We stayed at SpringHill Suites by Marriott for a night. We booked the hotel online through Marriott website and the check-in process was easy. The hotel was clean and had ample of parking spaces. After collecting the keys from reception we checker into our room which was neat and clean. It had 2 comfortable beds. There was ample of space in the room as well as in bathroom. They also have a morning buffet where you get variety of breakfast options. There is also a gym within the hotel with various instruments. Amazing and clean hotel.

Pros: -Free lollipops by Chupa Chups, the signature lollipops of Springhill Suites. The front desk lady went in the back to look at their stock so that I'd have every flavor of lollipop. -Free parking, wifi, and breakfast -Cheap for a 1-night stay on a Wed night in Oct ($106/night, $8.48 for tax) -Staff didn't mind me stocking up on items at breakfast for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches due to driving through Yellowstone since most stores are closed during the off-season (fuel stations open for self-service but stores themselves are closed). -First time I've stayed in a hotel room where the bathroom for the toilet is a separate room from the main sink and shower. Cons: -Doors are VERY thin. You can hear people across the hall go in and out of their rooms. You also swear housekeeping's knocking on your door even with a "do not disturb" sign. They're not knocking on your door - the door's that thin. -The hot food at breakfast isn't any better than a Hampton Inn. -There's no white bread for breakfast! I get that Marriott is trying to get me to be all healthy, but white bread is hands down better than wheat bread for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! -When I arrived at night, the guy at the front desk didn't know how to apply gift cards because he "hadn't been trained to do that." He requested I ask the morning staff to do it. He wasn't rude and was very apologetic, but this is something every front desk person needs to know how to do. I didn't realize until googling at dinner, but I stayed in an important town for Mormons with lots of history. I'm not Mormon myself, but I can appreciate other religions' histories. [I have been to the Conference Center in Salt Lake City with a one-on-one tour guide.] There is also a Book of Mormon in the hotel room. Once I discovered I was in a Mormon town, I told a girl at the restaurant, "Well it must be really safe here!" :-) She laughed and agreed. Overall I had a good stay. This hotel was an average hotel and the closest Marriott property to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park I could find. I had $100 in Marriott gift cards, so my total was $14.48 for one night. Not bad at all!

    Still working. Yay free wifi

Great rooms, very clean. Newer hotel, stopped on the way to Jackson Hole on a whim and they got us in. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Decent spread for breakfast in the AM. Check this place out.

Good environment with good customer service. The only thing made me feel disappointed is i found hairs on my bed sheet, they didn't change bed sheets! I paid expensive price expected to get clean room, not dirty bed sheets.

It's a really nice place here! I enjoyed my 2 night stay. We got a big room for 4 adults and my baby. So 2 beds and a pull out couch. I stayed on the couch, and it was pretty comfortable. My family said the beds were really comfy as well. They made our beds and cleaned the during the day while we were gone without requesting, as was expected. Really nice rooms. The breakfast was good with enough selection. I expected some fruit... no fruit. That was a bummer. But that was my only qualm... for those of us who don't want carbs we only had the eggs and meat option... not even a healthier option for natural sugars. And it seems that everyone is watching carbs now a days. Over all great!

    Split bath area.

The staff at this location were amazing. The person who prepared breakfast, individually asked everyone how they were doing. Cassie and Emily, at the desk, were so kind. Clean rooms and convenient to the interstate. Good value!

We were told two days before the wedding that there is a noise ordinance which is a county ordinance. That is fine but the time was not disclosed until the day before the wedding. We were then told we would need to move the entire wedding party for dancing inside the building. That the outside area that had concrete and lights could be used to set up tables for food but not for dancing. The venue does not have air conditioning so when it's hot outside it's not safe to have people being physical inside when you are renting the location because you want to be outside. Then at 10:00pm when you have to move everything inside with all doors shut it gets extremely hot. We had the police called out twice, the first at 8:00 pm and the second at 8:45 pm which were well before the noise ordinance time. Nothing like having police lights pull up to your event and people wondering what's happening and nothing is. You're also going want to know that the wasps are really bad. Obviously, you are outside, so we expected mosquitos and flies, but the wasp traps were completely full. We told the staff we had issues at the rehearsal and were told they knew it was a problem, but you'll have to empty them and get new ones if you want. We had a couple of people get stung and anyone eating outside had to deal with them flying all around you and your food. This event venue is expensive and there comes with that a level of expectations and customer service you aren't going to get. It's a lot of "sorry" but deal with it attitude. Parking close to the venue is an issue and the signage to the location is not well marked for guests who have not been there. If you have a large party plan to have golf carts or UTV's to bring people from the farthest parking lot. It's too far walk when you're dressed nicely or in heels. The speaker system is fine, but most DJ's want to use their own equipment and not plug into another system due to worry about breaking what they have. Which they don't allow and have someone coming to your event on the hour to check and see that you're following all the rules. Basically, if you want to spend a lot of money for an outdoor wedding this is not the best choice.

We were in California and the wedding in Idaho, so as the parents of the bride, we needed not just someone to give some recommendations, but someone to plan every detail to perfection. Due to the services of professional wedding planner, Missy Pocock, everything was INCREDIBLE. The team assembled by wedding planner Missy included Catered Your Way for the hot platted dinner and the reception dinner buffet (owner is chef Dave Pyrah in Idaho Falls), the wedding cake (best wedding cake we have ever tasted) and reception dessert bar was executed by Lanae Workman, owner of Paisley Cakes out of Blackfoot Idaho, the photography/invitations/stretched canvases were executed by Michelle Heaps Photography, Floral was done by Floral Art, and finally, the white leather relaxation lounge and performance room was created by furniture and infrastructure from Signature Party Rentals. To be fully appreciative of all contributors, I should mention Picture Perfect (very unique and fun picture booth (expensive but worth it), Smarty had a party (special service items), and Red Tie Events (the DJ). However, let me finish where I started. Every element was managed by Missy Pocock. She exceeded our expectations 1000 times over. Thank you so much Missy Stewart Pocock! See attached pictures...

The owner wasn't there for the wedding but she was pleasant to work with throughout the weeks leading up to the wedding. However, the lady that was there that helped us, I think her name was Jennifer, was absolutely terrible. She tried to control the wedding by telling us who and who could not walk down the aisle. She was constantly trying to dictate how the wedding was performed. We finally had to tell her that we didn't need her input. Later in the evening, my Mom walked into the kitchen and Jennifer was legitimately stealing food. There was a lot of Salsa and she was taking the salsa from a container and putting it in a personal jar. Her response was "You walked in at the wrong time." We also had to clean everything from taking out trash to wiping counters and mopping the kitchen. I think a lot of it was the responsibility of the employees but I'm not sure on that. Jennifer was extremely dishonest and made the wedding ceremony a little bit of a nightmare. Three stars were given just because of The Loft being a nice place and well decorated. Also, the kitchen is really dirty and greasy.

I know a lot of people like their hotels to be different, but there is some sort of satisfaction about knowing what you are going to get when you walk into a hotel. I feel like I have this knowledge now with AmericInn. I ended up sleeping in so I missed the free breakfast so I can't really comment on that. The only real negative I have is that the elevator was sort of jenky and made some weird sounds. I enjoyed my stay here and I think I will have to start booking more stays at AmericInn.
