We came here on a spur of the moment trip. We went to Bear World and the Rome Exhibit and the LDS Temple had an open house so we were able to do a bunch of things in a short amount of time. Dennis and Sandy were exceptional hosts, their cabin was very clean, well kept, decorated beautifully and had amazing views of the Snake river! Some extra perks of this b&b is a treadmill, a home theater in the basement with a wii, a hot tub, ability to fish 100 feet from your room, naps in the living room, and massive flat grounds to throw the football, kick the soccer ball and relax or park if you have a trailer. I highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway, a fishing trip, a base camp for the outdoors of Yellowstone or what ever. Great people and good times!

The Blue Heron Inn Bed and Breakfast was probably one of the coolest places I have ever stayed. It was a MUCH needed night of relaxation. Aaron and I soaked in the hot tub and then slept in a comfortable bed and woke up to an amazing home cooked breakfast. They started with fruit and dip and then served us stuffed French Toast, Hash Browns, and sausage with juice. It was so yummy. Shay also loved being able to run around. I would HIGHLY reccomend this inn to anyone traveling through Rigby, Idaho it was phenomenal and the owners are so sweet. We will 100% be back!

Wonderful refuge in Rigby, Idaho. First time stay - will be back with family and friends again! Comfortable, lovely room, relaxing living spaces, beautiful nature / river views from all sides, a hot tub for unwinding, delicious breakfast and snacks, and warm, welcoming hosts. Next time I will bring my flyrod for the South Fork of the Snake!

Average B&B. The atmosphere is great. The service and food was very good. The setting by the snake river is very nice. Just a couple things could have made it better... crappy chairs on the room patios, ours had no shower (we knew that going in) but of course it was hot and humid so after playing 18 holes a nice cold shower would have been awesome, and the bed is very old. One it was uncomfortable and two, umm, adult activities are noisy...

From July 12 to 15, 2013, I enjoyed the comforts of the Blue Heron Inn's Canyon Suite. Dennis and Sandy Koffel are the most gracious innkeepers. Their breakfast feast welcomes all of the Blue Heron Inn's guests. The lodge is one of the most comfortable, heavenly, and relaxing places around. Thank you Dennis and Sandy for a restful and rejuvenating weekend.

Beautiful and clean with lots of local decor

Away from the hustle and bustle but within walking distance. Great spot along the creek. The inn has an old world, warm, grandma's home feel to it. Not bad but not my style. Old carpet and decor that needs a refresh. Service was excellent and couldn't have been nicer. They remember names and are so friendly and caring. Good breakfast to start your day with little snacks to take along with you on your adventure. Homemade cookies were yummy. Heated coffee cups were a nice touch.

The family who run it have been in the industry for 40 years and are passionate about every aspect of the Inn. The feeling when you enter the lobby and dining area is so welcoming and charming! Everyone was so friendly with outstanding service. We stayed in the Harlequin room which the owner told us that Cosmopolitan magazine declared in 2005 that the view from the balcony was the most romantic in the nation. I'd have to agree. We sat out there every night with a glass of wine. The trees rustled slightly in the soft wind, birds chirped happily and the soothing sound of the creek makes for a very enchanting place. Add the incredible view and you don't want to leave. The room was very large, nicely decorated with every amenitie we could ever think of. The owners are remodeling the rooms, so it could be even nicer when you book. The outside of the Inn is so charming and inviting. Book in advance so you have the opportunity to enjoy this truly unique and amazing place. It's a stay I will always remember!

Very nice accommodations. Clean. Well equipped. Friendly and two great hot tubs!…read more It has the Bed & Breakfast Inn feel but with the conveniences and privacy of a modern hotel. It was really nice. We would stay there again. We stayed in the new building, which I think they call Broadway. Breakfast is not included. They charge $20/per person which I first through was high until I got used to the town. Jackson is very expensive. Other than getting a breakfast burrito to go from D.O.G. (which is awesome, by the way) you will find $20 to be on par, or cheaper, than any other breakfast you can get in town. Plus, this one is cooked to order and served in the relaxed atmosphere of the Inn. If you need breakfast included there is one other hotel in town in the same price range that offers a buffet, but having stayed at Huff House, Since breakfast may be a sticking point for some, it shouldn't be. Here's why; there are a lot of food options in town. We stayed at Huff House for 4 nights. Had breakfast there once. It was superb. No complaints, but it was also nice to try some of the other places right next door (Cafe Genevieve, Persophone, and D.O.G.). I think you will like the variety PLUS you have a fridge and microwave in your room so you may just have leftovers from last night's dinner you'll want to heat up instead. Options! I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It's great.

Had we not had his helped, we would have ended up somewhere else. We stayed in both the Cody suite and Snake River cabin. LOVED both. The beds were soooo comfortable. Whoever makes their beds, it was like heaven - tucked in nice and neat and super comfy! The rooms were spacious and the Cody suite (our fav!), had a small table/chairs and couch, made it so we could relax and regroup without having to always sit on the bed - perfect! Claire was also an absolute gem! She was always so kind and helpful, very sweet accommodating times and giving great info for the area, places to eat, etc. She made it so we wanted to return! PS - I hope your foot heals soon. Lastly, the cookies. OMG, what a wonderful touch. It was the culinary highlight of our Jackson visit, lol. Something so small that left a great lasting impression. Thanks to both John and Claire, we'd return to Huff House in a heartbeat!
