We booked a horseback ride and fly fishing for the same day on the Chase Sapphire Reserve rewards portal. First time on a horse in over 20 years. Our guide was great (Makena?) I don't know what I was expecting, but it the ride was a little slow, but the scenery was beautiful and it was very relaxing. First time fly fishing! Very relaxing and fun experience. Our guide was great (Devon). While we paid with points, so it was basically "free", it is a little pricy. Turpin Meadows Ranch was well kept about an hour an 20 min drive from the Teton Village. You can rent a cabin to stay on the property. They also have camping trips with horse back riding and fly fishing (future trip idea!).

Rooms were nice and dark! Very quiet place for good sleeping. Gas fireplace offered lovely ambience. Did not appreciate the dog hair in the rugs. Breakfast was average.

Great stay at the ranch. Beautiful grounds and nice staff that went out of their way to make your stay a nice one. No attitude whatsoever. Emily is a great manager and hostess. She gave us a thorough overview of everything that was offered at the ranch. Biking? They have bikes. Hiking? They have bear spray. Fishing? They have gear and they offer lessons. Horseback riding? Two sessions are offered every day by one of their wranglers. On our last day we had low tire pressure due to the low temperature the evening before and Emily made sure her staff refilled our tires so we could get off the mountain safely. Autumn, the very capable waitress manning the whole diner, also made us especially comfortable. She remembered our beverage of choice and brought it to us at the start of every meal without us asking after our first meal at the ranch. She was also helpful in giving us tips on how to cure elevation sickness. The food was delectable, the service was personable, and the cabin was really nice for a cabin in the boonies - updated shower and a gas fireplace to keep you warm at night. The view surrounding the property is unbelievable, so beautiful it didn't look real in the photos. Not much more I can say but if you're looking for a dude ranch to stay at this one should be at the top of your list.

The only negative I have to say about this Ranch is the lack of online presence. I debated even booking this Ranch because they did not have a lot of reviews but I am so glad we did. We did everything here the fly fishing, side by sides, horseback riding and enjoyed it all. I would recommend doing all of it but definitely don't miss the side by side rentals such a great experience on the trails they program for you. With all the activities I would say you just need to book the smaller time frames we booked some longer hours but could have gone a bit shorter just depends what you enjoy. The food was delicious. Staff was fabulous. The only thing I would say is that you don't really know what all they have unless you ask. No one is pushy about anything it's very laid back so anything you want to do just ask and they will make it happen. This is an absolutely fabulous place to come on a family reunion, work retreat or group of friend. Stay two nights don't leave the ranch and book all your activities here.

We stumbled on to this gem by accident. It's along Buffalo Valley Rd east of Moran Wyoming. It's a guest ranch with cabins and horseback riding among other activities. We drove up at lunchtime and decided to try it out. The food was wonderful. I had the burger and salad and my wife had the grilled cheese sandwich and fries. We started with a cup of sweet potato bisque and finished with their baked when you order chocolate chip cookie served in a small skillet (allow 20 min). The brioche roll on the burger was soft and easy to wrap your mouth around. The burger had fried onions. Fresh salad greens and choice of ranch or blue cheese, both of which are probably chef prepared as was the mayonnaise. All in all the best food we've encountered in the Jackson area. Unfortunately the ranch closes September 30 for the season. We will be back next year.

I can't quite describe our affection and appreciation to TMR for our recent ranch experience. Not only was every activity well supervised and instructive like with Emily our wrangler, John our nature guide and Joe our fishing instructor but when our daughter had an unexpected medical emergency Ron and his wife were quick to listen and respond with help getting to the Jackson hospital. All ended well but can't thank Turpin folks enough for a great ranch experience and for renewing our belief in the gift of having a great human spirit. read more

The trail rides, ATV's, fly fishing and tour to Yellow Stone were all incredible! The service is top notch and everyone on the ranch was welcoming and very accommodating. The log cabin are comfortable and the views are breathtaking ! We really enjoyed the food. Myra the breakfast chef was great! She served different items every morning and was very accommodating. There was something for everyone! The packed lunch for our excursion's were great and the lunch and dinner's were better than some 5 star restaurants we've eaten at! We will definitely return! read more

