I was very glad I chose to pay a little extra to stay at this Inn rather than the motel down the road. The bed was SO comfortable. One of the best I've slept on in any hotel, and I liked the way the room was set up. Bathroom was nice, maybe a little small but nice hot showers. The whole place was well kept and the staff were all hardworking and eager to assist. Breakfast was comparable with most hotels I've stayed in. I really found it a nice place to rest and catch up on some work. Coin-op washing machines were a bit expensive though. Another reviewer mentioned bad Wi-Fi. As a former resident of Rexburg, I can explain that the entire city has times when the Internet drags on account of the large amount of students who use Internet service for classes and gaming. I looked at my records and the hotel we stayed with in Blackfoot was indeed the Super 8. My apologies for the mix up but none of this changes the experience or concerns we had we had at the Rexburg Quality Inn. Disregard any comments about the Blackfoot Hotel but I stand by my feelings about this spot. I stay here for work. They use the excuse of Covid not to clean the rooms, however they tell you they will if you ask the front desk the night before. This doesn't happen. They apologize and make excuses. The amenities are broken. The breakfast is minimal and cold. And they will lie to your face about room availability (ground floor), "we've had a lot of walk-ins today", yet there's only two cars at the hotel. Go anywhere else, it's not cheap, and it's nothing special! read more

First time staying at a quality inn but i stayed here because they allow dogs. The room was decent but the bathroom was very small! It wasn't my greatest experience. You can literally hear everything through the walls. You can hear people walking above you, turn on their showers, their alarm clock going off and it was hard to be able to sleep in. Overall the grounds were kept nice and it looks like they just redid the exterior of the building. It was convenient that there is a Maverick next door. The 3 stars was for allowing pets and I also noticed a disgusting looking stain on the comforter which through me off and grossed me out and so for that I deducted some points! I'd likely stay here again though but next time I'll be checking the bedding!! I also forgot to include that the WiFi was not the best. I couldn't connect to my VPN network on it. read more

Nice, clean hotel, with professional and attentive staff, basic breakfast, cool amenities (microwave, fridge), and indoor pool and hot tub (though it was crawling with kids, and, therefore, assumably, pee). The room we were assigned to was wide open when we got to it and no sheets on the bed. Went back to the deck and they "upgraded" us to a different room. If this is an upgrade I would hate to see the first room. Walks and ramps leading into the hotel are cracked and crumbling. Bed in room had depressions where people sleep. Curtains were dirty and not hung. I went and got extra towels to put on the couch because it was so filthy. Walls had holes in plaster. Furniture had chunks out of the wood. Room is a good size. Couldn't call the front desk with a question as there are no phones in the room. The outside windows had masses of dirt and cobwebs. Breakfast was awful. Link sausage was not even warm let alone cooked. Boiled eggs were like rubber. No milk for cereal. Coffee was weak. They do allow dogs (that's why we're choose the hotel). With daily rate + tax and dog fee it was $200 a night for a sleazy hotel. We won't be back. read more

WiFi was horrible. Extremely slow and basically useless. Breakfast was pretty decent. Not restaurant quality, but completely satisfactory. Bathrooms are quite small and can be difficult to maneuver. Pool was great. We spent a lot of time there when not find other activities. Queen beds are quite small. Technically Queens, but barely. read more

Wow, pricey! Breakfast was pretty good, with cheese omelets and bacon! Also fresh fruit (bananas, apples, oranges), and waffles. When we checked in, they didn't ask for ID or anything........ Just a comment, not good or bad. The bathrooms were very small. The toilets were so short, practically made for a toddler. The toilet is SOOOO CLOSE to the bathtub that if you weigh..... oh... say.... 200 pounds or more, you will not fit on the toilet. Not to mention how short it was..... Water wasn't that hot, I had to turn it on all the way to get my bath as warm as I needed...... There was an air show while we were there, we didn't know this ahead of time. Good thing we had reservations. My friend and I had pets with us. I didn't have my computer with me, I used their business center. WiFi there worked ok.... Except the last person to use Facebook before I got on there forgot to close the browser and I managed to get right in to someone else's account. Just saying.... if you use a public computer, CLOSE the browser and clear the cookies! read more

I stayed at this hotel a while back and it was a great experience. To start, the breakfast service was a great way to start our day. The host was very kind and was hands on. The food was great quality, my favorite was the waffles and syrup, just delicious. My wife loved the biscuits and gravy. The room was very clean and hand no stains or smells anywhere. You could tell they take their time cleaning their hotel. The front desk was very helpful and kind in making us feel welcome and know where to go to find our room. It was quiet and very homey for us. We would recommend 100% and it wasn't crazy expensive for what we got, felt like it was very responsibly priced. Here, at Quality Inn, I truly felt like the staff cared about our visit. read more

