This place looks nothing like their website. Tons of permanent residents that have been allowed to junk out their sites. Lots of broken down cars, junky RVs and trash piles everywhere. The playground is broken down and trashed. Amenities aren't well cared for. Overall it's a very trashy campground. Definitely wish we would've kept driving to the next town with a nicer campground but the website was very misleading. 10/10 would not recommend.

Bugs around the sink and someone's floss that sat there all day and into the next.

This place was NOT what the online booking displayed it as. The tents "sites" are not designated and not what photo show. No table per site as all the tables are movable so you may or may not get one. It cost to do laundry. Bathrooms are dirty. No signs to keep pets off designated area for tents so it has also become a toilet for pets. Watch where you step. WiFi doesn't work. Living residence is the "year round camping". I could go on, but pictures and video are posted. DO NOT CAMP HERE IF YOU HAVE A TENT!!

The space between our spots with dog fence

We were only staying one night so that maybe determined our placement but rows E& L included alot of the what looked like "permanent" residents and for us that just feels a little run down & messy. It's also close to the railroad tracks and busy roads. If you plan on staying longer ask to be put down in the other section (was very nice) for less noise. The bathrooms were clean and well taken care of. Easy access to the freeway and grocery shopping if needed. On a sidenote, the people next to us were told that they could put out their doggie fencing because they were staying longer. The fence was less than 6 inches from our steps. Granted, they did ask us if we wanted them to move it, but they were told that it was perfectly fine by the management. There's not quite enough room to be allowing people to let their dogs have a fun little play area set up. Also, when you come in, if no one is in the office, check the corkboard for your reservation. It doesn't say that on the office door it says to call, but then the guy tells you to look at the corkboard.

The lovely view from our site.

Looks nothing like the pictures online. I don't expect a panoramic vista at every Rv park, but when I pay $75 a night to stay somewhere I shouldn't have to look at trashy permanent trailers with junk cars. Staff was less than friendly as well. Skip this place.

We began to worry as we drove to this site. Passing through an industrial area with large silos & trucking companies. Many "full timers" on site with reflective trailer skirting held in place by duct tape & blocks. Staff were all friendly. We did feel sorry for them tho, apparently there is no A/C in the office. Wanted to buy a treat after being on the road, but it was so warm in the office, I was hesitant to buy a chocolate bar. Gravel roads & sites with full hook ups & fairly level. Patio area between rigs is shared by two rigs. First time I've seen this. Grassy area for tents with mature trees throughout the park. The brochures & website make it look like they are next to (or at least close to) the river & water falls. However, this is not true. The WiFi was non-existent & the cable TV was spotty at best., We did spend four nights here, fairly comfortably. But, the park could be better.

Looks like a fish bone

I recently just stayed in one of They're cabins and I'm am beyond disappointed. The cabin was so filthy it was truly disgusting under the beds and the bed frames was filled with so much garbage. There was an odd thing in the bed frame it looked like a fish bone. There was bugs and spiders attacking us when we was sleeping There is no ac and that makes it hard to stay in ur room in the day time because it's so hot. I understand this is an old place and it's a camp ground so it won't be the most clean but I've Been in other cabins that was very clean If they start cleaning they're cabins a little more and add ac I would definitely stay there again..

The fishing is awsome in the snake river. It's not but 30 yards from our 5th wheel site. This place is great! And the managers and owners are amazing. Thank you

Awesome place to camp or park your RV. Very clean especially for it being an older facility. Very maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely would come back again. Didn't see any negative flags as other reviews noted. Only flags we saw were flying in from in front the office. There were 3 flags; USA flag flying highest with a blue lives flag followed by a Sam's club flag at the bottom.

Booked our stay in May. Received a welcome letter a few days before arrival. Arrived on the 4th of July at 2p, Whitney welcomed us and checked us in. Drove to our site and it was occupied. Called Whitney and she said no one was suppose to be there, stay put and she'd check into it. After about 45 minutes another member asked us to pull into a temporarily empty site while Whitney researched the problem so we could plug in (it was in the high 90s.) After almost 2 hours I went to the office to check the status to be told this story: the squatters occupied the spot overnight without checking in, filling out paperwork or paying and now were out so Whitney could not locate them. I asked if they could remove the small trailer or had any where else for us. Whitney was unable to assist. I asked how this could happen, how did no one know this happened since it was late in the day - didn't anyone do site checks? She stated she was by her self so the answer was "no!" So, at 6p (after being on the road since 6a) we were back on the road on a holiday with no place to go. Two Air Force Vets on Independence Day were kicked out because of several individuals rude behavior!

Standing water where the stairs would go.

Easy online registration. Lots of trees cut down on traffic noise. Bathrooms were clean but smelled funky.

I CANNOT EXPRESS ENOUGH HOW THE CAMP HOST WAS SO VERY RUDE! The grounds were fine, but the incident…read morethat occurred at Juniper Campground in Ririe, Idaho, on the evening of Saturday, September 13, 2025 left a very bitter taste in our mouths about the trip. What was intended to be a joyful family outing turned into a distressing experience due to the conduct of the camp host. My father-in-law and his wife had made a reservation at Juniper Campground for the weekend and invited my family to join them--myself, my two sons, and our grandchildren. We were all excited to spend quality time together and to try out our newly purchased travel trailers. As first-time trailer owners, this was meant to be a fun and educational experience before the camping season ended. Unfortunately, I had previously purchased concert tickets for an event at Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls scheduled for Saturday evening. My sons and I decided to briefly leave the campground to attend the concert and return afterward. We left in the early evening and returned around 10:20 PM. Upon arrival, we found the second entry gate--through which we had originally entered--locked with a padlock. We then drove to the first gate, which had rising arms and red LED lights, but it did not respond. I exited the vehicle to search for an intercom or manual override, but found none. While attempting to look up a contact number, a white truck with an orange cone in the back approached rapidly. The driver, who identified himself as the camp host, immediately confronted me in an aggressive and profane manner. He shouted, "What the hell are you doing at my gate?" I calmly explained that we were campers returning from a concert and were trying to re-enter the campground. He responded with hostility, saying, "The gates are locked at 10 PM. Didn't you read the rules?" I replied that we had not received any rules, as my 78-year-old father-in-law had checked in first and inadvertently failed to pass them along while we were focused on setting up our trailers. The host continued to berate me, accusing me of lying and using profanity such as "Bullsh*t, everybody receives the rules." When asked for our campsite number, I was momentarily unsure, as my father-in-law had directed us to our spot upon arrival. While I searched for the information, the host continued to question our motives, saying, "Why are you leaving and returning to the campsite this time of night?" I explained our concert plans, only to be met with further disbelief and ridicule. He mocked my Van Halen t-shirt and claimed, "Nobody goes camping to leave for a concert," and "Those bands sucked. The last time I saw Van Halen was in 1979." At this point, I attempted to clarify our situation, but the host warned me that if I raised my voice, he would not allow us back into the campground. After locating a screenshot of our reservation details, I showed it to him. He finally allowed us entry and handed me a printed copy of the rules, stating, "Next time, read the rules." This interaction left me feeling humiliated, belittled, and treated as though I were a criminal. The camp host's behavior was not only unprofessional but bordered on harassment. I understand the importance of rules and quiet hours, but they should be enforced with courtesy and respect--not hostility and profanity. I am deeply disappointed by this experience and will not be returning to Juniper Campground. I'm leaving this review to ensure others are aware of the treatment we received. Guests deserve to feel safe and welcomed--not intimidated or verbally abused.
