Jackson Hole White Water Rafting Company is so fun. They put a priority on safety. We took a private Scenic float trip. It was just the two of us and our guide, Everett. He was very knowledgeable and funny. We rode a bus to the River from the corporate headquarters for JHWW. Lots of other people were on the bus. They had about 12 to 15 people in each of their boats. (2 other boats besides ours). This is a very relaxing trip. It is so nice to see the scenery and not have to worry about paddling or anything. That is what the guide does. JHWW also offers different levels of river rafting. Bill Clinton actually took a river rafting trip with his entourage through this company in 1996. They have pictures of all of them. The front desk people are very friendly and happy to answer any questions. They have clothing for sale. Some of it was really deeply discounted. They also sell snacks and water. I was going to purchase water but the lady offered me a free souvenir reusable container and she filled it with water. The staff could not have done anything better. This company is great.

We had the best time of our whole vacation on the float trip! Roslyn was our guide, she was super knowledgeable and very inspiring. I cannot recommend this place enough! Everyone was so friendly!

Great experience. Our guide, Ian, was funny and fun. I definitely recommend this company. We came in September when the sun was out!

We had the most awesome experience during our scenic raft tour on the Snake River with our guide Nick! He was knowledgeable about the river, the wildlife, the area and was a great conversationalist. We were lucky to have Nick guide us on a beautiful Sunday morning. Unfortunately for the two folks who missed the tour, but fortunately for us, we had a private raft ride! Truly an amazing experience! Thanks Nick! Book it now

August 2022 We did a same day reservation. Smaller raft, there were 6 people plus our guide (Kaylee). Lots of fun. Only class II rapids (water was pretty low) relaxing and beautiful scenery.

Third time down the snake rapids. Water was owing good and Tristen was a great guide. Went with wife son daughterinlaw and three grandkids. Was a perfect summer day mi 80s and clear. Water was really clear also. Everyone got good and wet and had a blast. I highly recommend this company.

The 7 mile Teton Views Float advertises as a 3 hour trip but the actual run is an hour. However, the length was fine w me because the sun was intense. Beautiful scenery, wonderful wildlife, saw eagles, deer, ducks off the beaten path. Our guide encouraged us to put our feet in the water (which felt soooo good), pointed out the wildlife, told us about the spectacular scenery, and did a great job navigating our raft.

We even spotted a bald eagle! Our tour guide was fantastic (Carter) and so was our driver (Larry).

Great river float trip with an amazing group of staff. From beginning to end, we had a great experience joining our raft, rafting down the river and heading back to town. We even spotted a bald eagle! Our tour guide was fantastic (Carter) and so was our driver (Larry). Can't wait to come back and try it again.

Amazing! This was my first time white water rafting and my husbands second time, it was a lot of fun!! Eric was our guide on a small boat and I would highly recommend asking for him as your guide, he was funny and very knowledgeable. My husbands favorite quote of his was "don't panic if you fall out of the boat, no one has ever gotten back onto the boat and been like "oh thank god I panicked"" Would definitely recommend and I would love to go again! You can tell in the pictures how much fun I'm having being in the front! :)

He was informative and the boat held some great discussions throughout the trip, which makes it more enjoyable. I was imagining more rapids, but there was a lot more slow parts of the river. The big Kahuna was the one rapid that managed to get everyone except our guide wet. They were taking pictures there which you can purchase online or go to their shop and buy them for 20% off. We even thread the needle towards the end between a couple large rocks. It's worth doing a small 8 person boat. I'd even go in May or June to get more rapids because going at the beginning of August the water flow slows way down losing some of the rapids. They do offer water jackets you can put on under the life vest when you get there. The water was cool but not cold enough to need a wetsuit in August unless you can't handle cool temps. They do offer all that when you Check-in to rent too. If you have young kid, 4th grade or older they let them sit at the head of the boat. They have to be strong enough to hold on going over the rapids.

BEST TOUR EVER!…read more First, we are not "tour" people. We like to travel on our own and rarely find a tour company that does what they say they will do. That said, we loved our tour with Teton Floats! We took the two day Yellowstone tour out of Jackson Wy. The company was fabulous to work with. Kilmeny Hall, one of the company owners and tour coordinator, handled everything from our reservations to lunch orders. She is a true professional gem and is so accommodating. She answered all of our questions, and made the whole booking process so easy. Our tour guide, John Putrino, was absolutely the best tour guide we have ever had anywhere! He is organized and efficient in everything we did for two days. He knows all there is to know about Yellowstone and surrounding areas. He has a great spotting scope which allowed us to see even those far away animals in the park. We were able to see many bison, bears, and even a wolf pack (eating a baby bison). We also saw elk, prong horns, and a moose! We were also able to see many birds, including Trumpeter Swans, Sandhill Cranes, various hawks, and ravens. John knows all the best places to look for and see animals, as well as terrific spots to have lunch. Lunch was provided both days and the sandwiches were delish (along with the chips, cookies and fruit). The tour includes waters, binoculars, and granola bars. The van is very comfortable and easy to get in and out of. We had bathroom breaks and rest stops whenever needed. The two day tour was amazing. Day one we saw all the geothermal features, including Old Faithful, and the Grand Prismatic Spring. John told us where to stand for the best views and led us around all the features with lots of interesting information. We spent the night in Pray Montana at the Chico Hot Springs Resort, which we would highly recommend. Great cabins and a nice restaurant with a more casual Saloon if you don't want a huge meal. Day two was focused on wildlife and waterfalls. We went to the Lamar Valley and other areas including Yellowstone Lake and the upper and lower Falls. We cannot say enough great things about Teton Floats two day Yellowstone Tour. John is the best and is so knowledgeable and thoughtful. A joy to spend two days with! We are definitely going to return and take this tour again! Don't miss it.

