This has been the worst experience ever! I came in ready to buy a car and they were 2 hrs from closing and they wouldn't show me the car in the lot bc they were covering it for the day. The nasty salesperson told me to put a deposit before I can view it because that's what people do. I don't know anyone who buys a car without seeing it in person. I didn't wanna test drive it or anything, just wanted to see it. I guess I will take my business elsewhere. Thank you nasty tesla guy..I'm sure someone will gladly take a sale! read more

Talk about horrible customer service! The sales rep that works on Sunday afternoon (around noon) is completely arrogant. We asked about the new Tesla Model 3 and she called it, "the economical, massed produced Model 3." Totally degrading the car. I'm sure Elon Musk doesn't refer to his next best selling car as "massed produced." What a to turn off. read more

ordered 12/8/19 , SR+, RWD, standard options took delivery on 12/23/19 my SA ，Adrian, made it happen. Otherwise I really don't think I can take delivery before the end of year and claim the tax credit. Supposedly I can get the car in 2 to 3 weeks per Tesla , but there was no vin assigned to me as of 12/22. Adrian contacted me and letting me know that there is a customer supposed to take delivery and was not responding to the delivery request, and it was my lucky day as the car is spec.ed exactly like my order. The next morning the Burbank delivery center called to schedule for a same day delivery appointment. everything happened so fast to a point where I drove my M3 home , my order status was still at "drafting up your contract" It was definitely a nice Christmas surprise that I wasn't expecting read more

Went in today to see if we could test drive a car. Yeah, we could! Drove a 90D model. The entire staff was so helpful. Michele took us on our test drive. She was a wealth of knowledge. No pressure at all...now we need to figure out what to do. read more

Walked in on a Friday and folks there were super helpful. Set up a test drive for the model I wanted on Sunday. Planned my family's day around it, called an hour ahead and confirmed the time and model (standard) I wanted to test. I get there and they say standards aren't available to test drive (maybe for months). They have the AWD to test but it's significantly different according them. I don't want to test a car I'm not getting and I don't want to be upsold to AWD. Pretty frustrated with how it went down. read more

Absolutely the best experience buying a car. So easy and fast, literally a piece of cake. Called into the store at about 4pm on a Friday to see if my husband and I can schedule a test drive. Spoke to Ernesto who answered a lot of our questions over the phone and told us that The latest test drive is usually around 6 PM since they close at eight but as long as were there by seven he could still take us out .. we got there at about 6:50 and Ernesto took my husband and I on a test drive allowing us to both drIve the car. He first explained to us so many features on the car and during the drive answered all our questions about financing as well as technical questions. Back in the show room Ernesto put us in line to receive a car and got us through our whole entire credit application. By that time the store was closed and all his coworkers had left but he stayed for about an hour after the store closed finishing up the application with us and walking us through every single step very thoroughly. My husband and I both had a ton of questions and Ernesto was very patient and very professional. He wasn't just trying to sell us a car, he wanted to make sure we were happy. Since we applied for the credit application after hours the status was pending until the next day... The next day we called him and he checked up on our application and finished the very last steps of it all through the phone call. He was beyond helpful, beyond professional, and beyond patient. If you need to buy a Tesla, seriously go see Ernesto in the Pasadena show room. Can't wait to receive our car in late March!!! read more

I drove a Tesla, liked it and bought one, giving my deposit of $2500 to secure it. I was told it wouldn't be ready until November, and this was about 3 weeks ago. I was emailed that my car was ready and I could pick it up in Marina del Mar over last weekend, but they wanted a time. I responded, but did not hear anything in return, so I email him again, hearing nothing again. The following Monday, I received an apology about not responding before, asking when I would like to pick up my car. In the meantime, I received another email from another Tesla rep saying that I needed to bring $15,000 Cashier Check to Tesla and another Cashier Check for $18,000.51 for US Bank: nothing that I had agree upon. When I told my husband, he said that it sounded more like a scam than an actual car purchase from a dealer. Tesla dealer, Pasadena, CA read more

Owning a Tesla would be pretty great, but let's face it, it's a $100k+ car and I don't have that kind of cash. Not currently anyway. Most car companies that sell cars at the $100k price point aren't too interested in just chatting with the public. Tesla's approach seems very different, much like the cars they make. Of course their main goal is to sell their product, but they also want and seem to encourage a relationship with curious-but-not-currently-financially-able-to-afford-this minds. When you walk in no one is trying to pressure you into a purchase. Instead they are welcoming and happy to answer any questions you might have about the cars and their amazing features. The staff is very relaxed and well informed. It's less of a "car dealership" and more of a "we make this cool product" vibe. Heck, if they have an opening they'll even let you test drive a Model S. Tesla seems like their position is to change people's idea of what an electric car is and they want you to be a part of that dialogue. I went in already knowing a certain level of information about the car and the company. I walked out with an even better opinion than I came in with. Stop by even if you're just curious, it's worth seeing it all first hand. read more

