I am especially grateful to the owner who even generously went out of her way to mail me back the earrings I forgot to grab from my bedroom as we had rushed to make our flight back home. All I knew about it was that it was located in Grand Teton National Park. Driving to it you realize you're very isolated being that it is located about 20 minutes from Jackson. The cabins are part of a greater operation. They share the grounds with Dornan's Pizza and Pasta, grocery store, wine shop, and gift shop. I'll review each individually in this review. The cabins are duplexes that are grouped together in a small circle and are named. We stayed in Osprey. Each has a small porch with a charcoal grill for your barbecuing pleasure, and an ashtray if that's your thing.The decor is comfortable and inviting. The only part of the cabin that has carpet is the bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, stove, and oven with basic cooking apparatus. The living room has a sofa bed and two very large comfortable chairs. There is also this thing called a telephone, but there isn't a tv. The wifi signal is strong and we were able to stream movies with no issues. The Snake River and Grand Tetons are behind the cabins. The view can be pretty incredible depending on the weather. It rained and snowed most of the time during our stay. If you don't feel like cooking, Dornan's Pizza and Pasta is a short walk. The food is pretty good. I had the vegetarian Stromboli and the Mrs. had a pizza. The restaurant also has a bar. If you want booze, there is a wine shop that has a really good selection of wine, beer, and hard alcohol. The prices are pretty reasonable. FYI-Wyoming is one of those states that has archaic liquor laws. Booze can't mingle with regular groceries. There is also a small grocery store and deli that makes incredible sandwiches. I suggest grabbing a sandwich to take with you when explore Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons. If you need souvenirs, Dornan's has that covered as well. You can even buy gas at a rather reasonable price. As accommodation prices go, Dornan's cabins are lower compared to the rest of the area. You don't get the glitz and glamour that is Jackson Hole, but you get peace and quiet. The staff were all very nice as well.

Perfect place to stay if you're visiting Grand Teton and/or Yellowstone. Much more conveniently…read morelocated (and a better value) than staying in one of the hotels in Jackson. These cabins are located just outside the south entrance to Grand Teton, in a little village complex that includes a gas station, grocery store, liquor store, and a couple of restaurants. The cabins themselves are very comfortable, definitely an upscale feel, similar to what you'd find at Jenny Lake, but for half the price. One and two bedroom options are available, and each includes a full kitchen, dining table, bathroom, and living room with a pull-out sofa bed. There are only 12 cabins total (8 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom). If you're planning a trip, book early because they sell out fast.

Our stay was the Perfect vacation to end the summer with a bang. Just minutes away from downtown Jackson Hole and a short drive from Grand Teton, it's perfectly located offering both convince and privacy. So many gorgeous trails to hike, fishing, tubing down the river, and evening rides on electric bikes. We had so much fun grilling dinner, roasting marshmallows for smores on an open fire, and soaking in the hot tub to end the perfect day before climbing into the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Bedrooms are equipped with huge TV and fireplaces of their own, and the whole property is an emaculate Eutopia!! We can't wait to have a chance to come back and do it again! The interior is cozy and comfortable, and once you walk a little further in, you see the amazing dining area complete with a sitting place next to the fire, and big comfy leather chairs with western style decor. This place is a must-experience because of the atmosphere alone! The food is excellent, and they offer a great gluten free options. The 3-4 course option is perfect if you're looking to splurge a little. Everything was superb, the prices are spot on, the food maybe a bit higher but definitely worth it--you're probably on vacation, right? Bar was same prices as most places, but with an exquisite fireplace and mountain backdrop. Can't beat it around these parts--it's like its straight out of a movie. Highly recommended.

It covers a fairly large area and has a number of activities you can do: horseback riding, fishing, hiking, and more. The food was excellent! They prepared 3 meals each day and we weren't disappointed at all. They even packed a picnic lunch for us to take when we went to Yellowstone for the day. The views at MH are amazing. It was so beautiful having the Tetons right outside of your window. We've missed MH since we were there and look forward to visiting again soon!

There are a couple of negatives. Price. The place is expensive. Hello, you are in GRAND Tetons National Park - this is one of the few places to stay. So suck it up. Enjoy where you are and don't think about. Staying here is preferable to anything else outside. Shower head only allowed a what seemed to be a trickle of water. We still got a shower, but with low water pressure.

The room was comfortable and well-equipped, featuring very nice beds, a dresser, closet, mini-fridge, alarm clock, and the convenience of having both a sink in the bathroom and another in the main room. The nearby ice machine was an added bonus. The shower was excellent, with great water pressure and quality toiletries including shampoo and body wash. After long days exploring the park, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The lodge itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Tetons from many areas of the property. We enjoyed spending time at the onsite bar, where the **"399" cocktail, named after the famous Grizzly 399, was a fun and memorable touch that connected us to the area's wildlife history.** One of the best features of the lodge is its location. Several hiking trails begin right from the property, making it easy to step outside and enjoy the beauty of Grand Teton National Park without having to get back in the car. We also enjoyed the onsite dining options. The restaurant was excellent, with no waiting for a table during our stay. The dining room's layout was thoughtfully designed, allowing for attentive, efficient service and a relaxed atmosphere. Between the great food, outstanding views, and friendly service, dining at the lodge was one of the highlights of our visit. Overall, Jackson Lake Lodge offers comfort, convenience, incredible scenery, and a true sense of place. Between the beautiful views, comfortable accommodations, great amenities, and unique touches like the 399 cocktail, it was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!

They always had cookies, water, and coffee available for guests at any time of the day. The breakfast (and brunch we had) was delicious!! We had things like pancakes, eggs benedict, bagels, baked goods, and fruit. On one of the nights we were here it snowed, and we were able to light a fire in the fireplace. It was so cozy! I would say the only drawback was that there is not air conditioning. While this was not an issue for us because the weather was cooler (it was in June) and we could open our windows, I could see it being a problem if there was a heat wave or later in the summer.

Full week, and we hated to leave…read more The staff makes this place -- everyone from wranglers to kitchen crew seemed genuinely happy to be there, and running that many guests, meals, and activities without a hitch is impressive. The horses are exceptionally well trained, with rides suited to every skill level -- we were beginners and had a blast, while more advanced riders in our group were equally impressed. Highlights included river crossings deep enough to get our boots wet and watching the horses run to their weekend pastures -- genuine goosebumps. We also did clay/target shooting, archery, hatchet throwing, barrel racing, tubing, and line dancing -- felt like summer camp for adults. Food was great all week, cabin was spotless and comfortable. Can't recommend it enough.

The cabins were clean, cozy, and had that perfect rustic charm without sacrificing comfort. The beds were so comfortable--I slept like a rock every night after long, fun-filled days. The food was amazing. Every meal felt hearty, fresh, and exactly what you'd want after a day in the great outdoors. You definitely won't go hungry here. The property itself is stunning--surrounded by breathtaking views that made it hard to put the camera down. And there's no shortage of things to do: trail rides, UTV tours, ax throwing, skeet shooting, line dancing--you name it. We were never bored.
