While the property is beautiful, the lack of care for their guests most basic needs is abysmal and absolutely embarrassing for a Marriott property. The check-in process took entirely too long and the staff was unfriendly from the moment we walked in, this should have been our first clue as to how this stay was to go. When we arrived to our room the room was very clean, except for a large stain on the carpet, which we found strange considering they had just done a remodel. Upon going for a shower, we discovered the shower curtain had been installed wrong as the vinyl cover was on the outside. When grabbing a towel from the shelf below the sink, the shelf fell down knocking the towels to the floor. This is also when we discovered there was not a hair dryer in the room. We tried to call down to the front desk - The phone didn't work. So with a wet head, we headed down to the front desk to ask for a hairdryer. We were informed that house keeping would bring one up to the room. An hour goes by and nothing. We go back down to the front desk as we had an event to attend on a time crunch and again, a simple request was met with attitude and we were told that "the head of house keeping would get one to us soon". Well. Soon was never. Thankfully, a friend was staying at the hotel and we ended up borrowing theirs. As of our checkout time, no hairdryer was ever brought up to us. Every interaction with the front desk staff, especially Cameron, was met with attitude. They would constantly stare at their computers and offered no explanation or help for our most basic needs as guests. We were also told there was "not a manager on duty" several times when trying to resolve these issues. Having traveled around the country for work on a weekly basis, I have had better customer service from budget chain hotels. The final and most perfect straw was the fact that they advertised a free airport shuttle online to their guests. The evening before our flight we confirmed our pickup time at 4PM, and at 11PM we received a text from the front desk stating that they "didn't have a driver". No apology. Nothing offered to help us. When we went down to speak with the staff, they told us "well I guess you could take a bus or something". There's that Trailborn hospitality. The only people who treated us with any kindness was the morning breakfast buffet staff, bartender at Old Timer, and the house keepers. TDLR; take your business elsewhere. This hotel and their dismissive staff do not care about you or making your stay a pleasant one.

The Aerial Tram entrance is located just above the information center. After passing through the souvenir shop, turn right and you will find The Burger on your left and Sweetwater Gondola on your right. Your ticket for the Aerial Tram also grants you access to Bridger Gondola and Sweetwater Gondola. However, if you are on a tight schedule, I would highly recommend prioritizing the Aerial Tram. The other two gondolas can be skipped if time is limited. I know that the website is super hard to navigate, and I hope the following information are helpful. There are three gondolas at the resort: 1. Bridger Gondola - Takes you to the bike park and a small restaurant. 2. Sweetwater Gondola - Serves the mid-mountain terrain and takes you to Piste Mountain Bistro. 3. Aerial Tram - Brings you to the highest observation point with stunning views, access to hiking trails, and Corbet's Cabin (home of the famous waffles). Rex, Connor, Hailey, and Ella were amazing while seeing to all of our family needs as well as delivering and serving up some of the best food ever! Our eight grandchildren have not stopped talking about the farm animals and gathering the eggs each morning. We are counting the days for our return. Lots of history and our caretaker onsite took care of our needs. Loved the animals on the property! The family had fires every night and a big fire pit outside in a tepee. We comfortably slept 20 and bedding was very comfortable. Master bedroom is spectacular with incredible view of the Grand Tetons. If you have a special vacation you'll love this home!

Definitley one of our favorite hotels ever…read more First impression was very warm and inviting, the lobby is beautiful and the staff is ultra professional. Unfortuntely, we were not pleased with the room they gave us (right next to the noisy front desk, view of the parking lot), so I requested something better (it was our 30th anniversary, after all) and they obliged, which went a long way with us. And everything was a huge thumbs up from that point on! The room itself spoke strongly to our aesthetics - dark wood, cozy, cabin-like feel, but with all the amenities of an upscale apartment, including a comfortable bed with cushioned headboard, well-stocked kitchen, full-size refrigerator, pod coffee machine, WiFi, two large screen TVs. And we had a great view off the patio/deck. There was no run-down furniture or bad carpet or imperfections in the wood or curtains. Everything was pristine clean, including the outdoor chairs and table. And everything worked perfectly and intuitively - lights, plugs, fireplace, shower (with great water pressure!), stove, small kitchen appliances, and a refrigerator that was super cold when we arrived. It might seem like these are all obvious things. But we have stayed in so many hotels, some quite expensive, that had all sorts of little things that didn't work right, were dirty or worn, or were difficult to figure out. Those little annoyances added up to big disappointments. The fact that everything was functional, clean, and easy here was a fantastic relief. Side note on the room: our one complaint was the pillows. Standard "bulk buy" flat flat flat hotel pillows. This is such a ubiquitous thing (the one and only exception I've ever experienced in the US was the Lotte Towers in NYC) that I can't really let it affect my review, but I did find it a little disappointing that they don't spring for better pillows. Service was wonderful. They sent up sweets and drinks on two different nights, as anniversary gifts. The doorman happily brought up our load of luggage, with door to door service. Front desk was always helpful and friendly - the with directions and recommendations and they sent up slippers since we forgot to bring any kind of slip ons to go to the pool. In the lobby, coffee is available in the mornings, fruit and water in the afternoons, and dessert every night from 7:30 to 9:30. We spent one late afternoon at the indoor pool and jacuzzi at the spa, and then made our way up to the 4th floor hot tub with mountain views. So beautiful and relaxing. We also visited Spur, which we did not enjoy, but I reviewed them separately and do not feel that should carry over into the hotel review. No question we will come back here when we visit the Tetons again!

While flying down the mountain we saw the Cowboy Coaster and thought "we have to try that!". It was so fun, BUT holding down the bars so you can actually go was much harder than the alpine slides, my hands hurt! I have no idea how a kid would be able to do that on their own. Also, unlike the alpine slide the coaster auto brakes around turns and at random times so you cannot go as fast as you want - like the alpine slides. We had so much fun and are glad we tried it, but would skip it and do the alpine slides twice if we did it again.

They had a computer in use that we were able to print our 4th graders national park pass before going into grand Tetons. Parking was plentiful. They had fresh cookies at night! The only thing I wish they had was some kind of fitness center or associated location. They recommended the Teton rec center across the street, it was $15 for a day pass. The location of this hotel was amazing, within walking distance of everything.

This is a great service that was suggested to us by our hotel in Jackson Hole. Since we did not…read morerent a car we figured this would be a great way to get to the Grand Targhee Ski Resort for a day filled with skiing. We were picked up by a cab from our hotel at 7:30am. The cab then took us to a bus car park in Jackson so that we could load the bus, with other skiers, that would be taking us from there to the ski resort. The ride was beautiful and our bus driver was very knowable about the area. When we arrived at Targhee our bus driver explained where lockers were, where we could eat lunch and gave us other insight about the ski resort. He let us know we could leave anything in the bus, the bus would we parked there all day. He told us to meet back at the bus at 4:00 for a 4:15 departure. The ride home was also beautiful, the bus driver even pulled over so we could take pictures of the sun setting on the Grand Tetons. Now for why this service is receiving 4 stars instead of 5: Just as in the morning, we went back to the car park. The bus driver let us know that our taxi, that would be taking us back to our hotel, had not arrived yet, but ensured us that the taxi was on its way and would be there in a matter of minutes. We were let off the bus, with our skis, and left in the cold in a parking lot to wait for our (soon arriving) taxi. Twenty minutes later, we were still in the cold, waiting on our taxi. This had to have been some sort of miscommunication on the companies part. Eventually we were picked up and taken back to our hotel. I would use this service again. Next time I would make the bus driver wait for our taxi with us.
