I know Early Season is discounted, but ONLY by about $30 per day. I don't feel the tiny discount justifies what we experienced.

Snake River Angler - Michael, our guide was very knowledgeable about the river, the wildlife, and Jackson Hole in general! We had such a good time!

We booked through the Moose, Wyoming…read morelocation of Snake River Angler, and our guide Boots - a third generation fly fisherman - couldn't have been more helpful. My nephew and I, first timers, appreciated Boots expertise and his patience. We began our 4 hour fly fishing experience at Jackson Lake dam (where we spotted a grizzly!) and floated down the Snake River. Just as fabulous as the fly fishing experience was, it was equally as wonderful to be floating down the Snake River through scenic, majestic landscape, and hear the sounds of wildlife and the running, gurgling Snake River. The stunning landscape is forever imbedded to a lovely memory. Boots taught us casting techniques, strategies and and tactics, and he tied our flies for us. He is an outstanding teacher because my nephew and I both caught, and reeled in, a Snake River Fine-spotted Cutthroat Trout. Snake River Angler services: *Fly Fishing Lessons, 2.5 hours on the water learning about casting, fly selections, knots, fish handling and etiquette. *Half day Guided Fishing, Up to 4 hours of Guided fishing on the water - 2 people per boat/guide. *Full day Guided Fishing, Up to 8 hours of Guided Fishing on the water - 2 people per boat/guide Lunch included. Their are two locations with full service fly shops in Moose and Jackson Wyoming. Additionally, they carry al large selection of fly fishing gear from clothing to rods.

I encountered a Western River Anglers guide while out fishing on a small river outside of Jackson…read moreand was beyond disappointed with the way that the guide handled running into some fellow fisherman. In the Jackson area we like to build a connected community of fly fisherman, and people like this make me lose hope in that community. He yelled at 3 kids just out fishing and having a good time, and acted like he owned every hole on the river. On a bigger river of course we would have left a little more room for him and his clients, but he needs to understand that it is a crowded, public, small river. I would expect far more respect out on the water from any fisherman, especially guides, who are setting an example for their clients on how to treat other fisherman while out on the water. Do better Western River Anglers!

I've previously used Worldcast Anglers, but for me that tends to be an underwhelming experience as often the guides seem to be just going through the motions. Jay and Derek have amazing energy are fired up to bring a great experience. We'll definitely be using these guys again every time we're back in the area! Thanks guys!

We left about 6:30am to get there at 7:30 (and we were still 10 minutes late). The last 5 miles are on a dirt road, through absolutely gorgeous country. Just be forewarned that it's a dirt road! They were very gracious and allowed us to join the 3 hour ride, despite being 10 minutes late! They have the cutest dogs! Their big St. Bernard, Teddy demanded belly rubs, which I would have happily given all day. They also have the tiniest little pom I have ever seen! So adorable. All of their horses look so healthy and happy. They are obviously very well cared for. Their facilities are clean and well maintained and all of the employees were friendly and engaging. Our wrangler for the trail ride was knowledgeable and fun to chat with. She was attentive without being overbearing. We stopped several times so she could check our saddles and cinch us up, if needed. I don't have to say that the scenery was insanely beautiful. It's Wyoming in the summer, and the Grand Tetons! I felt completely spoiled coming from CA where everything is currently a shade of brown, and dry. Our horses were very well behaved and made the ride easy. Thank you so much to Swift Creek for a beautiful experience! I got to see parts of Wyoming that I would not have been able to otherwise. I will definitely be coming back!

When I called to check out I was told the half-day charge was $695. That's 90% of the whole day charge! Now, this isn't my first rodeo. I've been fishing in Jackson for years, but this is much more than I expected for a half-day trip. But, I sucked it up....then Bruce, the guy on the phone starts complaining that my tip is too low. Really!? Not cool or appropriate. Well, I pay and I call Scott a couple of weeks later. He makes me feel like its my fault. Now, I know it's buyer beware, but, there was no sense of customer service or certainly any interest to have me use them again. Too bad, I really enjoyed Ryan, the guide. John B

Got our fishing licenses there the day before. It's an easy walk from anywhere downtown to the store. Brian our guide met us there for our fishing day. He was great, we drove out and then jumped in his truck for the remainder of the arrival. It was July so the area was beautiful, still a little snow on the Teton's. Didn't fly fish, but we reel fished the float trip and caught a ton of fish. Brian was knowledgable, professional and fun! He knew a ton about the area, and we really had the perfect day. Highly recommend.
