Get ready to take out a small loan if you want to take the family. At $35 per person for the mountain coaster, you're close to $150 after tax for a family of 4. Best bet is to get an unlimited pass, which starts at $150/person because once you go on the mountain coaster once, you're going to want to go on it again. The alpine slide is kind of rickety. Some of the sled-things are older than others and are held together by wire. The ropes course and zip line looked fun, as did the maze. read more

Most unprofessional management I have ever experienced in my life. I would never ever recommend anyone come here. If you have any type of issue, just know the managers are too lazy to do their job and put it on the poor employees up front to deal with with problems that isn't even their job to start. There was constant miscommunication with every employee we interacted with and the manager was well aware of what was going on and refused to even help. What's the point of your job then? We made well aware we were not experts and were beginner snowboarders. Not a single employee made us aware that the beginner slopes were closed. We were never given any advice on what to do and where to go. We get to one of the lifts and when asking the employee if it was the expert slope, he said "it's not too bad." It wasn't until we got off the lift, when we realized it wasn't the case. A different (only helpful employee in this situation) immediately came to help. When explaining we were beginners, he shared that we never should've been sent up there. After explaining the situation, the people inside mentioned they were unaware that the beginner slopes were closed. Due to the miscommunication (on their part) and the fact that our safety was at risk, we rightfully asked for a refund. Mind you, we didn't even get to experience anything of what we paid for. We immediately went back down at the recommendation of the helpful employee on the slope. Management refused to speak with us and refused a refund. Also, all of a sudden once a refund was mentioned, they were ready to offer alternatives for beginners. First of all, where was this in the beginning? Second, by this time the way the situation was already being handled, we were over it and had zero interest in returning. While I don't fully fault all the employees that attempted to help with the options they were given, I put full blame on management. There needs to be cohesive communication across all employees to prevent situations like this. And as a former customer service facing manager, I am absolutely floored by the unprofessionalism from the manager on duty on February 2, 2026. She was well aware of everything but not once did she come out of her office to apologize or offer any kind of assistance. Absolutely ridiculous, insulting to our time, energy and money. read more

Took the Gondola to the top of the mountain and I'm glad I did. I don't think I've ever been on top of a mountain before per se but this was a pretty cool experience. The gondola ride is operated by Snow King resorts, my only complaint is that I kept finding conflicting information on the hours in which the gondola operated. Even on the website I saw information that said it operated until 5:00 pm but then when I went to buy tickets in person I was told that tickets bought after 5 pm was $15. So hours of operation could be more clear, I came around 3 pm and did not feel like waiting 2 hours to get the discounted tickets. So, I paid a total of $35. The carts just move in a constant loop around the mountain. Once you pay for your ticket you'll get a receipt you'll have to use it to scan into the gate to get onto the ride. The carts aren't heated but I found them to be a decent size. The ride to the top is less than 10 mins- probably closer to 7- 8 mins. Once to the top there's different trails you can walk. I decided to stay close to the gondola because I was by myself and I had no bear/ pepper spray!! Despite not wondering off too far I still found great solace on the mountain and the views were amazing. I think it was a $35 well spent, would definitely do it again! read more

We visited here in 2025 and 2026. The cowboy coaster was popular with our family. However, check out the length of the lines before purchasing tickets. There seem to be some problem with the equipment, and they were running fewer coasters in 2026 then in 2025. The lines became quite long and were difficult for small children to wait. Tickets sellers really should have advised people as they purchased. The Alpine slide was also popular with our family in the lines were not so long. And there are other things to do. read more

Came in the summer. Cowboy coaster closed, alpine slide down to 1 lane which makes longer than normal waits.... Oh and then someone's shoe falls off on alpine slide... 1 hour wait and still waiting for alpine slide. Kids are miserable and unhappy. For the price with all the problems and all the non-working things it's not worth it. The maze is fun and the mini golf was good and better shape than most other mini golf places. I had a snack at the Summit Cafe at the Aurora restaurant. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant. It was just ok. It wasn't really anything to write home about. I bet it would be really good after a long day of skiing or hiking up the mountains. The girls at the window were friendly. I also got a cold brew. It was kind of weak and not super strong. I was expecting it to be a little stronger. I thought the Summit Cafe was just alright probably not something I would go back to. read more

We spent a full day at Snow King Mountain this summer and my boys, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It definitely wasn't cheap but if you're there all day and doing all of the activities it's definitely worth it. The Apline Slide and Cowboy Coaster were the favorites and I can't even count how many times we rode on them. The whole staff was super friendly and helpful all day long as well. My oldest son and I did the zipline and it was awesome! Maliah, Barrett and Madalyn were our guides. They were super informative and made sure we were safe and comfortable the whole way. The long zipline at the top of the mountain was pretty epic. I've done a wide variety of ziplines but have never done one so long and picturesque. Snow Mountain is a great spot for kids and adults alike. read more

First things first, i love this mountain I am a season pass holder i pay good money to snow board here, but i do not like the fact the ski patrol woman I dealt with today. I went down a run that was open, had no recognition or signage that it was closed. The zip line experience was wild and worth every penny. We had 3 guides that taught us and made sure we didn't make the news. Shelby was the boss and I am glad she was at the top of every line because the last one was very intimidating, but her calm and professional demeanor was soothing. She has done this 1000 times and it showed which gave me a bit of courage. Barrett and Madison unhooked us at the bottom and were great too. You do a practice line to get used to the commands and the machine. Then you do the 2nd line which is fun on its own but also gets you ready for the steep drop. Last line is at the top of the mountain. From the perch you can see the entire town of Jackson and the tetons. Incredible view. Then you drop down the line, two at a time, and go very fast for 50 or so seconds down the side of the mountain. I did it on my last full day with my mom and siblings and it was the most fun minute of the trip. You are really cruising and the views are amazing. Only downside is that I wish I brought a sports 'cup'. It took me a good 20 seconds to adjust to a spot where I wasn't going to rupture something. Highly recommend. read more

