot to wait for our (soon arriving) taxi. Twenty minutes later, we were still in the cold, waiting on our taxi. This had to have been some sort of miscommunication on the companies part. Eventually we were picked up and taken back to our hotel. I would use this service again. Next time I would make the bus driver wait for our taxi with us.
