I had a great experience buying my Volkswagen Atlas from Volkswagen Pasadena, and a huge part of that was thanks to Ramiro, my sales consultant. Ramiro was excellent from start to finish. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and--most importantly--never made me feel pressured or rushed. He answered all of my questions, was straightforward about the vehicle and the process, and made the entire buying experience incredibly smooth and easy. Buying a car can be stressful, but Ramiro made it feel like I was working with someone who genuinely wanted me to be happy with my purchase rather than just trying to make a sale. I really appreciated his communication and willingness to help throughout the process. I'm extremely happy with my Atlas and with the experience I had at Volkswagen Pasadena. If you're looking for a VW and want someone who will treat you right, I highly recommend asking for Ramiro. He's a great sales consultant and made my experience a 10/10! read more

I will never bring my vehicle back to this dealership. It is completely apparent that they employ inexperienced technicians who do not know how to properly diagnose vehicles. My nightmare started when I brought my car in to get diagnosed. They couldn't figure out the exact issue, but they still recommended a repair and wanted to charge me over $800. The breakdown was ridiculous--the part itself was $250, meaning they wanted to charge me over $600 just in labor. When I started asking completely reasonable questions about the diagnosis, the staff got frustrated with me and ultimately told me to just take my car at no charge. Frankly, they shouldn't have been trying to charge me in the first place if they didn't have a 100% definitive answer to the problem. I decided to purchase the part myself and had an independent mechanic install it in just 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the problem persisted, meaning their original recommendation was completely wrong. Against my better judgment, I decided to give this dealer a second chance. I brought the car back, told them I replaced the recommended part, and explained that the issue was still happening. They kept my car for 4 days with absolutely no answers. Out of pure desperation to get my car fixed, I finally told them to just replace three specific parts and agreed to pay their $1,000+ estimate. When I went to pick up my car, I found out they didn't even replace all the parts. They insisted they couldn't duplicate the cold-start issue I was reporting, claiming it started fine for them every time. To make matters worse, when they brought my car out to me, they already had it running. I assumed they did this because the problem was fixed by the two parts they actually managed to replace. As for the third part? They claimed it arrived damaged, so they had to reorder it and promised to call me when it arrived. I followed up a few days later, and they told me it wasn't in yet but that they would get back to me. It has now been over a week with zero response. I honestly don't think they ever even looked at my car. Save your time, money, and sanity, and take your vehicle somewhere else. read more

Wow! What an overwhelmingly pleasant experience compared to other Volkswagen dealerships. I've been getting my car serviced at an a different overpriced and under delivering dealership just because it was close to my house. After an outrageous quote to change a battery, I called around, I couldn't get one other dealership on the phone. I called Volkswagen Pasadena and they answered the phone right away and I'm glad they did. The woman on the phone was knowledgeable and super accommodating, I ran there to get my battery changed. When I got there I was really impressed with the cleanliness and overall vibe of the dealership, everyone I encountered was super friendly. My service advisor was Ron, he was the absolute best, kind smart and incredibly insightful. I liked his vibe immediately and I knew I could trust him right away and he even told me about an extended warranty coverage my car was eligible for. Something I would have never experienced at any other dealership. He was able to get my car in and serviced last minute on a Saturday with the ease and calm confidence of Ron Swanson from Parks and Rec casually building a whole canoe from scratch in 10 minutes. I've genuinely never felt so assured that my car was in good hands in any dealership with any car in all my time taking cars to dealership services centers. 10 out of 10 stars, I'm never taking my car anywhere else for service and you should too, Thank you to Ron and everyone else involved at Volkswagen Pasadena for making my experience so memorable positive and pleasant. I'll be recommending you from here on out and you've got earned a customer for life. Thanks again! read more

This story has sad and good news. The short of it -- I parted with my '16 VW Tiguan this past weekend. In the years that I had it, it was reliable, comfortable and got us through the worst -- the Eaton fires. After that event, it wasn't the same in performance. But, going back to VW in Pasadena, and really mulling it through, we came to the decision to transition. Glad we did :) So the good of this story: 1. service team -- Wendy gets an A+ at customer care 2. sales team, worked with Gino and Mark, was understanding and supportive. All that said, looking forward to this new chapter with an outlook to new and positive experiences all down the road in our new of Victorious Worthy vehicle-- Vroom!!! Thanks to VW of Pasadena! read more

Arsalan Baig was so attentive. The entire team was great. Definitely recommend buying a vehicle from this dealer.

