The cabin itself is pretty new, so everything was clean and in working order. The location is very close to the west entrance to the park, and is convenient to downtown shops and restaurants. The kitchen had plenty of plates, silverware, pots and pans, etc. I was especially impressed with the quality of the pots and pans, very nice for a rental. The cabin also has a full sized washer and dryer, which was very convenient. The WIFI was available, but I have to say it is not very fast. Considering the location, this was not too surprising. There were no problems with billing, or unexpected charges. Overall a great choice for a large party, I highly recommend this location!

We'd been booked at an older property inside the park with no air conditioning, cancelled it, and found the 1872. Best decision we made. The AC worked exactly as it should, and after long days in the park it made a real difference. It's an adults-only boutique property at the edge of town -- close enough to walk downtown, far enough to escape the crowds and noise. Quiet is the word that keeps coming to mind, and that's rare in a gateway town in August. Check-in was easy, and the gentleman at the front desk walked us to the room himself and showed us how everything worked -- the gas fireplace, the towel warmer for the bath towels. Small touches, but you notice when someone takes the time. The room was spotless and a good size. We had four pieces of luggage open at once and never felt crowded. Beds were very comfortable. Anything we asked for, we got. We loved it and would stay here again without hesitation. The switching story is the strongest thing in the review now. Anyone weighing in-park lodging against staying in West Yellowstone is going to read that paragraph and make a decision.

We figured it out eventually but the first night was a little uncomfortable - bath amenities were a little spartan. A fresh bar of soap for the shower wasn't provided for our stay. It would be nice to have a separate conditioner because the shampoo/conditioner option wasn't all that great The cost of our three-night stay, with breakfast included, was about $1000. They truly made us feel welcome and cared for as if we were a guest in their home! They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our excursions inside the park, even though that's not even required of them! They offered us binoculars and lent us a beach chair for my elderly mom to use in the park. Breakfast has tons of variety with different main course menus daily - pancakes, cereal, eggs, fresh oatmeal, yogurt parfait, fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, toasts....you name it....!! 24 hrs tea, coffee, hot cocoa, laundry rooms on 2 floors, 24 hrs free ice and drinking water refills, rooms have microwave, fridge w freezer, very spacious and clean, beds very comfy, room furniture is rustic wood with wildlife themed decor. Lobby has vending machines for drinks and snacks, internet workstation with printer, tea, coffee, hot cocoa etc. Stayed in many other hotels both large chains and small family owned, but found Kelly Inn staff to be the most friendly, warm and welcoming, especially Vereniz and Derek! They also helped locate and retrieve our shoe that mistakenly went with housekeeping to their laundry area. Whatever we requested for our room was sent to us very quickly. Housekeeping ensured our room was cleaned and fully stocked daily! It is these small, kind gestures that make hotel staff stand out because guests leave happy and their vacations become memorably sweet!

We had a view of the parking lot. The walls were paper thin we could hear people walking above us and conversations next-door until 10:00. Our room was dark and it was tight with all of our belongings for 3 weeks. We didn't have much counter space in the bathroom and the water pressure was weak. Hot coffee was available in the lobby. There is a pool, hot tub, and a laundry room with two washers and two dryers. We had issues with the Wi-Fi. A buffet breakfast was included from 630 until 930. The usual toast, muffins, fruit, scrambled eggs, potatoes , sausages, biscuits, yogurt, juices.... There was not enough seating for all the guest, and it was extremely hot in the dining room. When we were done with breakfast, we went up to our room to brush our teeth and we were already checked out. It required two trips down to get back into our room.

Worst Air BNB booking ever!!! While running the shower we found the tub doesn't even drain. We had to leave the room and move to a local hotel in the middle of the night. While on the phone with Air BNB we pulled the sheets back and found someone else's hair all in the sheets and terrible pilling on the sheets. So disgusting and appalling none the less during a global pandemic. Google address is wrong for the physical location also. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE.