Tesla - Awesome showroom. - Car Dealers Near Me - Pasadena, California

I wanted to visit a Tesla dealership for the longest time, but due to the busy schedule, I was unable to until recently. I took my son with me since he is a Tesla fanatic (Especially the X model). When we first got in, all the Tesla employees greeted us with a Hello, how are you, which is a pleasant surprise. A gentleman name Joshua proceed to ask us if we needed any help, which I replied that I was checking on a Tesla model Y. He then ask me if I have any trade in which I said yes if the price is right. He then took the information of my car and proceed to run the trade in value. After he ran the value, he ask me if I wanted to test drive the car, which I said yes. My son was also excited to see the new model. Joshua then took me to the back and showed me the car that we will be test driving, he was so professional and friendly all this time. He showed me the basic functions of it and even direct the way out of the parking lot(who does that nowadays). After the 15 minutes test drive, we went back to the dealership and told Joshua that we have to bring the wife to test drive it also. Joshua politely told us please do and that if we need anything, don't hesitate to call him or email him. I will definitely be back with my wife and looking forward to purchase a Tesla with Joshua in a near future. What a fantastic salesperson you have at Tesla. read more

Bad customer service. Not sure what her name was - but the white lady rep was rude. Would never buy a Tesla in the first place, and this further solidified my thoughts. Tesla is the Apple of the car industry. read more

Do NOT test drive or order through this location. Once you test drive through them your order belongs to them. I worked with an owner advisor and he wasn't terrible however he went on vacation and gave me instructions to call the showroom if I needed help. That's where the problem lies. They don't know what they are doing I called and asked them to check their inventory of cars that were used as demo/showroom vehicles. They don't want to look for those. They will tell you there is nothing available and then when you call a different location (Glendale) you will find out their is inventory even if it doesn't meet your exact needs. I called back because Glendale can't help me because I worked with Pasadena previously. I went in to the location to request that my account be transferred to Glendale since I know they are willing to do the leg work for me also they have better hours. I was told by the I assume newer employee that I just need to go there which isn't true and and she asked an employee who was walking by for help I explained my frustration with the lack of communication and that I was told about one particular car which the Pasadena location never said was available to explain that they were basically lying to me. He refused to believe me and said cars with miles are only adjusted by hundreds of dollars I said there is a gray one that has been adjusted by $5000 locally and he finally looks it up and says I can switch your order to that vehicle to which I again explained I don't want that car but I want to know what my options are and then he said it is a 2018 vehicle and I said that doesn't matter. He said I'll move your order to that car and I said you aren't listening to my concern. Then he said "well I gotta go you deal with this I'm already clocked out" to the girl he agreed to help. She had to call a manager who wasn't even in the store and he said to her they will give the account to Glendale in the morning. Tesla needs to treat every single customer the same especially since it is a new company. I'm trying to buy a less desirable car and they don't want me to buy it. This location really needs training I should not have to call everyday to have someone update me. I'm trying to take advantage of the incentives and this is not the way to do business. They are ruining the experience for me. I should feel like they are going above and beyond to make sure I'm happy with my almost 60k purchase. Update now that they have raised the price of full self driving even if the car I've been trying to purchase becomes available I will have to pay $1000+ tax more even though I already made a deposit on a vehicle. It just keeps getting better! read more

My experience was very positive with this particular Tesla location. I made an appointment online and Tesla quickly contacted me. The whole process was smooth. The test drive is experience was pleasant. I was treated with respect and as far as test drive goes it was terrific. read more

Unbelievably smooth process. Great process. The only problem is we have to drive to Marina Del Rey to pick up the car. They need more delivery centers. read more

Location or possibly Tesla overall needs customer management and service improvements. Our test drive was scheduled and went very well. Owner Advisor aka sales rep was very knowledgeable. The experience fell apart shortly after. They may be short staffed to the point that you need to work around their schedule, not the other way around. Tesla specific car print outs are lacking and I can see how someone who does not research may miss out on key features they thought was included on available inventory. Sent 2 e-mails for follow ups and left my info the other day with no call back. I enjoy there are no pressure buying tactics but this is quite the opposite. read more

Overall a great car buying experience. Since the folks that work there don't make a commission and as far as I know there is no finagling with the prices, there is no pressure to make a purchase and no cheesy sales tactics like we've grown accustomed too. Test drive was awesome and the guy I worked with knew the car pretty thoroughly. I ended up buying a used P85 to fit my budget though and did not purchase it from the dealer. My last car was a beat up '96 Honda Civic with no hub caps, so you can imagine the reaction I got from all my neighbors coming home with this. No one thought it was mine. I just snub my nose at the 99% now a days. ; ) Actually I'm still part of the 99% but after driving my wife's electric Ford Focus occasionally over the last couple of years there was no way I was going back to a gas powered car. There is just nothing like electric! So I decided to buy a car outside of my budget by like double! Happy as a clam! Also I got the rear jumper seats which people absolutely freak out over and my 4-year old loves. He calls it his space ship or Gup. read more

I went into this store with the goal of learning more about the model s and considering it for future purchase. When I arrived, there were 3 sales staff and only 1 of them was busy with a customer. I was in the store for approximately ten minutes waiting to be helped, taught about the car, shown one of the vehicles and there was absolutely no service provided. If your interested in buying a tesla, you may want to visit another store. read more

I arranged a test drive of a Model S and the associate, Michelle, was very informative, professional and responsive to my follow-up questions via email. I was impressed by the company and product. Test driving it sealed the deal for me and I am now a Tesla car owner. If you're in the market, you owe it to yourself to put this car on your short list. read more
