This was a cute little community park that we stumbled across while we were playing an online game in Jackson. The restaurant we were going to that night was also across the street from the park and we wanted to see the best route to take from our hotel to this area, hence hanging out in the park for a little bit. The park has a lot of amenities, including areas you can rent out for large parties. There are courts for games like pickleball and a nice open grassy space. The playground is very cute and kids of all ages would probably love to play on the sets. There is a nice looking bathroom but unfortunately, they close for the winter, beginning on October 1st. read more

A wonderful community recreation center that has 4 pickleball courts, a basketball court, playground, picnic tables, and complete with men's and women's restrooms. The grounds are beautifully kept with sunny and shaded areas complete with benches and picnic tables dotting the grounds. read more

There's mountain views from every angle, wildlife, super relaxing hot springs, a water park, lots of little shops and restaurants, and a lovely river running through it all! We came for a short family vacation during spring break March 2023 specifically to visit the hot springs and it's SO worth it! We even saw wild turkeys walking around haha! The hot springs are perfect for winter! But they also have winter sports available too. In summer they have a water park and even have tubing along the small rapids on the Portneuf River that runs through town. The town is small but has several dining options and cafes and shops - plenty of choice to keep you happy. The people were warm, welcoming and so friendly. My son lives in Salt Lake City and it's not too long of a drive to get here - they come here often so I'm sure I'll be back! Highly recommend!

I, having an illness and a service dog, couldn't use the facilities but said I would sit in the lobby and wait. I was then told I would also have to pay the daily fee just to sit there. I couldn't believe it. I had gone there that morning to check it out and the counter staff was so rude, never smiled, and seemed so angry that I would ask questions and want to use their place. This lack of service continued when we went this afternoon. I was looked at askance and impolitely questioned about my service dog and then told I couldn't sit and wait for 30 minutes. For a town mostly dependent on tourism these people and their rules are designed to keep people away and have left a very bad impression about the whole town.

They are the ONLY horseback riding with permits to enter Tetons and Yellowstone . Other Yellowstone horseback riding is through xantera or whatever the main Yellowstone commercial Company that manages all the hotels/restaurants/staff for general stores, very Disneyland/commercial. Wilderness Trails is family owned, rural, one of a kind. We felt like a family on the prairie. They literally plop horse corrals and tents and cooking station in the middle of grand Tetons and Yellowstone on a meadow/prairie like plot of land. All the staff live there in tents and some campers and so you basically join "their family" and live that life. They had a professional chef that came from a Michilin Star restaurant (he was not technically a Michilin chef) but food was amazing and so well Done! We got to eat with our horse wranglers and the chef and felt like part of their family. They all had their own dog and my kids had so much fun running around with all The doggies:) they had a warm outdoor like shower and you are in the middle of nature bathing amd my daughter said it was the best shower of her life! It was my 7 year olds first time horseback riding and she did just fine! My other kids were 10 and 12-they wanted to "live there" and asked if we could have their bday parties there. Was worth every penny! Wish we planned to stay longer
