If you have any type of issue, just know the managers are too lazy to do their job and put it on the poor employees up front to deal with with problems that isn't even their job to start. There was constant miscommunication with every employee we interacted with and the manager was well aware of what was going on and refused to even help. What's the point of your job then? We made well aware we were not experts and were beginner snowboarders. Not a single employee made us aware that the beginner slopes were closed. We were never given any advice on what to do and where to go. We get to one of the lifts and when asking the employee if it was the expert slope, he said "it's not too bad." It wasn't until we got off the lift, when we realized it wasn't the case. A different (only helpful employee in this situation) immediately came to help. When explaining we were beginners, he shared that we never should've been sent up there. After explaining the situation, the people inside mentioned they were unaware that the beginner slopes were closed. Due to the miscommunication (on their part) and the fact that our safety was at risk, we rightfully asked for a refund. Mind you, we didn't even get to experience anything of what we paid for. We immediately went back down at the recommendation of the helpful employee on the slope. Management refused to speak with us and refused a refund. Also, all of a sudden once a refund was mentioned, they were ready to offer alternatives for beginners. First of all, where was this in the beginning? Second, by this time the way the situation was already being handled, we were over it and had zero interest in returning. While I don't fully fault all the employees that attempted to help with the options they were given, I put full blame on management. There needs to be cohesive communication across all employees to prevent situations like this. And as a former customer service facing manager, I am absolutely floored by the unprofessionalism from the manager on duty on February 2, 2026. She was well aware of everything but not once did she come out of her office to apologize or offer any kind of assistance. Absolutely ridiculous, insulting to our time, energy and money.

We had a party of three generations -- two sets of grandparents in their 70s, parents, and 2 grandkids ages 4 and 2. Ana was accommodating to all ages, complete with teddy bears at the ready for the kids, snacks, drinks, fancy water bottles (to keep!) and the tour hadn't even started. Ana has a great depth of knowledge to share and tailored the tour of the Tetons for our attention spans and needs (we have little legs that need lots of exercise, some of the older folks can't do too much walking). Everybody was happy on this tour and it was definitely a highlight. We saw plenty of wildlife and went to places we would not have known about on our own. I absolutely would recommend Ana's tour to anyone I know and will definitely return to tour with her in the future. She is a classy guide with attention to detail and professionalism that is second to none.

We did the 3 hr…read moreride and it was not a nose-to-tale trail ride you are actually riding ( up and down ridges, rocks, creek crossings, mud, ect.). Our guide Owen was great. The horses we were on were Big Kent and Big Tex- both were great and they did well for us and we ( experienced riders) loved it that we actually had to ride them. Horses are nice and fat/healthy. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area

They are the ONLY horseback riding with permits to enter Tetons and Yellowstone . Other Yellowstone horseback riding is through xantera or whatever the main Yellowstone commercial Company that manages all the hotels/restaurants/staff for general stores, very Disneyland/commercial. Wilderness Trails is family owned, rural, one of a kind. We felt like a family on the prairie. They literally plop horse corrals and tents and cooking station in the middle of grand Tetons and Yellowstone on a meadow/prairie like plot of land. All the staff live there in tents and some campers and so you basically join "their family" and live that life. They had a professional chef that came from a Michilin Star restaurant (he was not technically a Michilin chef) but food was amazing and so well Done! We got to eat with our horse wranglers and the chef and felt like part of their family. They all had their own dog and my kids had so much fun running around with all The doggies:) they had a warm outdoor like shower and you are in the middle of nature bathing amd my daughter said it was the best shower of her life! It was my 7 year olds first time horseback riding and she did just fine! My other kids were 10 and 12-they wanted to "live there" and asked if we could have their bday parties there. Was worth every penny! Wish we planned to stay longer

The restaurant we were going to that night was also across the street from the park and we wanted to see the best route to take from our hotel to this area, hence hanging out in the park for a little bit. The park has a lot of amenities, including areas you can rent out for large parties. There are courts for games like pickleball and a nice open grassy space. The playground is very cute and kids of all ages would probably love to play on the sets. There is a nice looking bathroom but unfortunately, they close for the winter, beginning on October 1st.

We quickly saw that riding down with another tube, or even riding down with all 4 tubes connected, meant you would travel much faster. And faster is funner when it comes to tubing. This isn't something I'd necessarily recommend for repeat visits, but it was certainly a fun way to spend one (somewhat drunken) evening while we were in Jackson.

From the very beginning, Chef Andrew was super communicative and highly collaborative. He worked closely with me to design a perfect, custom menu that catered exactly to what we were looking for. That level of care really showed in the final result. The food was exceptional, especially the huckleberry cheesecake, which was legitimately the best I've ever had. The service throughout the night was seamless and professional, and they were even kind enough to leave the kitchen spotless before they headed out. If you are looking for a high-end, personalized culinary experience in Jackson, I cannot recommend Chef Andrew enough.
