Their staff members are all rockstars in their field who are eager to give you the time of your life while making it all seem effortless. They love their job which makes it easy for the guests to relax into indulging the comfortable lodging, delicious food (catered to dietary preferences) and fun activities. My family is vegan and the kitchen prepared creative dishes for us at every meal time. We liked the variety of trail rides customized to each family members riding ability, and enjoyed the private river float with truly exceptional guides. We do recommend a car to explore hikes or sights around the area and venture into Yellowstone. And yes, the weather can be somewhat unpredictable - we got rained, hailed and snowed on in July... - and mosquitoes are plentiful. Just remember you are in the natural habitat of all sorts of wildlife.

All I knew about it was that it was located in Grand Teton National Park. Driving to it you realize you're very isolated being that it is located about 20 minutes from Jackson. The cabins are part of a greater operation. They share the grounds with Dornan's Pizza and Pasta, grocery store, wine shop, and gift shop. I'll review each individually in this review. The cabins are duplexes that are grouped together in a small circle and are named. We stayed in Osprey. Each has a small porch with a charcoal grill for your barbecuing pleasure, and an ashtray if that's your thing.The decor is comfortable and inviting. The only part of the cabin that has carpet is the bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, stove, and oven with basic cooking apparatus. The living room has a sofa bed and two very large comfortable chairs. There is also this thing called a telephone, but there isn't a tv. The wifi signal is strong and we were able to stream movies with no issues. The Snake River and Grand Tetons are behind the cabins. The view can be pretty incredible depending on the weather. It rained and snowed most of the time during our stay. If you don't feel like cooking, Dornan's Pizza and Pasta is a short walk. The food is pretty good. I had the vegetarian Stromboli and the Mrs. had a pizza. The restaurant also has a bar. If you want booze, there is a wine shop that has a really good selection of wine, beer, and hard alcohol. The prices are pretty reasonable. FYI-Wyoming is one of those states that has archaic liquor laws. Booze can't mingle with regular groceries. There is also a small grocery store and deli that makes incredible sandwiches. I suggest grabbing a sandwich to take with you when explore Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons. If you need souvenirs, Dornan's has that covered as well. You can even buy gas at a rather reasonable price. As accommodation prices go, Dornan's cabins are lower compared to the rest of the area. You don't get the glitz and glamour that is Jackson Hole, but you get peace and quiet. The staff were all very nice as well.

These cabins are located just outside the south entrance to Grand Teton, in a little village complex that includes a gas station, grocery store, liquor store, and a couple of restaurants. The cabins themselves are very comfortable, definitely an upscale feel, similar to what you'd find at Jenny Lake, but for half the price. One and two bedroom options are available, and each includes a full kitchen, dining table, bathroom, and living room with a pull-out sofa bed. There are only 12 cabins total (8 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom). If you're planning a trip, book early because they sell out fast.

You get your dedicated wrangler to guide you horse back rides. The wranglers are always working and never complain. The cabin was heaven. So easy pass out and the beds were comfy. No TV but that's ok. It was nice to unwind. I spent many evenings on the rocking chair on the porch Make sure you look at the sky again night. So many stars that it takes your breath away. I woke my family up to see There is a game room which my son loved hanging out in so he can play chess with other guests The food was tasty. We had a cook out for one of the dinners along w line dancing which was fun. There was a dinner bell which was cool We ate lunch at the top of the mountain during our all day horseback tour Being next to the river was refreshing One night we went into Jackson hole to the rodeo. They picked up/dropped off from the airport (don't recall if it was extra but worth it) All the guests were friendly so it made my trip all the more relaxing I really loved this place and I can't wait to go back

Service and staff at the resort were excellent.. I would have given it five stars except I had to subtract one for the rude, unpleasant and condescending girl named Melissa at front desk.. I felt the last place she should have been in was at front desk because she was not just bad in attitude, but actually down right rude to guests! She was the only detraction from this wonderful, relaxing and beautiful Diamond Resort, of which I have been a proud member of for 23 years!

It was really nice. We would stay there again. We stayed in the new building, which I think they call Broadway. Breakfast is not included. They charge $20/per person which I first through was high until I got used to the town. Jackson is very expensive. Other than getting a breakfast burrito to go from D.O.G. (which is awesome, by the way) you will find $20 to be on par, or cheaper, than any other breakfast you can get in town. Plus, this one is cooked to order and served in the relaxed atmosphere of the Inn. If you need breakfast included there is one other hotel in town in the same price range that offers a buffet, but having stayed at Huff House, Since breakfast may be a sticking point for some, it shouldn't be. Here's why; there are a lot of food options in town. We stayed at Huff House for 4 nights. Had breakfast there once. It was superb. No complaints, but it was also nice to try some of the other places right next door (Cafe Genevieve, Persophone, and D.O.G.). I think you will like the variety PLUS you have a fridge and microwave in your room so you may just have leftovers from last night's dinner you'll want to heat up instead. Options! I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It's great.

***This place is now closed... ****…read more ....but it was saved also by an anonymous donor, whom then donated the property and cabins to the National Park for employee housing. We absolutely adore (former owners and Moulton Ranch hosts) Hal and Iola Blake.. and had stayed here numerous times. We ate dinner with the two one evening and it was a privilege. They were, and still are, wonderful people, whom sold the facility after having run it for many years. When we did stay here, Hal and/or Iola were up from sunrise to sunset doing yardwork, maintenance. They truly poured their heart and soul into this place. It was an absolute honor to have stayed here. I recall numerous times during various stays here, we'd awaken around 3 AM and go outside and saw more stars than ever before. We saw bear on the property during several stays. We saw buffalo stampedes running down the gravel road in front/back in fields as well. I also recall, from our cabin window, we saw a buffalo stand off against horses in a field. The National Park kept horses in a nearby field, fenced, and a buffalo jumped the fence.. as it did, the horses lined up shoulder to shoulder and stared at the buffalo. The buffalo looked at them, then trotted and jumped over the other side of the fence, as it was "cutting through." We also saw a coyote sleeping by our cabin during the day. We will never forget our stays at this place, nor the views. It was an absolute gem, close the to Park, along Mormon Row. I am betting we took 1000 pictures during our numerous stays at this place. The accommodations were always comfortable, spotless clean, and the owners were amazing hosts. I wish Hal and Iola Blake, and their family, the absolute best in their retirement, as they were two of the nicest, most genuine, down-to-earth people we've ever met anywhere. I cannot imagine we'll ever stay at a more scenic, hidden-gem place ever again in our lifetime.. anywhere. We certainly may never meet nicer people than the Blakes. We really got to know them during our numerous stays here. They are blessed people. I will always smile when recalling our 5 pm walks down the gravel road, petting horses, smelling the mountain air, with mountains in all directions. I will also never forget our first stay here, years ago... what a spectacular experience we had each stay....

We had wild Bison walking just outside the fence so you could get great pictures (safely). Iola is a fantastic host. The place is VERY clean, has a great full kitchen and outdoor gas grill. They also have a fire pit for s'mores if the wind isn't too bad! The cabin fit our family of 4 well, larger families might be a little cramped. The place is very quiet, and rustic. They have wifi but it's weak and there's no phone or TVs, although Verizon service does work there. Great place to completely unplug and you are minutes from everything the Grand Teton National Park has to offer. Would definitely return and recommend, even though its a little pricey - well worth it.