I just recently got a new car from the Volkswagen Dealership in Pasadena. The staff went above and beyond for me. The highest level of customer service I have EVER received. Cade was excellent he showed me the features of the car. Mike got me the numbers and made the deal happen. Thanks to Carson, the Internet Manager for setting up the meeting This dealership is not pushy, they had my best interest at hand and I feel they truly cared about me as a person. I will always go to Volkswagon Pasadena for my cars. read more

Without a doubt, Yosom is the reason I purchased my vehicle from Volkswagen Pasadena. I've purchased several vehicles in my life, and by far this was the best buying experience ever. His knowledge and straightforwardness made this deal exceptionally easy. We were able to finalize all the details via email and text, and I spent only two hours in the dealership to sign papers and pick up my vehicle. If you're in the market for a Volkswagen, I highly suggest and recommend that you seriously look into Volkswagen Pasadena. Please ask for the absolute best sales person in the dealership, Yosom! read more

A great experience all the way from when we walked in the door until we left with our car! Arsalan is a true professional! There was zero pressure here, unlike another VW dealer we had visited earlier in the day. read more

This is for the service center. The sales side of the dealer were wonderful when we purchased our vehicle March of 2025. Since then servicing the vehicle has been thorny. For a car that was sold at $70,000 we should have researched VW's service rating. JD Powers rated them at the bottom. There is no service shuttle or loaner cars unless your vehicle is disabled. Since we at least 32 miles away from the dealer, it costs us a lot to take the car and get back to our house since even a maintenance service is overnight. They haven't kept the time they said they will need to maintain the car. When we complained to the assistant manager, he basically told us he will accommodate the third party vendor fixing the car before he would accommodate the customer. Which meant both me and my husband lost an entire day waiting for a fix for a chipped windshield under warranty. read more

My husband and I had the best car buying experience at Volkswagen Pasadena, and it was all thanks to our fantastic salesman, Billy Ott! We came in to test drive the 2025 VW Jetta and were expecting the typical high pressure atmosphere you often find at dealerships, but Billy completely blew those expectations out of the water. From the moment we met him, he was exceptionally great at his job. He was knowledgeable about the features of the Jetta and explained everything clearly and patiently. He genuinely seemed focused on making sure that we were comfortable and that the Jetta was the right fit for our needs. Because of Billy's professionalism, transparency, and exceptional service, we felt completely confident and ended up purchasing the Jetta on the same day! If you are looking to buy a new VW, we highly recommend asking for Billy! Five stars all around! read more

Why do they not give you ride back? They send Uber to send you back home but not the other way? What?????

Every Aspect of This business is influenced Positively by the Management of Karl... Already sounds like a relative or someone affiliated with the dealership... This is NOT the Case....Look at all my reviews for validity I am Picky.... I have worked with Karl for a few years, and he is HONEST and FAIR...Please bear in mind we are speaking of a Car Dealership! I leased a ID4 after talking to Karl. Bear in mind he told me Bob wait a year as there are some hiccups with the Id 4.. I thought who the hell says that...?!...So I got a Subaru Forrester and told my wife when it is time to make a change I am going straight to Karl. I did and have been supremely happy... I will be turning in my car next year and i will go straight back to Karl...Honesty...integrity and likability... read more

Arsalan Baig was a huge help transitioning out of my Atlas lease into my used ID4 Finance! The process was easy from speaking to Mike on numbers and prices to signing off with Dominic. They walked through everything with me and ensured I covered every number with them and that I was satisfied with it. This is my 3rd car with them and it wont be my last. Looking to upgrade later once the kiddos start popping out. read more

