Everything was phenomenal. I had the lamb which may very well be the best lamb I've ever had. My friends raved about the salmon and filet mignon. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and the service was amazing. The appetizers were the bomb and we loved the byob and being served option. I would give this experience a 15/10. Our entire family believe's this ranch, and these wonderful people running this operation, are some of our favorites. Great food, a nice setting and the kind of atmosphere you don't find anywhere else! Pack Trips: Over the years we've enjoyed a couple pack trips, the kids were pretty young (7 and 8) then again ages 10, and 11. Both trips (two nights and 6 nights) were led by a great crew including Melissa, Peter Linn and Tyson. The entire experience(s) was just 5 star! A remarkable experience for children and parents. Wedding: So when it was the right time to get married, well it was a pretty easy choice for us. Just attended an incredible wedding here: - Gorgeous, easily accessible ranch - Best wedding food and appetizers I've ever had: super moist and flavorful meat, super fresh veggies, baked briefly, nothing mushy or buffet feeling. We thought the brisket was some of the best we'd ever had. All of the food was so perfect. Which is so rare and hard to do for a huge wedding - Family owned and run, all the staff were so friendly and professional - Great bar and drinks, bonfire that goes late with s'mores, lawn games, nice restrooms, ample camping area for guests....everything we needed for a great time. - The ceremony was held in a magical-feeling clearing, with a short walk through aspens and wildflowers. read more

We just completed our second stay in their Cabin. The cabin is beautiful and very clean. The kitchenette had a mini-fridge, sink and coffee maker so we could have simple meals in the cabin. The shower is spa-like and the bed is comfortable. Sitting on the porch and drinking morning coffee or an adult beverage in the evening is very relaxing looking out onto the ranch as the horses run around the corral. The staff are very friendly and worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. The owner even rolled up his sleeves to help me with a flat tire. read more

We came for a quiet evening with family. Sleigh ride and dinner. We had reservations for 4:30, received a call requesting payment in advance and move our reservation time to 3:45, which we agreed to. We arrived at our newly agreed on time, we sat around without any interaction from staff for half an hour. Finally someone came in and announced that they were ready for our sleigh ride. The ride was through a pasture, near the horses, past a junk yard. After the ride, no further direction given, after 15 minutes, we were ushered upstairs to wait for appetizers, no elevator available, to sit in a room without any direction from staff. A half hour passed before appetizers were served. The other guests had several children that were loud and had no supervision, yelling and running through the waiting areas. After waiting for an additional hour, we made our way downstairs. We sat at our table and salads were served, we had to request forks. The dishes were cleared and after waiting an additional 45 minutes, our dinner order was confirmed. Another 45 minutes passed and our dinner was served, every order was wrong at our table, we ordered filet mignon, every steak was over cooked. My dinner was cold. Not impressed. Time management and communication need to be better. read more

First, let's talk about the location. It's on a ranch, with an idyllic setting, mountains in the background, a local farm to table concept, and horses to ride. They brought in a local musician for music, and had dogs roaming in the background. I didn't even have to eat the food before I was impressed. We started with shrimp, smoked salmon, and a Brie croute, served outside. The moved inside for a mixed greens salad with Gorgonzola cheese, candied walnuts, and the standard stuff. Had the pan seared salmon (nice sharp spice with a crispy outside and warm tender center) with scalloped potatoes in a baked cream sauce with snap peas (nice and crisp). Made a reservation two weeks in advance which was confirmed by the restaurant. Then we called the night before the reservation to see what menu options they would have and they decided to inform us they were canceling all reservations for the week. They somehow didn't think they should possibly call people who had made a reservation. We were unable to find a reservation for an anniversary dinner following their late cancellation. This is obviously absolutely inappropriate to not have the decency to call their customers and they have lost my business permanently as a result. read more

We recently had a corporate retreat near Jackson Hole Wyoming, and one night we had appetizers and dinner at Linn Canyon Ranch in Victor, Idaho. Such a charming, lovely place! Rustic, yet elegant. Before dinner we enjoyed appetizers on the grounds outside the lodge house. Bowls full of juicy prawns, platters of brie baked in pastry with berries, and crostini that tasted homemade - so buttery and garlicky! Dinner was served in a room in the lodge that accommodated the 30 of us comfortably. There was a fire going in the fireplace, candles on the table, and several chandeliers above that were dimmed to create ambiance. First came a salad of mixed greens and dressing, which were fresh and flavorful, and we had an entree choice of rack of lamb, filet mignon, or roasted chicken. I had the filet, and it was cooked to perfection! Seared on the outside, tender, juicy and pink on the inside. Some of my table mates had the rack of lamb, and pronounced it to be amazing - bones were picked clean! :) Dessert was a choice of creme brulee or chocolate torte. I had the creme brulee, and it was so creamy and flavorful, covered in crunchy burnt sugar. A perfect ending to a wonderful meal. After the meal a bonfire was lit on the grounds, and we mingled near the fire sipping wine and enjoying the stars. It was a beautiful evening. My now husband and I got married at Linn Canyon Ranch a couple of weeks ago. I LITERALLY cannot stop raving about how great Trudy and her amazing staff were!! Her staff decorated the ceremony site, cocktail area, and indoor reception area just as I had imagined it!!! It was breathtaking!! The appetizers and dinner were amazing!! I am vegan as well as a couple of my guests and asked Trudy if this could be accommodated. She was more than accommodating and made the best vegan meal I have ever had!! No exaggeration! And everyone said the salmon and steak was just as amazing!! We stayed at the cabin onsite while we were in town. It is so quaint! It was also really nice so that I didn't have to leave the wedding site and stress about time prior to the ceremony. Her staff also left us some of our wedding cake and cupcakes in the room for us to enjoy after the wedding!! Thank you Trudy and your amazing, always smiling staff!! Tonight we celebrated my daughter's 19th birthday at Linn Canyon Ranch. After a wonderful one hour horse back riding tour with Bradon (an amazing acrobatic trick rider that we saw at the Driggs rodeo last Friday... how lucky for us!), we went to the ranch for a delicious dinner. The food was beyond our expectations - absolutely great- and the service was good. They even offered TWO (!!!) gluten free desserts ! My husband and I went on a horseback riding/lunch trip. The sandwiches were beyond amazing (there was some sort of yummy mayo/sauce that I can't stop thinking about), the horses were great and our guide, BJ, was so sweet! We were the only ones on the ride alone with BJ and it was a blast! Beautiful views! We even stopped and took gorgeous pictures with all the Aspen Trees. read more

We went for an hour horseback ride then dinner and had a wonderful time throughout the whole night. For the hour horseback ride, we were taken up through the canyon behind the property to a bluff that overlooked the Teton Valley, then we circled around down a trail through the forest over a few streams and back to the property. Upon returning, one of the guides sat on the porch, played guitar, and sang while everyone on the ride got drinks and ate some world class appetizers including salmon, capers, home made guacamole, bread, and several wonderful dips. We then went into the wonderful dining room for a choice of salmon, rack of lamb or fillet mignon all of which were wonderful according to those who ate them. Dinner was followed by dessert, then a campfire outside with smores if you still had any room. Overall a great night, one thing to keep in mind is that the price listed on the website doesn't include tax or gratuity which is added automatically so the ride will be slightly more than just what is listed. Overall all four of us had a wonderful evening and will definitely be going back, maybe for one of their guided overnight rides. read more