Horrible place. Everyone was coughing and sounds like a COVID outbreak. I was there a few days ago with my fiancee and people were rude and it looks rundown. I was told by a friend of mine from US Bank that the food was horrid. They need to take their health seriously and not have COVID to where people could get ill. Wr had a wonderful 2 night stay. My husband and I came here for our 26th anniversary and the team made us feel like family. Special shout out to JUSTIN - he is infectiously happy and knowledgable and doted on us. That kind of attentiveness is rare. Another shout out to Elee - she is an amazing Nordic ski instructor. She gave me the best outing with perfect instruction and now I'm hooked! She's also a lovely human:) Collin in the bar is awesome and the chef made amazing meals. This place is a slice of heaven and the staff is warm and welcoming. We will be back. read more

Absolutely lovely stay at Turpin Meadow Ranch. It is about 15-20 minutes from the highway through a windy but beautiful country road, so it is completely isolated from everything. It is so incredibly peaceful. All you hear are the birds, crickets and river running. The grounds are breathtaking and everything is set up to have a perfect stay. Lounging chairs by the river, chairs set up to view the ranch and enjoy a drink from the fabulous bar, games all around the property. The food was sensational! The complimentary breakfast buffet was out of this world delicious. The dinners are 5 star quality. When I ordered a mojito, the bartender went to the little garden outside to get fresh mint! The food was a bit cold at times, but nonetheless, delicious. Horseback riding was a lovely experience with Rachel who was warm and personable. The view at the top was breathtaking. She took plenty of pictures of us, too. The cabin was upgraded, and the beds so cozy. Ample bedding and pillows were provided. A coffee machine with pods and creamer were left and the fridge came in handy. The fireplace was a nice touch, but we didn't use it since it was July. There were tons of bugs out when sitting on the (adorable) porch, so bring bug spray! We got many bug bites the first night. All of the staff stays out of your way. No one really greeted, approached or acknowledged us unless we first did so. They may be trained to just allow the guests space and not engage unless initiated, or maybe it's the culture there. I am not sure. A bit more engagement would have been nice. (No one told us about the different amenities offered on the property such as bike rentals, utvs etc.) It's important to note that a 15% tip is added to the cost. This is based off, not only your activities and meals, but also your actual room rate. It added 350.00 more to the cost for us which was quite a bit. Just keep this in mind. We had a beautiful experience at this ranch, and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a splurge on a special trip! read more

Loved it . The weather was cold and windy mixed with some rain . Yet it was a wonderful horseback riding experience . Our wrangler , Macy, was entertaining and light hearted . We enjoyed walking thru the streams and the hill top view into the gold fall valley . We stayed for a delicious chicken sandwich in the bar . We loved all the atmosphere and the warm fire . read more

We had the best experience at Turpin Meadow Ranch! We came to Jackson for a ski trip and wanted to experience snowmobiling on our last day. The booking process was seamless and we arrived to the ranch ready to take off on our adventure. Our guide, Clint, explained everything we needed to know before take off. The ranch provided jackets, bibs, gloves and helmets. We wore leggings and underarmour underneath and our crew was fine for the 3 hour tour. After suiting up, Clint took us through the Wyoming wilderness on an incredible tour. We even hit a blizzard and he navigated like a PRO! He also gave us some nature lessons and pointed out animal tracks. Us Jersey gals had the best time ever and recommend this for anyone looking for an incredible experience. Thank you Clint and Turpin Meadow for hosting us. We will be back!! Lauren, Maddie and Kate read more

After battling cancer during covid so no vacations for 4 yrs I made plans to go to Turpin Meadows. My husband and I visited Turpin Meadow for a day. We did a 3 hour guided horse back ride through Turpin Meadow. Our guide, Dani, was great! She was knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. Very helpful for 2 novice riders and made us feel comfortable. She was very fun and personable, which made for a great experience! And the views of the Tetons were amazing! We had lunch at the ranch, which was delicious! Highly recommend the burger & a margarita with jalapeño infused tequila. In the afternoon, we did a 4 hour guided fly fishing trip with Carter. He was an exceptional teacher and very knowledgeable. He knew where there would be many fish biting and we caught 5 fish! As being someone who has never fly fished before, Carter made me feel comfortable and successful. We had a blast getting to know him, learning about the fish and the river area! HIGHLY recommend any of the activities at Turpin Meadow! read more

