This property is amazing! For less than the price of a higher-end hotel room, we got a 2 bedroom home fully furnished and fully stocked. The suites have upgraded features, fixtures, appliances, bedding, and technology. The central location in Rexburg was ideal as a gathering spot while visiting our local friends and family for the holidays. Hosts were very responsive and attentive to our questions and needs, going above and beyond. Suite was very clean and comfortable. We will DEFINITELY be booking again in the future and highly recommend. read more

I loved my experience here. The place is really cheap for how good it is. Some of the stuff is really old and some is broken, but it didn't really matter. NEW ownership has saved this gem! I think it's been two years since new ownership has taken over and we have consistently stayed her instead of another hotel. They have purchased all new furniture and bedding, tv's etc. It's SO clean and spacious. Way better than any hotel you could stay at in Rexburg or I.F. We love that it's walking distance to Porter Park, the shopping strip and Campus. We LOVE the beds and asked for the brand so that we can buy one. I have never slept so good in my life! There is a full kitchen that I was able to cook and bake in, and all the cook/bake ware was there to use! Loved that it had a washer and dryer in side our suite! It was so helpful and I used it several times. Everything has been perfect, each time we stay. We have stayed probably 10-12 times now. Love it! read more

I had a poor experience during a one night stay at Raspberry Garden with the new owner. The property uses word discrepancies to mislead and confuse guests, and the property manager is very skilled twisting facts to shifting responsibility. I reserved a non-refundable two bedroom for six people through Booking.com. My reservation confirmation stated "breakfast included," but upon checking in on August 3rd, I discovered that breakfast was only included for one person, despite my reservation for six people. The property claimed they informed me via email after the reservation confirmation, but I did not see it until I checked back and found that the bottom of the reservation confirmation page stated, "Free meal vouchers for one guest per booking." This is the first time I've encountered this kind of breakfast inclusion notice after completing a non-refundable full payment transaction. There was no specific disclosure of what "breakfast included" meant before payment. Typically, "breakfast included" means for the full capacity of the reservation. Moreover, using "meal" instead of "breakfast" is misleading and confusing. After I communicated with the property, they said if I disagreed with the one-person breakfast policy, I could have canceled the reservation before checking in. However, my reservation was non-refundable, making this suggestion impractical. Additionally, after paying all the taxes (including city tax ) and fees $229.09 through Booking.com, Raspberry Garden sent me an extra link to request an additional $12.01 for the hotel city tax before they would provide the door code, without prior notice before the reservation. If I refuse, I will lose all my payment. I checked in at 10:40 PM on August 3rd, and one of the two bedrooms was locked. I called the property to resolve this issue. Shortly after, we found the shower water was lukewarm, and the hot water ran out quickly. After two people took showers, there was not enough hot water. Since the third person had already taken a cold shower, and we had another three people waiting to shower, we reported the issue to the property at 11:27 PM. The property claimed, "We have not had any problems with our hot water before so just a precaution to not take long showers on very hot water," trying to place the error on us. But the reality was different. Only two people had taken hot showers for less than 20 minutes in total (since we had only checked in 45 minutes earlier and didn't have enough time for long showers). The maintainer came to adjust the temperature of the heater at 00:09 AM, 42 minutes after I reported the issue. Obviously, the heater was inadequate for six people to shower. I checked the reviews on Booking.com and found that I was not the only one with this problem; other people also mentioned the property's showers were cold. Property manager at 00:28 am texted me to ask if we can take a shower now. I replied to the property that some of my family had taken a rest without taking a shower. The property was unhappy because she woke up the maintainer. Aren't we the ones who should be unhappy? We had driven all day from Yellowstone Park. We ordered a hotel but hot water is inadequate to afford all the guests to take a shower. My mother, who is over 70 years old, and my kid is under 10. How can children and old people stay up so late waiting for hot water to come back. It was 00:30 am and it has been one hour since we reported the shower is cold. The next day, when we checked out at 8:57 AM, the property manager texted me said"YOU HAVE NEVER STAYED AT HOTEL BEFORE IN YOUR WHOLE LIFE". It is shocking me. I've booked a lot of hotels and never had a bad experience like this before. read more