WARNING: ***NOT*** Pet Friendly!! They are DECEITFUL. We PREPAID several weeks ago for two nights at this "pet friendly" hotel on move-in weekend at BYUI and arrived exhausted at 9pm after two 12-hr driving days. Upon check-in, my husband was handed a page on which to initial, among other things, their pet policy, which he bothered to actually read, and it instructed him to register pets at the desk. So he told the desk clerk that he needed to register a pet, our daughter's cat. The clerk replied that they only accept dogs. After about a 20-minute ordeal, that involved us practically begging, as we'd already called other ACTUALLY pet-friendly places (a very short list) and finding everything booked, the manager had been called and also said not to allow us to stay with the cat. Again, we PREPAID for a PET FRIENDLY room and were turned away because they "only take dogs." They said we could leave the cat in the car in the parking lot all night [insert eye roll]. My husband even asked what would've happened if we had ignored their spoken edict and simply gotten our room keys and taken the cat in by a different entrance, and then someone had seen the cat and reported it, and the desk clerk said that NOTHING would've happened - no additional charges to our card, literally NOTHING - but they said they "hope people will be honest." Well let me tell you, the management at this hotel is DISHONEST, and my husband WAS honest and it bit our exhausted tails right in the bum!! The clerk said he admitted their pet policy is "unclear," but it is not unclear, it is DECEITFUL. They turned away paying customers - PREPAID in fact - because they did not have the decency and compassion to allow us to stay in the room we had already paid for when they knew NOTHING else was available. Hey Quality Inn - this is our oldest child we're bringing for her final two semesters, and so we'll be back in December for her graduation and at least a couple of our remaining four kids will likely attend BYUI too. We have friends whose kids go here, and more friends whose kids will go here in the future; we will be sure to tell them ALL to STAY AWAY from Rexburg Quality Inn. PS - We ended up finding a room at the Motel 6 in Rexburg for one night - the night w the cat. It's sparkling clean and the desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend them - we actually stayed at Motel 6 WITH THE CAT in Dec - for all stays, clean rooms and comfy beds - but especially if you need a place that is *actually* pet-friendly as advertised! read more

We arrived late at night and my only concern is that it was so dark and hidden with no lights. Besides that, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and I enjoyed it more than the quality inn at keystone sd. The pool was nice and breakfast as well. I wish that the restroom was larger. Overall, I enjoyed this quality inn and would stay here again if I was ever in Rexburg. read more

Room is run down, tv is maybe a 32, bathroom is beat up and has seen much better days. And to boot, it cost me $144 for a single bloody night because I was too lazy to drive a half hour away for a nicer cheaper room. For this price I would have at least expected a microwave and a fridge and a much larger area with cleaner facilities. And finally the WiFi access point did not work. I will never be back to this hotel, they charged twice the going rate for such crap facilities. read more

This was by far the most frustrating experience I have had with a hotel and staff in a long time and I didn't even end up staying here. I booked a hotel room for a conference that I was attending in the area and then ended up needing to cancel the hotel room. When I tried to cancel, Kathy informed me that I had booked this room at a special rate (news to me) and that there is no way she can cancel my room or refund my money since this was booked through a third party site (Hotels.com). Kathy became more and more rude over the phone when I questioned this policy since they are the primary business in this transaction. I cannot seem to get any confirmation/refund from either Quality Inn or Hotels.com about who actually charged my card (bank statement says Quality Inn) and both parties are refusing to refund for a room I never stayed in. I will never stay in a Quality Inn again due to this one employee's rude behavior and terrible customer service! read more

Worst "almost stay" ever. At check in everything went ok. About 1 hour later the power went out. I understand it's not the hotel's fault, but their back up generator was out! The "emergency" back up lighting isn't hooked up to anything. There was no default lighting in any area in the hotel (not even the Exit sign), and the one stairway down was pitch black. Staff wasn't concerned and replied "they didn't need emergency lighting, because there's no emergency". Front desk clerk said all he could do is try to keep us happy by telling jokes, so people didn't check out. My safety is NO joke! The city/fire department should check this out. It could be a potential disaster. Not only would I consider the lack of any active smoke alarms or backup lighting a safety risk, for those of us who need a CPAP at night, it could be an emergency. Canceled our reservation, drove down to Idaho Falls and got a lovely suite at the Marriott Residence Inn for only $10 a night more. Will NEVER stay at another Choice or Quality Inn again! read more