My friend and I decided to take a day off from downhill at Jackson Hole and venture (on locals' recommendation) to Turpin Meadows. It was a truly delightful experience, and a welcome change from the bustle of the ski resort and town. The scenery is spectacular and the cross-country trails suit all ranges of ability--I'm a novice cross country skier but had no difficulty on the beginner trails. I found the price of rental gear and trail access very reasonable. The staff is all exceptionally accommodating. In addition, the lodge is just so perfect and as everyone reports, the food way exceeds expectations. If I could do it all over again, I would have stayed overnight to really relax at the scenic lodge and sample the gourmet dinner. read more
I've been to Turpin Meadows twice now, and both times were awesome. Here's the thing: you cannot beat the setting--it's absolutely beautiful, tucked into the mountain, the exterior is a ranch-style. The twinkling accent lights are warm and inviting as you enter the front door/porch. The interior is cozy and comfortable, and once you walk a little further in, you see the amazing dining area complete with a sitting place next to the fire, and big comfy leather chairs with western style decor. This place is a must-experience because of the atmosphere alone! The food is excellent, and they offer a great gluten free options. The 3-4 course option is perfect if you're looking to splurge a little. Everything was superb, the prices are spot on, the food maybe a bit higher but definitely worth it--you're probably on vacation, right? Bar was same prices as most places, but with an exquisite fireplace and mountain backdrop. Can't beat it around these parts--it's like its straight out of a movie. Highly recommended. read more

Love this place. Great vacation for the whole family. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. The room was spacious and very comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed including a lovely cat named Eve. We rode horses, fly fished, road bikes, hikes, roasted marshmallows and more! Great family holiday. We came with my 16 year old son and his grandmother. If you want the ranch experience with an amazing view of the Tetons, this is the place to visit. read more

We had a wonderful vacation there. We stayed in the chalet and our friends were in a cabin. Both were lovely and well appointed. The staff was incredibly welcoming - we spent a good bit of time in the main lodge sipping drinks in front of the fire, playing games and enjoying the daily changing meals. They have lots of choices for adventurous travelers, too.... but for us, it was a relaxing time in a beautiful setting. We would love to visit again. read more

I really couldn't give Turpin Meadow enough stars. I took my mom here for her birthday and while I was expecting plenty of activities and good food, I was blown away by the impeccable service and gourmet food! The staff was so friendly and willing to really go above and beyond in service and the food?! The food should get it's own review. On a ranch, I was expecting quality meats but more larger quantity dishes, however the menu was different every night, made to order and spectacular. We had planned to spend my mom's birthday dinner someplace in Jackson, but the food was so good at the ranch, we cancelled our reservation and were very pleased! read more

Even if you're not staying here, plan ahead and make a reservation for dinner. We had originally planned to head to Jackson Hole for dinner after a long day of hiking and sightseeing, but my wife (as always) had better judgement and made us a reservation for their 7:45pm dinner seating. The chef has a daily menu and you can order a la carte or price fixe for a 3 or 4 course meal. My wife had the 3 course, I had the 4 course. Service and food were EXCELLENT. On par withour favorite restaurants around the world and a great value to boot. We both had the bison entree and it was amazing. Good size portions. Had to take the desserts to go. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. read more

We had such a blast staying at Turpin Meadow Ranch! The views of the Tetons are stunning and the cabins are super cozy. Our second horseback riding adventure in Jackson area and if we hadn't done this one, we'd have thought our first was really cool! Turns out our first tour company had both our saddles adjusted WRONG and it hurt so much --but we thought we were just unused to riding... The ladies at Turpin Meadow checked and re-checked and readjusted our stirrups several times until they were satisfied and we were pretty spry when we came off the horses at the end. Our first guide didn't talk to us almost at all (rode her horse facing the trail) and this time our guide Selena rode sideways on her horse (not easy!) to talk to us and tell us about wrangling horses, the horses on this ranch, etc. We had such fun! Also, our first experience rode alongside the highway for 1/3 of the trip.... this ranch is so far out in the backwoods that I saw a COUGAR when we were leaving on the 11 mile road to the real road. I confirmed this with our next tour guide on the river and he said that's super rare! The first tour company was near Jackson and therefore convenient but the folks working out here in the boondocks love their jobs and it shows, and we were outside in nature the whole ride! One guide wears her dog on a backpack to bring it along with her! How cute is that!! read more

