The most amazing vacation ever. We did the float with Turner as our guide, (Not to be confused with the "Turners" that own the ranch). He was awesome and so knowledgeable of the river and Tetons. We did the Fly Fishing half day and was also a very good time. But staying at the Ranch for the week was the best vacation EVER. If you love trail riding, horses, family style western experience including square dancing and cookouts, no place will ever be better. Oh yea, the views of the Tetons everyday are priceless. The Wranglers and entire staff are beyond amazing.

The Teton's in all its splendor!

What an amazing experience! The Triangle X crew started off by ensuring our safety by canceling our original trip due to a thunderstorm that made the river unstable and they didn't want to take any changes. We were able to quickly reschedule our trip for next morning. We were greeted by the Triangle X crew again and was given easy instructions and taken to the river. We had an AWESOME guide by the name of "Jim". He was knowledgeable, really friendly and answered all of our questions! Pointed out several Bald Eagles and other things along the river. Even gave me some good recommendations on what turns out to be some great beers! "THANK YOU" Triangle X crew from my entire family and will be having a return trip as soon as we can get back up to the Grand Tetons!!!!

We really enjoyed our visit at triangle X and can't wait to come back again in the future. The wranglers were awesome. We found an amazing they knew every horse by the way they looked and they were about 150 of horses. We really appreciated the management for allowing the employees to go on horseback rides on their days off. We really felt like we got to know the people there more than just a casual interactions at lunch or other times. We appreciate the fact that some people have been there before and they were riding the same horse they had road for the last two three or four years. On one trail ride we ran to people who had been there and one of the people had actually ridden one of the horses that was in our group. The food was B+ which is what I was expecting. It was Ranch food it was really good, what made it fun was after our meal the service people come out with a box of ice cream cones or something which really made it feel special. This is a great place to vacation and next time I'll try to do it in the summertime where they have cookouts on the trails square dances and other activities besides horseback riding.

Top-notch service! I joined them for their Solar Eclipse Float Trip down the Snake River. The Grand Tetons NP was expecting a lot of visitors that day. Triangle X planned accordingly. The guides were knowledgeable and the Grand Tetons' views were stunning. Thank you Triangle X Ranch!

Avoid this place at all costs - a disappointing and concerning experience…read more We honestly cannot understand how this place has so many positive reviews. If you care even a little about animal welfare, you will immediately notice that something feels wrong when you arrive. This place feels like a tourist machine rather than an authentic ranch experience. Dozens of horses are lined up, already saddled, and spend the day tied up waiting for the next group. There are no real pastures around. The horses that are not tied are kept in small pens, with no grass and far too many horses in a limited space. As an experienced rider, I was extremely disappointed by the ride itself. We paid $260 for an experience that was advertised on their website as a way to see wildlife. This was the main reason we chose this company. After only five minutes on horseback, I asked our guide what animals we might have the chance to see. His answer was very honest but incredibly disappointing: he told us we would probably see nothing because the trails are used dozens of times every day and animals avoid the area. Ironically, we saw a moose and a weasel less than a mile from the ranch on the road. The "Big View Grand Teton" ride ($140 per person) is honestly just a basic out-and-back trail. You start in a completely flat open area, then do a short climb through the forest to reach a mediocre viewpoint, before going back down through almost the exact same scenery. The entire ride is at a walk. No one asked about our riding experience; horses were simply assigned when we arrived based on our height. Of course, the whole ride was at a slow walk, which made the experience incredibly boring for anyone who actually knows how to ride. For the price, the scenery was not memorable, the experience was not authentic, and the promise of seeing wildlife was completely misleading. If you are looking for a true Western horseback experience, go somewhere else. Stay at a real ranch for a night or more, and you will have the opportunity to ride for several hours through much more beautiful and varied landscapes, while supporting places where horses have a better quality of life. This place was a huge disappointment and, in our opinion, not representative of what a real ranch experience should be. It is truly a shame to see that, in 2026, some establishments are still treating horses this way. These animals deserve much better than being treated as a simple tourist attraction.

It is a family-owned business, so the guides are related. The pace was relaxed and comfortable. You are on the horse the whole time, but they give plenty of breaks for both the riders and the horses. Throughout the ride, the guides will share fun insights about the horses themselves, the local wildlife and plants, the ranch itself and of course the Grand Tetons. They welcome all skill levels - even total beginners like me. The guides take the time to teach you how to direct and handle your horse, and the horses are very well-behaved. They also keep the group small, which makes the experience feel much more personal. You'll see stunning views of the Hoback area, the Snake River Canyon, and the Teton Range. You'll ride to see a spectacular view of Bidger Teton National Park. The guide is so nice that he will take pictures of you on your horse with the scenic background. It is an unforgettable experience for me. Highly recommend them.

The horses are well taken care of and the people we meet were very nice. We read the reviews before booking here and I can say that the family owned operation is well run. Yes the lady is not very computer savvy just be a little patient. But who's in a hurry when you are out in the beautiful country side. After our ride we stayed for the bbq and I'm telling you that was the best T bone steak I have had in a really long time. It was delicious !! We can't wait to go back to this ranch for another ride and bbq. You will not be disappointed.
