    Having owned a Mazda in the past, I was eager to be back in one due to their reliability, comfort, quality interiors. New Century Mazda is new on the block in Alhambra and currently under construction but still open for business. I contacted them regarding a 2025 Mazda 3 HB Carbon edition and I was connected with salesmen Thomas. Friendly, easy going and no pressure sales. If you are serious about buying a Mazda and or are interested in one give them a chance to earn your business. I don't want to butcher names but Thomas manager Milan I believe it was, is good to deal with as well. Milan is professional and straight forward, no sales gimmicks or shadiness. Love my new Mazda and I hope to deal with them again when the time comes for an upgrade. This review is strictly based on the sales office and Mazda from my experience , will update review when the time comes for service on the service department at this location

    This was a local dealer so I didn't have to do much traveling which made the whole experience much more convenient. Very nice interactions with all the people working there. My sales rep, Sean Lillard was great to work with.

    Dealt with a few of the sales people, but ended up buying from Michael. He was consistent in giving me the information I needed and making sure I got what I was looking for in my new CX70. I was shocked that he did NOT push any of the unnecessary add ons, only suggesting the super affordable extended warranty and the GAP since I didn't leave a down payment. They did take a bit long to get the car cleaned up, but they did bring up an issue (I bought a "used car" only had 315 miles) with a system in the car, but made sure I had an appointment with a loaner for the following weekend. As of now, I have ZERO complaints and would 100% recommend going to New Century Mazda!

    If you are looking to buy a Mazda and already have a car in mind, contact Thomas Vong. He's a great sales man, and incredibly professional. Came back a few months later to get a cargo rack, and he's just 100! 10/10 service! Great guy!

    Finally, the car market is stabilizing from the chip shortages in 2021 and 2022. Dealers are able to offer more discounts and it's becoming more of a buyer's market. I decided that the time to buy was now and to stop driving my old Mazda (poor car) as my wife liked to call it lol. I was actually talking to two other Mazda dealers before Tommy from New Century called me to stop by. Originally, I was doubtful if they could provide me a good deal on a new cx-5. However, they were very competitive on the pricing and I ended up buying that same day. Most of their new inventory is in a separate storage lot as they are currently building a brand new facility there. I really appreciated Tommy walking to pick up the car on a hot summer day. They also accepted my 2007 Mazda with 255k miles for a trade in that had some issues. After some negotiation, we finally agreed on a deal and I bought a new 2024 Mazda CX5 Premium! I also got 0% APR financing for 36 months which was nice. If you're looking for a new or new used car, I'd definitely recommend seeing what they could do for you. Tommy was very helpful and professional in answering all my questions and fulfilling my personal requests such as providing a bow for the car since this was an early birthday gift to myself. Thanks to Jorge and Shady also for their assistance in completing the paperwork. I will be back for servicing and can't wait to see the new building once it is built!

    Proud owner here of a new CX30, thanks to Briana, Ali and Jeremy. Between Costco auto, loyalty and their generosity with my trade in, they basically gifted me with this car. I have bought cars from out-of state 4 times previously. I know how this process should go. First things first. An independent dealer friend of mine taught me: if you see a trade-in at a major dealer (Ford, Audi, Mercedes, BMW, etc) and they want to sell it themselves?  THAT car is a creampuff. They only keep the ones that require no work, and can turn around with no issues. The ones that look worn, or have issues, they auction off to smaller independent dealers like his dealership. Only occasionally do they auction off a trade-in that is a winner. In the case of the independent dealers, sometimes you get some good ones at auction. Sometimes you don't. Georgia's, Car Connection's M760i was one of the unfortunate buys. And they gave me a bunch of crap when I told them I was not interested anymore. CJ Auto Group is just such an independent dealer and they have to be more careful when buying cars at auction. In the case of the lovely 12k mile 2018 BMW M760i I bought from them, they had scored a winner! The interior was basically perfect with extremely small wear marks on the iDrive controller and a button here and there. Since the all-Merino-leather interior was an almost-white beige, I was worried, it looks flawless. David was smooth, easy to work with and no-pressure the whole time. He accommodated my request for a walk-around video and then, some additional pictures, a week before I expressed real interest. I had an old friend of a friend inspect it the day before I came, to ensure it did not smell like smoke (always ask your inspector if THEY smoke, or they cannot help you) and how the car looked, generally. He was an old enough guy he had no idea how to take pics and send them over email, but I trusted my source, and CJ allowed him to do his job. Once I drove the 6 hours it took for me to get there, the car was ready, freshly washed and looking fantastic. After all the research I had done, weeks of asking for pictures and follow ups from 3 dealers, I knew I was buying it before I even test-drove it. I just wanted David to explain some of the car's tech to me. I would consider CJ again, if I wanted them to look for something special for me at auction, that I don't have access to. And if it happens to be in stock already, of course I would buy from them again!

But I recently got a new-to-me Honda and wanted to get the CVT fluid changed since I don't know when it was last changed. I called Goudy for a price on this service, and it was quite reasonable. Of course I could probably do it myself for a lot cheaper, but I hadn't had a chance to know my car well enough to take on this job. Since they were a block away from me, I thought I'd give them a try. It was my first time using Goudy and Daniel Tieu was the first service advisor who assisted me. Fortunately I remember reading a positive review about him somewhere on Yelp or Google reviews, so that was reassuring. The service was timely and Daniel said everything checked out okay on their multipoint inspection (brakes, battery, tires, etc.) and didn't try to sell me on any other service. We all know that the car repair industry has a bad reputation for upselling or insisting that something needs to be fixed now or else it's going to catastrophically fail the moment you leave the shop. My experience on my first visit was a positive one. While I might have paid a bit more compared to an indie shop, I know I got genuine Honda parts and their techs are well versed on Honda maintenance and I assume know what they're doing. (I know that's not always the case, as I've heard about bad dealer service experience). I should also note that they have a nice waiting area. Nothing fancy, as in no fancy coffees or pastries. Just a quiet area (at least when I was there) away from the sales floor. I could have walked home, but I decided to stick around and read a book I had with me. It wasn't long when I got a call that my car was ready.