Turpin Meadow Ranch is a gem of a property located about an hour from Jackson (on of one of the more beautiful drives in the world). They have a fantastic Teton range view, but are away from the crowds downtown. The lodge is well decorated in a guest ranch meets gentleman's hunting lodge style and the cabins and chalets are similar, with Pendleton blankets and modern bathrooms. The property was recently renovated, so, everything feels up to date (in contrast to most of the guest ranches in the area). The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and really make you feel at home. The restaurant is also fantastic, it's amazing they have a chef of that quality on staff. Forget the typical (mundane) guest ranch fare...these guys are on a whole different level, without being pretentious or stuffy, and they make virtually everything in house and seem to use predominately local ingredients. We have been here to stay in both the Winter and Summer/Fall seasons. In the Winter, they have miles the best XC ski trails (groomed to perfection) in the Jackson Hole area. They also have snow bike trails and are a jumping off point for endless miles of snowmobiling on Towgotee Pass. After a few hours of skiing or riding around, you can retreat to the lodge for a hearty lunch or dinner by the fire, or relax in their cozy bar. In the Summer, they have loads of activities from hiking to horse back riding to fishing, and they are a short drive from the entrance to GTNP and Yellowstone. We are just waiting for them to put in a hot tub (or, better yet, a couple scattered around the property), that's really the only piece of the puzzle we have come up with that could really put TMR over the top. Don't miss it...you will not regret it. read more

We just returned from 5 amazing nights at this beautiful ranch. The setting is stunning, the accommodations lovely, the food is INCREDIBLE and the staff is simply wonderful. The Ranch is only 30 minutes from the Moran Junction entrance to Grand Teton National Park, which makes it ideal for exploring the park. I went on one of their horseback rides and the guide was so knowledgable about the flora and fauna of the area. It was so great to get a naturalist as our horse guide! We rode the fat tire bikes as well. The managers are so welcoming! In addition the staff provided such great advice on the best hiking trails! We will be returning again for certain. Everything about Turpin Ranch exceeded our expectations. It is simply fantastic!!!! read more

CooI ranch that was recommended to us by family who stayed there before. Went for some snowmobiling and cross-country skiing - they had some nice trails that were well groomed and you get some beautiful views of the surrounding mountains (bring a camera!). The cabins were nice and cozy for us, and they have a restaurant in the main lodge which had really good food. The staff was all really friendly, and rates were reasonable for the area. It's a neat tucked-away place, we liked that it was far enough away from everything to be quiet and relaxing but we were just a short drive to Jackson for some shopping. read more

Wow. What a magical place. After hours of off-roading through Teton National Park we couldn't believe our eyes when we actually arrived to Turpin Ranch and walked inside to warm soup, hot coffee and a crackling fire. This is a true mountain oasis in the middle of the sprawling winter scenery of the Tetons. Everything seemed to slow down the second we entered the Ranch and it was hard to bring ourselves to leave. We can't wait to return again soon to experience all that Turpin Ranch has to offer. read more

I researched and did my homework for 6 months for a place to stay in Jackson Hole Wyoming. I kept being drawn back to the Turpin Meadow Ranch. I am so thankful I picked this place. I can't say enough good things about this Ranch. The cabins were absolutely awesome along with the main lodge and the staff. Ron and Bobbie the mangers really know how to run a first class operation. All the people that work here are just so personable and there for all your needs. Every trip we went on was set up by the staff from horseback riding, rafting, Yellowstone and hiking and it was all amazing. I will definitely be returning to the Turpin Meadow Ranch. I highly recommend this place if you are planning a stay in Jackson Hole. The buffet breakfast every morning is very good. The bacon and sausage was the best I have ever eaten. We booked the half day snowmobiling group tour, and it was absolutely incredible. The trails were great and the snow was absolutely bottomless! We had a blast driving around in the deep powder in big open bowls along the Continental Divide Trail. While we had perfect snow conditions, everything not relating to the weather was just as perfect - our guide was extremely knowledgable, and accommodated our group perfectly. Everyone we interacted with from asking questions while booking to grabbing a meal before we left was incredible. While it is about an hour drive from Jackson (if you aren't staying at the ranch), I 100% will be booking another snowmobile tour with Turpin Meadow Ranch during our next visit without thinking twice! read more

