This was my first time staying in an honest to goodness Conestoga wagon, and it was truly luxurious. Not words I ever imagined typing. Pulling into Moose Creek Ranch was not immediately remarkable, but beginning to walk the grounds, I felt the persistent mountain breeze, heard the babbling Trail Creek, and saw the peaceful natural surroundings and well-manicured grounds all commanding my recognition. Then there were the comfortable environs of the ranch buildings, inclusive of the cozy lodge room, a game area, and a spot for breakfast, all with a chill music soundtrack wafting through. The staff were friendly through and through. We took advantage of a trail ride with Biscuit, our wrangler, the morning of the 4th of July, and enjoyed his capable, humorous guidance through a forest trail near the Ranch, capably tailed by Rooster the resident corralling canine. And now back to the Conestoga wagon. These things boasted bunk beds and a king size, with a full bathroom, small sitting area, pre-stocked mini bar with room for your own items, plentiful plugs/USB ports, and a highly capable mini-split AC system. Ridiculous (in a good way)! If the original Westward Ho movement had these things, Manifest Destiny would have hinged on thread-count, and we'd have never made it past Ohio. These things would be the Airstreams of the 1800s. Loved the experience. This might be the experience you needed, even if you didn't know it.

We had one outside bed in lower living room and needed an extra bed for my son. The staff was extremely friendly and helped us with a small foldable foam bed. House was well maintained and we had no complaints. One small suggestion would be if they could put out a garbage disposable outside or behind the house that can be easily identifiable. We initially struggled a bit to spot the garbage disposal box.

We had plenty of room for everyone. Of the 8 bedrooms, 6 have king size beds, and two of them have private full baths. There are 3 additional full baths for the others. The cabin itself is pretty new, so everything was clean and in working order. The location is very close to the west entrance to the park, and is convenient to downtown shops and restaurants. The kitchen had plenty of plates, silverware, pots and pans, etc. I was especially impressed with the quality of the pots and pans, very nice for a rental. The cabin also has a full sized washer and dryer, which was very convenient. The WIFI was available, but I have to say it is not very fast. Considering the location, this was not too surprising. There were no problems with billing, or unexpected charges. Overall a great choice for a large party, I highly recommend this location!

You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in this rental cabin it is always very clean and very affordable! We love the foosball table and the horse shoe pit. The Traeger grill is a nice bonus too. Mattresses are very comfy, great shower and we actually had pretty good luck fishing on Henry's Lake, and now there is the Yellowstone Playmill Theatre located just down the road. We will definitely give this place a nice review and we will definitely be back in our Yellowstone trips! Cabin sleeps 10 and yes dogs are accepted. Neighbors are also pretty friendly so that's good. Way better than staying at a motel, everything is furnished just have to bring your own food and bathroom stuff. The fire pit is a lot of fun too. We like to go for walks on the nature trails or out to the highway. Just a Great Place!!

Stainless steel appliances, flat screen tv, brand new bathroom, washer/dryer. This is the perfect place to call home after a long day of Montana adventures! Prices are very reasonable, too. We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 1 bath "Creekside" cottage and I believe it was just $220/night! The super 8 motel down the street charges $250/room. There is a front and back porch. Back porch looks over small bubbling stream. It is very relaxing! Highly recommend Brook Trout Inn!

I can honestly say reading many of the reviews online ~ people are hypercritical to a point of such unrealistic expectations their reviews are unreliable. Now, I can say such from experience. If you're wishing for the Marriott Country Club at 1/3 discounted price ~ then yes. You'll absolutely be disappointed on every level. It isn't the Marriott with five pools and perfection. You're welcome to pay the price elsewhere if these are your standards. The Fairbridge lives by its name. It is the most and modest fair hotel I've found. It is cost effective. It is clean given winter conditions. Sometimes there maybe ice or snow tracked into the hallway. It is a high altitude mountainous area. Expect some conditions. It has been unbelievably quiet and safe. The safest hotel I've ever stayed. With exception of the Hilton when it was empty. The Fairbridge is a true refuge. If you're looking for safety first ~ quiet and respectful neighbors ~ a little rugged like a mountain town is ~ like a small one bedroom cabin. Then yes. This is your place. It isn't the Marriott Country Club. It is down to earth and real. Like true Idahoan's are. It is humble, safe and quaint. The staff is by far the most helpful and the most kind I've ever met. Their patience for others brings tears to my eyes. These are genuinely good people. Some of the best in the world. And, by staying here ~ maybe you can keep apart of old Idaho in your heart. Genuine humility, goodness and focus on what truly matters in life. While visiting one of the most precious states in the US. My suggestion to the hypercritical ~ remember what matters.