I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but I wanted to give Service Advisor Wendy Duong a shout-out. We own three different makes of vehicles, so we've had our fair share of experiences with dealerships. Unfortunately, the service at the other two dealerships has often been disappointing. My experience at Volkswagen Pasadena has been the complete opposite. I've taken my ID. Buzz in for service twice, and Wendy has been absolutely amazing. She is responsive, professional, communicates clearly throughout the process, and truly provides outstanding customer service. It's refreshing to work with someone who genuinely cares about her customers. Thank you, Wendy, for making the service experience so easy and enjoyable. Volkswagen Pasadena is fortunate to have you on their team! read more

MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT ARE COMPLETE THIEVES!!!!! Had an engine light appear on my car and was told by my own repairman to take it to a dealership since the problem was under warranty (Evap Fault Code.....California warranty of 8 years/80,000 miles). Not only does the Pasadena location insist that the problem was not covered under warranty, but they decide to come up with these other issues which according to this dealership will cost me $5900 (i just paid off my car and now i'm being told to pay this much? I can get myself a new car with that money). The problem here is that I just took my car to my repairman for a tuneup, and was told that my car's in excellent shape. As soon as I mentioned that, i'm now being told those other repairs can wait. They would only work on the repair that would remove the light. Funny thing is that they gave me 15% off with me now only paying roughly $800 for what should have been covered (must be their way of making me happy, despite ripping me off). I've never trusted Volkswagen car dealerships. They once told me that I needed brakes immediately but when I took it to my own repairman a week later, he said I wasn't in need of new brakes anytime soon. I guarantee these dealerships are under direct orders to try to rake in as much money they can from every customer who's going in for a simple car repair. Thank goodness for my own trusted repairman. I have since contacted the Better Business Bureau who deals with customers who are forced to pay up despite their cars being covered by warranties. Will be hearing from them first thing next week. read more

5/5 stars for Kingsun! what a friendly and warm personality in the VW service department. My baby sister had her VW serviced twice, and both times were smooth sailing with Kingsun's help. I had a wonderful experience at Volkswagen Pasadena thanks to Arsalan and Mike. They went above and beyond to help me, including allowing me time to negotiate with creditors regarding a vehicle I was purchasing as a graduation gift for my daughter, who is graduating high school in 2026. Their kindness, patience, and professionalism made the process much easier, and they truly treated me like family. I am so grateful for their support and highly recommend Volkswagen Pasadena to anyone looking for exceptional customer service. read more

called earlier today and spoke with John to explain my current lease situation. I was very clear that I was not ready to buy today and that my current lease has negative equity. John encouraged me to come in anyway. Once I arrived, his attitude completely changed. He was noticeably unenthusiastic and unwilling to help. He didn't show me any of the vehicles we discussed over the phone and made no effort to walk the lot or explain options. Instead, he simply sat me at his desk and threw out rough numbers without any real discussion or guidance. Overall, the experience felt rushed and dismissive. If you're looking for someone who will actually listen to your situation and take the time to help, I'd recommend saving yourself the trip and going elsewhere read more

Service center - great. Friendly and very helpful and considerate staff. Have been taking my car there for years. Sales center - waste of time. I had the misfortune of losing my beloved car with 160k miles on it, and I was devastated. I wasn't sure what kind of car I wanted, but I knew I needed something quickly to get me back to work, and I knew I wanted an electric car or a hybrid. I made an appointment after I checked the Costco auto program, and Arsalan showed me the ID.4 He was very chill and gave me time to consider my options. I decided to buy the ID.4 because the price was so good in a sea of costly CPO cars. Mike and Dominic also helped out and made the process of actually buying the car quick and painless. They also gave me free sunglasses, and didn't say anything when I hugged my old car goodbye. Highly recommend. read more

Billy had us in and out so quickly! We saw the most perfect Jetta for our daughter listed online, called Billy who confirmed its availability, and he had it ready to test drive right when we arrived. We have had nightmare experiences at other dealers where they had us there for hours trying to upsell and play games with us, but Billy kept it friendly and to the point and we were out the door with the keys in a couple of hours! We will definitely work with him again when we need to do this for our son in a couple of years. read more

