Ham and Cheese Croissant
Will W.

I had a snack at the Summit Cafe at the Aurora restaurant. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant. It was just ok. It wasn't really anything to write home about. I bet it would be really good after a long day of skiing or hiking up the mountains. The girls at the window were friendly. I also got a cold brew. It was kind of weak and not super strong. I was expecting it to be a little stronger. I thought the Summit Cafe was just alright probably not something I would go back to.

The gondola takes you to the top of the mountain, offering scenic views and access to the Aurora Summit Restaurant. Tickets cost around $35 per person, and we bought them at the gate. While the ride is enjoyable, there is not much to do at the summit beyond the views and dining. If you are visiting Snow King, you will likely have a better experience enjoying the rest of the resort's activities at the base.

Wow, what a super cool venue. Views from here are the best in the world. You never gonna find a venue with better views. Toughest thing is getting down the mountain when everybody else wants to get down I guess that's why you buy VIP tickets but super fun if you can chill afterwards chill late all good just go hang out love the mountain experience.

For $65 we were able to go on cowboy coaster x1 hr and tubing for 1 hr. The location of this resort is 5 min from Jackson hole town. We came Jan 8 and it wasn't crowded at all with zero lines. Tubing and coaster was super fun. My kids 9 and 11 had a blast! Highly recommend.

My husband ziplined here while I rode up and down in the gondola. He had a blast, the guides gave a good instructional talk before we went up. Kept everyone safe when zipping down the steepest course in the USA

View from the top of the Zipline area!

My wife and I did the zip line while on our honeymoon. We had great guides, Malia,Madelyn, and Barrett. They made the experience welcoming and kept it running smooth. We wish there would be more information about the process and how long it takes. We booked ahead and were told to arrive 45 minutes early. It took 10 minutes to get where we needed to be from the parking lot. We proceeded to wait 35 minutes for the scheduled time of the event without doing anything. Someone walked up right at 1:30 when we were supposed to start and it didn't affect anything. Showing up 45 minutes early is unnecessary, 20 minutes seems more reasonable. We arrived at 12:45 and didn't leave until 3:45. Over all great views and a fun ride.

This is a nice place, a bit pricey for kids activities when you look at the a-la-carte pricing per experience, but I don't know the market value of entertainment in the area compared to what amusement parks and other places may charge. All I can say is... it does add up, and they do have "all access" day passes as an option to not worry about paying over and over for your kid(s) to continue playing, resulting in a huge bill. I'd recommend visiting and checking it out if in the area.

Pass costs more than Disney world. Tourist trap. Just know that going in. Coaster was fine.

Our kids had fun, but I was less than satisfied with the staff, especially on the coaster ride, flaky, non-interested in their job.

The Apline Slide and Cowboy Coaster were the favorites and I can't even count how many times we rode on them.

Jackson Hole Sports helped make my most recent ski vacation to Wyoming a memorable one. I'm…read morerelatively new to the sport but knew from a past trip that rentals were not the way to go if I wanted to enjoy my week of skiing. The team here was able to squeeze me in last minute for a bootfitting (I had an appointment earlier at another store in Teton Village who told me they didn't have the brands that would fit my feet). And after about 1 hour of heating the boot and molding it to accommodate my navicular, Will had set me up with an awesome pair of Salomon BOA ski boots that are arguably the best-fitting shoes I own. What a delight these boots were on the slopes last week: Zero foot pain. Will even made great sock recommendations that ensured dryness and comfort. I couldn't be happier with my new ski boots, and it was all thanks to Will. Next, I needed new ski goggles, and Ali at the front was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. She recognized that a low bridge fit might be more suitable for my face. Ali definitely came through, and these made a huge difference last week with the snow storms, as the ability to easily swap out lenses magnetically on my Smith goggles ensured the best visibility. I was so impressed with the team here at JHS and made a few more trips back to the shop throughout my week in Jackson Hole. Everyone there was incredibly professional providing great service, and the store stocks the best brands and the quality of their goods was world-class.

I needed some shoes and this place was recommended by a different store that didn't have the…read moreselection I was looking for. Luckily, for me, I didn't have to shop any more after this because JD High Country Outfitters had a large selection of women's shoes and I found two pairs I actually liked a lot. I thought the pricing was fair for the area and the high end nature of the shoes. I bought a pair of Sorrel waterproof sneakers for $120. They were marked up about $35 more than Sorrel's website which is about normal for retailers like this. The only real problem I had was with the service here. I tried my best to not get mad but I was fuming by the end of this experience. I'll try to give them some grace and say that maybe I wasn't forward enough in pushing other people out of the way to get them to bring me shoes from downstairs but a place with great customer service wouldn't need that. I also can say well, they were young men, who didn't seem to care about their jobs but again, why work here if you don't want to help people.

Well, what can I say more about JD High Country Outfitters!!!…read moreI was walking around Jackson, trying not to buy anything which I did a great job of and not even eating in the restaurants. I really saved a lot of money keeping it simple because I only came here to camp, fish and hike anyway. But when I saw JD high country outfitters, I had to walk in because I love stores that cater to the hiking, fishing, camping outdoors supplies. As soon as I walked in the young man behind the counter was very smart. He said hey we're having a half off sale on socks. And I was looking for sox specifically. I passed so many stores in Jackson that had little cheap souvenir socks all charging around the same price $12-$14 and the really good socks were more but not that special and all the same . When I walked in here, they had the wonderful brand that I bought before which is a good hiking brand, thick well-made socks made in the USA thank goodness and they were HALF PRICE!!! I proceeded to buy eight pairs of socks. It was totally worth it. I couldn't believe I was so lucky to find them. I will be stocked up forever with good quality socks. In the winter, I wear pure wool socks that I knit myself but the rest of the year and for hiking, I use good well-made quality hiking socks, which they had. I also want to mention that the store was stocked. It was in excellent condition and they had high end items, beautiful items that I buy here and there as I can afford them, but so worth it. Upstairs, they had a whole gun store with ammunition, binoculars, knives and fishing rods, and all sorts of fishing and hunting supply. Downstairs they had your typical camp and hike items. They even had a rack of Patagonia jackets on sale which I could not believe. I just knew I could not buy more stuff right now. And I had two jackets But they had $200 Patagonia jackets marked off 30% to 70%. I also want to give out a shout to the really nice lady that was working in the shoe department who had I believe short strawberry blonde hair she was so nice and she helped me with the socks while she was helping people with shoes and sandals. She is a benefit to have you always want great employees like that and I want to just say that her and the guy behind the counter in the front were really great. I think the guy behind the counter in the front was brunette and very helpful. Lastly, I love the large paper bag that they gave me with their insignia on it. It's so well-made. I am now using it to store my early winter kitling next to my fireplace here in Oregon. Thanks for being such a great store. I really enjoyed my visit there.
