When we arrived for our whitewater rafting trip we were told our reservations had been cancelled and they were booked and couldn't fit us in. We were discouraged as this is our last day here. We left and received a call from Adam fitting us into a cancelled spot later that morning. We had a great experience and our family loved the trip down the snake river with Zach. We appreciate Jeff staying with our belongings on the bus while we floated down the river! Thank you everyone at Barker Ewing! Fantastic morning!!

What a wonderful day on the Snake River! Though the morning started out overcast and slightly rainy, it didn't put a damper on our trip. Tim was a great guide on the peaceful float in the morning. The afternoon we had "Whitewater Jesus" (Will). A delightful white water guide who provided a very personal and safe trip. We were impressed by his great sense of humor and effort to know all our names! The staff in both offices we worked with were very warm and friendly. Highly recommend a trip with Barker-Ewing!

Our family of 15, ages 7 yrs old to 66 years young. Relaxing trip.

Will give 4.5 stars. Loved working with Janet to arrange our float trip. She was caring and personable. Staff was very nice. Honestly, the float was kind of boring for our family. I guess it was too relaxing, lol and they wanted something more thrilling. Will have to do whitewater next time. Lunch was wonderful but they forgot my MIL's vegetarian sandwich. However there was enough food to fill her up. The picnic area is serene and clean. We were stuffed and we eat alot. I loved the thai broccoli salad and the fruit were yummy. Lemonade was a little weak. Thank you to the staff for being attentive and answering all the questions we had about wildlife and the area.

Haven't purchased the actual photos yet, but intend too. We're the ones on the left lol.

When we found…read moreout that Grand Teton National Park and elk reserve were right in our backyard, we booked a Grand Teton tour through the Get Your Guide App. We reserved our spots for the half-day "safari" tour that started at 7:30am. Bonus points for pickup from and drop-off to our hotel in Jackson. Prior to the tour day, BrushBuck Wildlife Tours called me to confirm my reservation details and answer any questions I had around logistics of the day. Since it was the middle of the winter, we were in a heated van. Our tour guide from today was Ted, and he was awesome. He was friendly, personable, and highly knowledgeable of the flora and fauna of the area. He impressed me by the facts he knew, and he didn't not have an answer for all our questions. He also had a good eye and spotted wildlife off in the distance, and he would genuinely be as excited as we were seeing the animals. We saw coyotes, a wolf, elk, bison, moose, and bighorn sheep. Ted had a magnifying scope that connected to his phone, so he took these amazing closeups of the animals for us and sent the pictures within 24 hours after the tour. I would highly recommend this tour, which was like a fun scavenger hunt in Grand Teton.

I booked a four-hour morning tour with BrushBuck during my stay here at Grand Teton National Park. We got to ride around in an open-air vehicle while our guide shared loads information about the park. BrushBuck provides drinks, snacks, a blanket and binoculars on these tours. I have been on an African safari and this tour brought back some fun memories of that trip. We saw pronghorn antelope, elk, moose and a bear. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and even added a little humor. The backdrop of the Teton Range made it such a memorable morning. If you are visiting the Tetons for the first time, I highly recommend checking out one of these safari tours and get more up close and personal with the park.

Taren was exceedingly apologetic and accommodating. It turns out they were handling an unusually high volume of reservations that day, and unfortunately, ours slipped through the cracks. Her service recovery was excellent. Given the business's consistently high ratings, I have no doubt that our one-off situation will be taken as a learning opportunity to help them continue delivering excellent tours to future clients. Original abridged review: **Disappointed by the experience -- not what we paid for, though our guide saved the day** I hate to leave a review like this, but our experience didn't match what was promised or paid for. We booked an early morning safari in advance as part of a bachelorette weekend, expecting a seamless start to a packed day. Unfortunately, the company forgot our reservation entirely, and despite repeated calls, no one arrived until two hours late -- well past the peak wildlife viewing time and after significant disruption to our schedule. Several advertised amenities, including breakfast and hot beverages, were missing, and communication throughout was poor. A minimal refund was eventually offered, but only after we pushed for it. That said, our guide Barry was outstanding. He came in on his day off, brought great energy, was knowledgeable and engaging, and did his best to salvage the situation. We're grateful to him. Ultimately, though, the overall experience was disappointing. For a premium tour marketed as professional and seamless, it missed the mark. We hope the company improves its customer service and reliability moving forward.

I'm very detail-oriented and tend to ask a lot of questions to make sure everything is covered, and she went above and beyond. Not only did she share all the details about their expeditions, but she also gave helpful recommendations for the area. We ended up booking two expeditions: the Shared Scenic Float and the Rafting trip. Both were fantastic. Grace guided our Float and Ben led the Rafting--each brought such skill and warmth to the experience. Check-in was smooth, the staff was friendly and welcoming--just what you'd hope for from a family-owned business. Prices are also very reasonable. Just a quick note: don't forget to tip your guides--they truly deserve it. Pro tip: If you're looking for a more intense rafting experience, go in late May or June when the water levels are higher.

For $600-850 a snow mobile, this outfit is greatly missing customer etiquette. We were told to be ready at 6am sharp. We wanted to confirm which side of the hotel pickup was, however neither the 1800 or 307 numbers work. We called repeatedly, text the 307 number, and had no idea if we'd been scammed until the coach showed up at 6:28. Showing up late with no working phone number was shocking for an outfit that demands logistics and communication at 6am. Once the coach showed up, I asked Jeff (guide) if there's any coffee since it's a 1+ hour ride to Yellowstone and coffee shops were not open. Scenic Safari's response? "You can die for an hour in the back." A bit rude, I ignored it. For comparison, the hotel shuttle that runs FOR FREEE has coffee and hot chocolate prepped in the van. No coffee on a $600-800 per person is one thing, but "You can die for an hour in the back," has ZERO customer etiquette. We get in the coach and the man has the lights on full blast over our heads. When asked to dim them since it's pitch black outside and the contrast painful to anyone with migraines, Jeff makes the remark "lights are going off because there's someone sensitive in the back." Zero basic customer etiquette. Just turn the light off. Everyone heard the request. Three strikes before the fist 30 minutes of the trip with 8 hours to go.

YAHTZEE !!!! With that said I was picked up at my hotel lobby and taken back to the shop. I opted for the upgrade which was a Polaris 600 with a 153 inch track on it and was not disappointed. My guide like I said was Kyle and from the minute we left the parking lot, to minute we got back it was hard core riding. The parking lot we left was somewhat sunny, but we entered the following areas according to him: Salt River Rand, Wyoming Range, The Greys, River Canyon and Apline Wyoming. Half way through the day we pulled into a real ranch in the middle of nowhere and were treated to a delicious lunch with homemade cookies. We then headed out to some serious boondocking back country riding, unlike anything I have ever experienced in my life. Riding on a base of 20 feet of snow with fresh feet pounding down was the ultimate experience. Our guide kyle let us freestyle for a good 2 hours total off the trails and I was completely spent by the end of it. I flipped my sled once, but Kyle was right there to help me right the sled. I know some people reading this may think this place is too hard core, but they cater to families as well, the inexperienced and the intermediates. I personally think this is the place you want to go if you are in Jackson Hole and want to ride. They have a tour that brings you to much wild life in addition to yellowstone.... Fuck yeah As good as it gets !!!