I reached out in search of a Taos within my budget. Ramiro was extremely helpful and efficient. I explained what features I wanted and how much I wanted to spend. He immediately went into action, gathering the information he needed, he maintained consistent communication and honored my preferred communication type (via text). He very quickly provided me with an option within my budget along with a link to view the vehicle and all the specifics. While I did not move quickly enough to grab that particular Taos, Ramiro followed up with me, offering an alternative that was even better than what I initially wanted. He sent all the documents I needed to secure the car and I was able to fill them out electronically prior to my arrival. Andrew Perez was able to get me all squared away with my new contract and I was able to drive off with my new Taos with all the bells and whistles I wanted and at a price point I felt comfortable with. Thanks for making this a pleasant experience. read more

We decided to lease our Volkswagen Atlas because of the outstanding service we received from Cade Guevara at Volkswagen Pasadena. From the very beginning, Cade was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. Since our English is not very strong, we were quite nervous at first. However, he explained everything clearly and took the time to make sure we fully understood each step. He treated us with genuine respect and care, which made us feel completely comfortable and confident in our decision. We have been enjoying our new Volkswagen Atlas very comfortably, and everything has been going perfectly with no issues at all. We are truly grateful for the excellent experience, and it was Cade's exceptional support that made us choose to move forward with our lease. Thank you again for everything -- we're very happy with our decision! read more

I recently purchased a vehicle for my mother through the Costco Auto Buying Program, and I have to say Volkswagen Pasadena delivered one of the smoothest experiences I've ever had. From the moment I submitted the initial request, Carson was communicative, transparent, and on top of every detail. I've used the Costco program several times at different dealerships, and while most have met expectations for a straightforward process, something about this team truly stands out. The hand-off to Arsalan in Sales was seamless. He was professional, pleasant, and carried forward the same level of attentiveness and customer care that Carson had established. This type of consistency between team members is rare, and it should be the model other dealerships follow. I'm not sure who their manager is, but if you're reading this: I spot-check quality assurance for financial institutions, and I know what to look for in an operation. During my short time at the dealership, everything I observed reflected efficiency, professionalism, and a well-run environment. And lastly, Andrew in Finance was an absolute delight to work with; something you don't often get to say about the finance portion of a car purchase. He was thorough, respectful, and never overbearing. My mother is extremely happy with her new vehicle, in the exact color and build she wanted. Great job to the entire team. Highly recommend Volkswagen Pasadena. read more

We bought a brand new Atlas from VW Pasadena. The whole team was phenomenal! Very attentive and communicative. No games or sneaky stuff that other dealerships do. Kevin went above and beyond helped get the exact vehicle we wanted and made sure our whole experience was great. Arsalan spent plenty of time during the test drive going through all the features and helped us set everything up when we purchased the car. We felt very supported during the whole test drive and purchase process including afterwards too. They have been reaching out to send videos and help with any questions we have. This was my second time purchasing a car from Volkswagen Pasadena, and just like the first time--it was fantastic! The whole team is always incredibly kind, helpful, and most importantly, low-pressure. There's no hard balling or upselling--just a super chill and respectful vibe from start to finish, which I really appreciate. I had my eye on a very specific Taos I wanted and Alex tracked it down for me. He let me take it for a spin, walked me through all the differences between the Taos and my old car, and answered every question I had without rushing or pushing. I was working with a very tight budget, and the only way this was going to happen was if the numbers truly made sense. Alex understood that and genuinely advocated for me, going back multiple times to get me the best possible deal. And he did! The entire process was quick, smooth, and stress-free. Can't recommend Volkswagen Pasadena (and Alex!) enough. I absolutely love my new Taos, thank you again! read more

I have an older Jetta Hybrid that started exhibiting transmission problems in November, culminating in a stalling on Hill Street in the middle of the Dodgers parade the Monday after the World Series. I dreaded taking it in so close to the holidays - right before Thanksgiving. Tom gave me the good, the bad, and the ugly with empathy and professionalism. He arranged for a loaner car - a 2025 Jetta that I would seriously consider if I could swing another car payment. Today, I picked up what seems like a brand new car. Tom even gave me tips for where I could get my tinted windows replaced (VIP on Altadena). Very satisfied that I have stuck with VW over the years, through Dieselgate and beyond. The folks at VW Pasadena give me that assurance. read more
