The fridge is huge with a pull out drawer, and the washer and dryer are new front loaders.

This is my 2nd stay at an AmericInn on my road trip and both were seemingly identical. I think the…read moreonly difference was the pool. The rooms were the same except in my first stay I had a master suite and this time it was just a standard 2 room suite. Everything in the hotel was nice and clean. All the doors and counters and such were high quality. I'm starting to become a fan of AmericInn. I know a lot of people like their hotels to be different, but there is some sort of satisfaction about knowing what you are going to get when you walk into a hotel. I feel like I have this knowledge now with AmericInn. I ended up sleeping in so I missed the free breakfast so I can't really comment on that. The only real negative I have is that the elevator was sort of jenky and made some weird sounds. I enjoyed my stay here and I think I will have to start booking more stays at AmericInn. I give AmericInn Rexburg 4 Doubledays.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable to our liking. They had an ice machine, a couple low stocked vending machines and a large dining room area. The breakfast included the basics: cereal, oatmeal, fruit, waffles, yogurt and then some hot food. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Rexburg AmericInn is a relaxing and pleasant location to wind down. Will say, their little fridge/freezer was set on the coldest setting. So when we left a Kombucha in there it did explode and leave a mess everywhere.

We were told the hotel would be quiet since it was only 1/3 booked. However, we discovered that since this room was adjacent to the stairs it was noisy all night with people thumping up and down until 1:30 and again starting at 3:00 through 5:30. I talked to the desk manager about this following the first night and he offered a different room but since he said the hotel would certainly be quieter the upcoming night we opted not to go through the hassle of changing rooms. Well it was not quieter, if anything noisier, people thumping up and down the stairs until 2:00 in the morning and again starting at 3:45. I talked to the manager again after the second night suggesting perhaps they should comp one night of our stay. He refused to do so saying that he couldn't do anything since we had booked online and not directly through the hotel. The hotel personnel must know how noisy the rooms adjacent to the stairs are. I suggest that the stairs adjacent rooms should not be assigned until all other rooms are full, they are the worst rooms in the hotel. I sensed a prejudice towards customers who book online. I would never stay at this hotel again. One front desk employee was just plain rude when I came to discuss the noisy stairs after the second night. The desk manager guy was pleasant enough but displayed a prejudice toward customers who book through an online service.

We were expecting some little weird hotel room that was questionably clean. After all, it was only 60$! To our great surprise, this was nicer than a lot of the hotels we've stayed in!! The room was spacious, the bed was sooooooooo comfy, and the bathroom was perfectly clean. The pool was warm enough but still refreshing, and the hot tub had a sort of underwater disco vibe happening. Awesome. With our amazing stay at Super 8, we felt years away from Mormonville USA and if we ever end up back in these parts, you know we'll be here again! Also, FREE BREAKFAST and not just a bagel. They got that waffle maker, yogurt, mini donuts, oatmeal, etc.

They said it was because it was the weekend it was during the really bad snowstorm and all routes leading out of Rexburg were closed. The room that I had reserved was taken up by some other guest when we arrived so we were put in a different room. They said they were upgrading us to a suite that room was filthy, filthy, dirty! The carpets were not vacuumed. there was garbage under the beds. The blankets and bedspreads were filthy, dirty and smelled bad, the microwave oven had splashes of food all over on the inside of it. The sink that was connected to the kitchen area was filthy. Bad with all sorts of hard water stains. The bathroom was so disgusting we did not even dare to use the shower. The bathtub was coded with tons of soap scum the bathroom sink was filthy, dirty with toothpaste, stains from the previous guest and had soap scum all over the faucets and on the counter. The toilet was nasty, dirty as well, pee, and pub hairs everywhere. It was really late at night when we got in, and we had just traveled from Salt Lake, and we're just needing a place to stay for the night to stay warm. all of the other hotels and motels in the area were fully booked and we didn't want to have to sleep in our car or we would have demanded a refund and left.

We found our room quite clean and pleasant, no strange smells or other uncertain issues. No fancy eateries nearby but plenty of fast food and local flavor within a couple of miles. We'd stay here anytime we're in the area. The only caveat is the thin walls between the rooms. Well ours was so thin if I sat up in bed to read the neighboring guest could tap the wall and bounce my head off the headboard. That was weird.

We rolled in later in the evening, so there were only 2 vacant rooms available. The first one they assigned us smelled heavily of wet dog (yeek), but the front desk was accommodating to reassign us to the other open room. That one was perfectly fine and what the standard I assume it usually is. The 2 queen beds room is a no frills, no nonsense, minimalistic room. They kept the room design sleek and simple with just the main bedroom with a mini fridge, corner desk, small nightstand, and tv wall-mounted in front of a small closet space. There were tiny stains on the top sheet, but nothing horrifying. Clean overall. The bathroom is modern; though, as others have mentioned, the shower design isn't the best at keeping water in since there's not much of a lip to contain the water. Front desk folks are super nice. There's an ice machine, tea and hot coffee in the lobby. Every floor also seems to have a shared break room area with a communal fridge, freezer, and tables. Hallways are clean and welp-lit. Parking is ample. Good place to stay if you're in the area and just need a place to rest before moving on.
