Absolutely loved our breakfast ride with Willow Creek. Kenzie was our guide and she was lovely to talk to. The horses were well cared for and the ride through the mountains was beautiful. Willow Creek Horseback Rides saved the day! We had reservations at another horseback riding group, but it had been raining off and on and the morning of our ride, that group cancelled our reservation though the raining had stopped for the most part. We didn't get the message until 1pm and were leaving early the next day, so our family of five was very disappointed that we weren't going to get to ride horses. I decided to take a chance and see if Willow Creek had any cancellations at the last minute, and to my surprise they made it happen for us. When we arrived we were amazed at how beautiful the whole area is there, and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. They made us inexperienced riders feel right at home, and they took us on a 2+ hour ride which will be the highlight of our trip. Despite the rainy weather which unfortunately hid part of the amazing Teton views from the ridge, the views were still astounding, and the horses were all great. We are very grateful to Willow Creek for allowing us to ride that day! It was a memory none of us will ever forget. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to do some horseback riding in the Jackson Hole area! read more

We booked this 1-hour horseback trip for myself, my wife, and my 8-year-old son and did not think to check the price. Willow Creek is almost 3x what every other company in Wyoming charges, including their sister company just down the road. Our guide was Kendra, who was very nice but had just graduated from high school and only been on the job for 10 days. She barely talked at all so there was no context for what you are seeing or even any facts about the horses you are riding. Perhaps not her fault since she was new, but for this price, I expect much more from a guide. The guides in the nearby national park were much better, the scenery much nicer, and the price was ~1/3 as much. The trail she took us on did not have that much to see. The only advantage to this ride over the national park ride was we were able to use our cameras. In the end, we felt taken advantage of and it ruined my son's 8th birthday. Certainly, it was our fault for not asking the price ($435 for the 3 of us for a one-hour ride). Please don't make the same mistake that we did. There are much better options for horseback riding in the area. read more

If you want a real western ride through breathtaking country and views of the Tetons, Willow Creek hits the jackpot. We drove a litte farther out of town so that we could enjoy the tranquility and rustic riding trails where you won't see another human or cross any city traffic. Richard was our wrangler who pointed out the wild life and took our family pictures with the Grand Tetons in the background dotted with purple and yellow flowers and ponds. My horse, Champagne, was a gem, as were all of our horses. The scenery is spectacular and the wranglers were friendly...we are definitely coming back here and recommend this to everyone visiting the Jackson area. read more

Would absolutely recommend this company to others. The horses were well taken care of and safe to ride, the guides were very friendly, and prices were competitive and reasonable. We called in advance to make a reservation by phone. My husband and I who are inexperienced horseback riders felt very safe during our 2 hour morning ride which took us up through the woods, and to the top of a mountain of wildflowers with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. We are more than delighted we picked Willow Creek for horseback riding with our 3 granddaughters. They were curteous from the original phone call for reservations, to welcoming us upon arrival and then our best trail boss ever. It's really apparent they love their job. Horses were well cared for and matched to each of us perfectly. Bailey lead us on a trail up the mountain into beautiful country. Gorgeous views, trail in the trees and aling a meadow, pond and creek. We heard wolf pups and saw adult wolf tracks.Gracie ran the outfit and made us feel right at home. I wish we had time to go back the next day. But we definitely will go back on our next trip to Jackson Hole read more

Went for the 2 hour ride a couple days ago. Let me start by saying the views are amazing! Our guide was a sweet young girl. The horses were well behaved. The trail was very rocky for the horses. They didn't check or tighten our saddles before we headed out or checked to see if our stirrups needed adjusting. While we were on the trail we needed to stop and tighten up saddles . Also the fact we paid $165.00 for a 2 hour ride was crazy expensive considering we went into the grand Teton National park and it was 80.00 for a 2 hour ride ! Overall not a bad experience but I would definitely shop around this place was Way OVER PRICED! read more

This was the best experience I had while in Jackson! We called a day in advance and ended up getting there and being the only two riders in our "group" as well as our guide. The whole atmosphere at willow creek is relaxed and friendly, everyone is so nice! The prices were the best amongst other places in the area and the quality can't be beat. We went on a two hour ride and loved our horses and our guide Cheyenna! She was so nice and told us all about the horses and landscape we were in. Next time I'll definitely be checking out the half day or full day trip! The two hour ride took us up a mountain, along the ridge and then back down. Loved it. They are no frills but friendly and accommodating. Took our family of 4 on short notice at the time of our choosing. They're a bit off the beaten path but worth the trip because you're on beautiful trails in the National Forest within a minute or two after mounting your horse. We had our kids (9 and 11) who had never ridden and they set them up appropriately and prepped them for their first ride. The 3 hour ride takes you through some forests and hilltops with amazing views. The guide, Mitch, was friendly and helpful throughout. I definitely recommend. read more