Wow, what a super cool venue. Views from here are the best in the world. You never gonna find a venue with better views. Toughest thing is getting down the mountain when everybody else wants to get down I guess that's why you buy VIP tickets but super fun if you can chill afterwards chill late all good just go hang out love the mountain experience. read more

For $65 we were able to go on cowboy coaster x1 hr and tubing for 1 hr. The location of this resort is 5 min from Jackson hole town. We came Jan 8 and it wasn't crowded at all with zero lines. Tubing and coaster was super fun. My kids 9 and 11 had a blast! Highly recommend. read more

Sadly the zip line tour, which was included in the very expensive day pass we purchased, was delayed indefinitely for lightening in the distance. The tour began late, as the crew was waiting on late arrivals, and as we approached the first zip line, the weather delay came. We were already 45 minutes into the two hour tour, and clearly we were not going to finish anywhere near two hours. My group had non-cancellable dinner reservations, so we weren't able to stand around and wait indefinitely. Strangely, the very rude guest services gal refused any refund. So odd since clearly the event was indefinitely delayed. Are folks expected to simply cancel the rest of their day? We leave tomorrow so rescheduling is not an option. I will simply file a charge back with my credit card company and get a full refund, but super odd to have to do that. Not a great way to do business. read more

We arrived at Snow King Mountain around 6 PM and were told that everything was open and in service except the restaurant despite the large sign 'Closed for Private Event'. However, once up, we quickly discovered that the entire area was closed for a private event--something we were not informed about when purchasing tickets despite explicitly asking. The staff member at the ticket booth seemed unaware and unprepared, with no way to contact a manager or provide guidance on what to do in this situation. I had specifically asked about the planetarium and was assured it was open, only to find it closed as well. When I asked about a voucher for next day or some kind of resolution, there was no effort made to fix the issue. Very disappointing customer service for what could have been a great experience. My wife and I did the zip line while on our honeymoon. We had great guides, Malia,Madelyn,and Barrett. They made the experience welcoming and kept it running smooth. We wish there would be more information about the process and how long it takes. We booked ahead and were told to arrive 45 minutes early. It took 10 minutes to get where we needed to be from the parking lot. We proceeded to wait 35 minutes for the scheduled time of the event without doing anything. Someone walked up right at 1:30 when we were supposed to start and it didn't affect anything. Showing up 45 minutes early is unnecessary, 20 minutes seems more reasonable. We arrived at 12:45 and didn't leave until 3:45. Over all great views and a fun ride. read more

Highly recommend Walter Wunderly for a ski instructor. He was fantastic with my two boys, age 8 & 12. It was a first experience for them, and he walked them through it from the first five minutes--with putting on helmets properly and how to walk in the snow in ski boots! He incorporated their interests in the lessons (Harry Potter, basketball, snare drum), which made it all the more fun for them. He also sent me video clips of their progress (with my advance permission), which was fun to see and share. By the end of their week together, my boys were competent beginning skiers and eager to hit the slopes again! read more

This is a nice place, a bit pricey for kids activities when you look at the a-la-carte pricing per experience, but I don't know the market value of entertainment in the area compared to what amusement parks and other places may charge. All I can say is... it does add up, and they do have "all access" day passes as an option to not worry about paying over and over for your kid(s) to continue playing, resulting in a huge bill. Hard to access any place with a view, the hut with the nice view is shuttered and all you hear is banging and heavy equipment. Took a trip to the top of the mountain on the gondola during summer. The ride itself was short and the views were nice. However, the listed price online of $30 per person was already expensive and ended up being $35 once we showed up to pay at the gondola. On top of that you had to fill in personal information and sign a waiver online. All in all a lot of effort and money for a 4 minute gondola ride each way. It was fun to do once, but I would not do it again or recommend this to anyone. read more

Gondola Ride. I called the day before and was told they are building a restaurant at the top, however, the Panorama House offers a warm place to enjoy the views and has coffee and hot chocolate, along with some grab and go food. The panorama house was shuttered and appears to be closed for the season. The $60 (for 2) was not worth the ride to the top. There were no signs, or any shelter to get out of the wind. We are from a cold, snowy climate so were dressed for it, and thought the view was nice, but not $60 worth when we were told there was a place at the top to enjoy. Also, if you do choose to take the ride, buy your tickets online and save $5/person and then all you have to do is show them the email at the window and they will print the passes. read more

The bad reviews are all true. The customer service here is horrible and no one really cares about if the resort makes money. The website says they close at 6pm and to double check I called the resort. I called over and over and no one ever answers. So we decided to drive there to double check. When we arrived at the ticket counter, the guy said they close in 10 minutes at 5pm and I asked that since the coaster I wanted to go on was a few steps away, if I could still by tickets. He proceeds to look at his watch and says "we stop selling tickets right now." I guess he could have just had more tact. However, it seemed like he didn't want to sell us the tickets and he arbitrary set a time to stop selling tickets. read more