Let me first start with the positives. The quality of materials in these apartments is better than anything else Rexburg has to offer. From the outside, everything seems standard, but once you walk in, you quickly realize how nice they really are. The insides have solid wood doors, very nice wood cabinets, all stainless steel energy efficient appliances including stackable a washer and dryer, granite counter tops, beautiful fixtures and lighting, and a finish that almost gives off a nice cabin vibe. The apartments are spacious, 2 bedrooms, coming in around 900 sq. feet in total. Truthfully, in my exhaustive experience of living in Rexburg and seeing pretty much everything it has to offer, you will be VERY hard pressed to find a more beautiful, luxury apartment. Now let me explain my 3-star review. The ownership here started off to a very rocky start. For the first part of our lease, the yard was poorly maintained, but significant improvements were made towards the end. It was rarely mowed. The winter was also pretty rough. We went through a tough winter with decent snowfall, but plows rarely came through. There were many times that we had to get our friends/neighbors to help push us out. Eventually, they finally had someone come to plow it, but it took far too long. Apparently, from what I hear, this past year has been much more smooth, as the owners have become more aware of the needs of the property and have taken care to take better care of it on a more frequent basis. They didn't have anyone to shovel the sidewalks, so one of our neighbors took it upon themselves to do it, which they got paid to do by the owners. The internet here was pretty bad, as I had extremely spotty coverage and often had less than 1mbps download speeds. I don't know if this has been changed, but the owners did mention that they were looking to make a change once their contract expired with their existing provider. While I was there, the apartments came with a standard Dish Network package, which unfortunately was pretty limited. For example, it has the the Oprah network but not ESPN. These are standard things you will come across anywhere in Rexburg, so none of these factors should deter you from living here. Again, many of these things have likely been improved, but should definitely be something you should ask about when considering to live here. Aside from the standard woes of renting, some of the apartments had mold inside the windows. From my best guess, it seemed that the moisture on the insides of the windows in the mornings was the major contributing factor to this. Supposedly, from my discussions with management, this issue has been resolved. However, this should be a top item of discussion when you walk through these apartments when you inspect them. No matter what anyone says, this issue is NOT caused by not changing the air filters, so don't let them fool you. I lived here for a year, and changed my air filter 6 months in. I've NEVER lived anywhere where a dirty air filter causes mold. Mold is caused by moisture, not dust. So be very aware of this going in. Also, we had a pretty unfortunate experience with our deposit that many of our friends experienced as well. I won't go in to lengthy detail about the disagreements we've had with the owners about this, but my advice would be to take serious note of anything and everything when you move in and maintain documentation of it for yourself in the future in case you are challenged on anything. This is sound advice for anywhere you live, as property managers have a tendency to make mistakes or forget issues that you might have raised in the past. If you don't point it out and bring it to their attention immediately, you are liable for damages. Also, be aware of any charges that you will be charged when you leave ahead of time and get them in writing. We were a little surprised by some of the things us and our friends were charged with, including cleaning the outside windows (which is silly, and the owners have since reached out to us to apologize and rectify the situation). From what I hear, The Raspberry Garden is no longer going to be requiring a deposit. I don't know if it's true, but that sounds great. Have open communication with the owners, and you should be ok. Again, I had a negative experience, but I appreciate management reaching out to me since to try and smooth things over, despite a VERY heated exchange here on Yelp which I am willing to move beyond. Tread lightly and proceed with caution if you decide to rent here. In conclusion, these apartments are the best looking things in town. They have a very cozy feel, and everyone is VERY surprised when they walk in at how nice everything is. You will be very pleased with your experience here, so long and management is running smoothly. I recommend speaking with current tenants and hearing what their experience has been like. Things likely have changed for the better. read more

I lived at Raspberry Garden for 8 months a little over a year ago. I work for a technology company now that focuses on helping organizations gather feedback to make data driven decisions. Having said that, I want to say the facts so anyone looking into living at Raspberry Garden can make an educated decision and enjoy their time there. My wife and I loved the apartments! The quality was fantastic. The lighting, the appliances, the location, and the price wasn't insane for the quality. I really did have an issue with the internet (currently going out and slow). I was stoked to hear about DISH but realized it didn't even include ESPN. The snow issue in the parking lot was pretty bad, there were multiple times I had to help my neighbors dig their cars out because the lot wasn't plowed. I lived in unit 11 and the heater kept going out. The mold Lj spoke of was certainly a problem in my unit. We also changed out air filters and kept our place well ventilated. The flood lights wouldn't come on until really late (well after dark) and I asked the managers to change it. They never did and my wife ended up falling down the stairs because she couldn't see. I immediately called Natali and Brock and they gave me the access to change it myself and gave us a $100 VISA card to make up for it. Natali and Brock are very nice people and I honestly feel they're doing their best. At the time I felt they lacked the management skills needed to run a complex. Giving the benefit of the doubt I'm assuming they made the necessary adjustments. There is a chance the managers have made the changes they claim and I hope they have. My feedback and advice is to do THOROUGH investigating before renting there to make sure it's the place for you. Go talk to current tenants and get their current feedback. Given my feedback, because of the quality of Raspberry Garden in Rexburg my wife and I would live there again. read more

This place is a gem! The apartments are great quality! Granite countertops, spacious, NICE washer and dryer, stainless steel appliances. If we have ever needed things fixed or even looked at they are on it and taken care of. Managers are great! Very nice, approachable easy to get in touch with. Close to the park and campus too. I love living at Raspberry Garden! They are gorgeous! Beautiful stainless steal appliances, and wood trimming everywhere! The fridge is huge with a pull out drawer, and the washer and dryer are new front loaders. I would describe my apartment as a lodge feel. I have read the review from LjN, and must say, I have never seen mold in my apartment nor had any problems like he described. My apartment stays very warm in the winter, so my heating bill is very low. The parking lot is always plowed. My favorite thing about the apartment is its proximity to campus. It's close enough that you can walk if you need to, but far enough away and off by itself so that you don't feel surrounded or enclosed by all of the other college apartments. Raspberry Gardens is my little oasis, and I love coming home. The managers are a very nice trustworthy couple, and are always available anytime I need anything. They are the kind of people that leave cookies at your door at Christmas! I can't stress enough how nice these apartments are. Luxury~ read more

The Raspberry Garden is beautiful. The best place i have ever seen. The counters are granite! And not like the cheap ugly discount throw up colored granite that was at the place I stayed at stonebrook apts - the granite here is like the higher end stuff - it is very rich in color. The appliances are all super nice maytag and samsung stainless steel gas powered models. It is almost too nice! I wouldn't want to live here with a toddler because of the anxiety that comes with a bull in a china shop - I would constantly be worried they would break something. Seriously! This place is that nice. The cabinets are all solid wood custom cabinets. The doors are all solid wood as well. The one thing that that could be improved is the yard. The owner said that the green space will be finished after the last bulding is done. It appears to be a work in progress. When the building is done and the project is complete I think yelp should add a sixth star for this place. read more