Omgosh is there a 10 star option on Yelp?! Because if so, Barker-Ewing is worthy! I don't even know…read morewhere to begin with this review because it was the most fantastic experience--my written words will not do it justice (but my pics may help). We actually didn't even plan to go to Grand Teton on our vacation. We only planned to do Yellowstone and Glacier. But when my uncle saw that we were here, he started texting us all about GTNP and the scenic float ride they took. He hyped it up so much, that we turned our second day in Yellowstone into a Grand Teton Day! I called Barker Ewing the day before and they luckily had availability (just an FYI that we went in August during the pandemic, so I doubt they'd be able to squeeze us in if it were a normal year). They emailed me very detailed instructions on where to go, where to park, etc. We ended up finding the location with no issues! Soon after, our River Guide, Peter, showed up to take us on this magical journey! Luckily for us, it was just our party of three and one party of two (due to COVID restrictions). Peter told us normally they pack the boats with 12 or so people. So we were incredibly spoiled. We each got one side of the raft to ourselves- which was awesome! We were able to sit on the edge for an adventurous feeling; or we could sit down and sprawl out for a more relaxed vibe. The entire raft ride took about 2.5 hours. It was a scenic raft ride and not a white water raft ride, so it was all so peaceful. It's a ten mile ride up the Snake River. Peter did all of the rowing as he guided us through. We have never met anyone as knowledgeable and inspirational as Peter! He absolutely loves the outdoors. Said he knew since he was 8 or 9 that he wanted to move to Grand Teton and become a River Guide. Talk about following your dreams! He lives on the property in a tepee (so cool!). And he's seen all wildlife imaginable (except for a wolverine, but he can still tell you all about them!). I've never met someone so incredibly passionate about what they do. I work in HR so when I see a human being so perfectly matched to their profession, I get almost giddy about it. Never was there a better river guide than Peter! I loved so much how he was answering all of our questions with zeal. You can tell he lives for this! He is one of those rare people who make you stop and think "Am I living life to the fullest?" Needless to say, I am still trying to find my "inner Peter." My sister, brother-in-law and I talked about him for the rest of the trip! We did end up seeing some bald eagles during our ride which was really cool! Peter knew all about them of course, and even had a name for one of the younger ones ("Junior"). We were hoping to see Moose (it's called Moose, WY after all!) but didn't get a sighting. The views are absolutely stunning with the Tetons in the background. The water flowing right underneath and all around you makes for such a serene experience. There was a time where I was so at peace, that I almost dozed off. But I told myself "I cannot fall asleep when these are my views!" This has to be the closest I've ever felt to have a heavenly peace. All told, we all agreed that this was our favorite thing on our trip. For me, it is a highlight of all vacations I've ever taken! I cannot say enough good things about this experience and if you are in Grand Teton, you HAVE to make this a priority! I'm so glad my uncle hyped it up to us. He didn't oversell it at all-- if anything, it was better than we imagined! Thank you, Peter, for this unforgettable and inspiring experience! We hope to be back to see you again one day!

For $600-850 a snow mobile, this outfit is greatly missing customer etiquette. We were told to be ready at 6am sharp. We called repeatedly, text the 307 number, and had no idea if we'd been scammed until the coach showed up at 6:28. Showing up late with no working phone number was shocking for an outfit that demands logistics and communication at 6am. Once the coach showed up, I asked Jeff (guide) if there's any coffee since it's a 1+ hour ride to Yellowstone and coffee shops were not open. Scenic Safari's response? "You can die for an hour in the back." A bit rude, I ignored it. For comparison, the hotel shuttle that runs FOR FREEE has coffee and hot chocolate prepped in the van. No coffee on a $600-800 per person is one thing, but "You can die for an hour in the back," has ZERO customer etiquette. We get in the coach and the man has the lights on full blast over our heads. When asked to dim them since it's pitch black outside and the contrast painful to anyone with migraines, Jeff makes the remark "lights are going off because there's someone sensitive in the back."