Turpin Meadow is a hidden gem! My husband and I both enjoyed every minute as well as our 2 children (ages 9 and 10). The food was excellent and offered a variety of gourmet food each night. The Bartender made delicious drinks. The staff could not have been nicer. My children adored Jacob and Riley. The horseback riding was amazing with the sweetest guides who went the extra mile to make sure my little girl wasn't scared. We enjoyed a full day in Yellowstone with Joey. He was so knowledgeable and took the stress out of navigating through Yellowstone on our own. We stayed 4 nights at Turpin and moved on for the rest of the trip but all 4 of us wish we had stayed at Turpin the whole trip. It was amazing! read more

The skiing was awesome and the views spectacular. We skied the flat land in front of the ranch in the morning then broke for a fabulous lunch at the ranch. One of the best salads I've eaten and my husband said the same about his juicy bacon laden hamburger. In the afternoon, felt like a nap but had to try out the intermediate level of skiing behind the ranch. There is a steep hill up to the intermediate level of x-country skiing that I admit I had to take my skis off to climb and come down but once there it was a series of rolling hills, very doable and lovely. ( We understand it was designed by Olympic x-country skiers.) A wonderful experience and we are looking forward to making this a regular trip. read more

Our family of 5 (3 young adults and mom and dad) had a great 2-hour ride with Sam and Moe leading us. Total of 15 horses were very well behaved, plodding nose to tail from the lead horse to the rear. Beautiful vistas and climbs in the aspens. We saw grouse and hoped to see more wildlife but the time of day 2-4 pm was too hot for them to be out. The guides gave excellent instructions suitable for beginners and were very fun to chat with on the trail. Everything was ready to ride on time. This ride isn't adventurous for the experienced horse rider but works great for a mixed group like us. fun and affordable family activity during our Teton/Yellowstone vacation. read more

What a beautiful place to visit! This vacation exceeded all our expectations! From horse back riding to a side by side ride all within what I would call Gods country. The staff is all amazing and are happy to be there. Maddy was so sweet and kind. Loved visiting with her. Liv had the such an out going personality and was hilarious. Maddy and Liv .... Thank you! Loved this place, took all excursions they offered, ate dinner 2 night's, food was very good, Carter was a n excellent fishing guide, the only complaint was and too me a very big one, was we wanted a later check out time @1pm instead of 11 am and was told the room wasn't going to be occupied till the next day, then was told that for every 30 minutes past 11 am it would be $25 dollar's, so they wanted another $100 after I sent over $2000 during my stay. Sadly I will not be going back, wanted to do a winter trip there, but I'll find another place that has more customer courtesy. read more

We absolutely had a wonderful experience at Turpin Meadow Ranch! We did the horseback trail ride and our wranglers McKenna and Madeline were exceptional... friendly, patient, charismatic, yet very professional. They obviously enjoy what they do. We booked a half day horseback ride at Turpin Ranch and had a great time. Our wrangler, Noel, was very knowledgeable and fun. We went mid-September and the colors were beautiful. Amazing place! So clean, well kept, ranch is groomed, mowed and gorgeous. Staff is so pleasant and informative. We did a guided fishing trip with Max and Carter with 3 daughters. They were beyond kid friendly, so fun to hang out with and had great personalities. This place gets a gold star for customer service! You can tell everyone enjoys their job. read more

AMAZING. I can't say enough about TMR. Can I give 6 stars? Exceeded our expectations on our 5 day trip. Everyone at the lodge made us feel like we were friends and family visiting their home. Everything was exceptional. Food & wine was simply epic. Thank you to all of our (new) friends at TMR. We will be back for sure! read more

We came for the afternoon. Started our adventure off with some lunch, and then tried Fat Biking. We have a large family, but when we got there the bikes were all set out ready for us to go... there was not wait time. The trails were nicely laid out, and it was not too hard to figure out where to go! The views were also great. read more

Our family went for the two hours horseback ride and loved every minute of it. The trail is beautiful with amazing views. Our guides Sam and Samantha were knowledgeable, fun, and patient. It rained for part of the ride, but it only added to the atmosphere with some cool refreshing weather. Would definitely recommend! read more
