Took my car here twice so far for different reasons and both times they were able to identify the problem, provide plan of action, parts needed and timeline of work. Their prices are fair and they do honest work. I appreciate that so much! IFYKYK! read more

Amazing service every time! They're responsible, they have insurance and are happy to help when needed. Hasco was recommended to me by a friend and I just think they're just awesome and the Customer Service is amazing. I definitely recommend! read more

My apartment manager recommended I take my Audi to this shop when I asked her what places in the area can service German cars. I was surprised by how quickly the team was able to perform a replacement of a turbo. My car is performing perfectly after the repair! I did mention some other issues that I'd been putting off (unfortunately) and was quoted lower prices than I had elsewhere. I was also surprised that they do TPMS service and could replace a single sensor rather than the entire set. I would highly recommend HUSCO to anyone looking for quality service! read more

Solid Service & Savings...as a couple places wanted to charge me more for the same repair!

Listen up folks!!! This place is legit & fair priced!!! Mario is the owner of this shop now not Paul!!! Unfortuately when Mario took over the business, the name is same for tax purposes! So, these bad reviews are from the previous owner except some guy paying 3k to fix his car & complaing about it ,,, stuff happens ! To women, you will not be able to find a car shop that will treat you 100% fair and worry about being over charged! I challenge anyone to get 3 estimates & Mario will be in the same ballpark or better price! Period! Why? Because I got 4 estimates & realized Mario is crazy fair on prices! Hes the guy u build a relationship & you will not regret! My butt has dealt with mechanics from Chicago to LA! So anyone looking for a place to get car fixed, then get ur butt to Mario's! I say this as a life long conscious consumer & someone who avoids & hates scammers & drama !!!! read more

Mario does an excellent job in car repairs, he lets you know what the issue is with your automobile and he is very reasonable with price and does not upscale unless it's something needed. read more

I brought my car back home from college in Oregon in hopes of finding a local shop. I was having some electrical troubles trying to get my radiator fan to work properly on my 1981 VW rabbit. Luckily, the team at Husco was able to fix the issue within a few hours. I'll be back again! read more

Mario and team are fantastic. My car is now past 150,000 miles and at the point where the parts are nearing their "end of life cycle" and naturally need to be replaced so I can enjoy more years of my car. They are very responsive and accommodating to my requests and always make time to answer my questions and make sure I understand the work to be done. Unlike the dealer, they never try to sell me on unnecessary repairs and will alert me of things that appear to be wearing down that will need to be addressed in future. As a female, I never feel "spoken down to" (as many females understand) and after 8 years+ as a customer, I always experience a professional environment when there. Highly recommend. read more

I won't go anywhere else for my VW! Easy to get an appointment, fair pricing and fast but solid work.

Recommended by a dear family friend. Been going for several years. I service my car, my wife's and sons car as well. Just got my car serviced today ironically. Loyal, honest and quality work. read more

Best German Car Repair shop in the San Gabriel Valley! Listen, I've owned my 2007 MBZ for 8 years and I've tried all the so called "experts" but Mario and his team are very fair priced, explains every aspect and knows their German Cars! I would highly recommend them to any one looking for good work at a competitive price. read more

Took my 2003 Honda in a few months ago bc of an oil leak, took incredibly long to diagnose and the mechanic went through every possible repair costing me more and more money and time. Finally settled on replacing all my seals and timing belt and water pump. Was positive of the repair. A few months later, I take my car to another place to replace my brakes; everything was leaking again, and much worse this time. This mechanic says the parts before were cheap and/ or not replaced in the first place. Save your time & money and check out my other/ current mechanic; this place doesn't employ honest or competent mechanics. read more

Disappointed. I took my car there because it do not pass smog. The work that was done allowed my car to pass, but the additional work suggested 1) did not remedy anything, 2) cost me over $3k, and 3) I had to go back twice for adjustments after the repairs had been done. The additional repairs did not solve any of the issues and I would not recommend this local shop. read more

Mario and his team are the BEST!!! I've had to come here 3 times over the past few months (I didn't pass a smog test, my timing belt flubbed out, and I had a tire bust)...it's more than I'd ever want to visit anyone, but I will never go anywhere else. It's affordable, fair, and I never felt like I was battling with "you need more." Fair estimates, great work, and amazing service. I love Mario and Husco!!! read more

I have had an excellent experience with Paul and his shop. I have an older 5 series BMW that is long out of warranty. He gets fixed what needs to be done, charges very reasonable or cheap prices (compared to dealers) and understands that I don't want a $1,000 or $2,000 bill every time and that I don't need the car perfect. There's a reason I enjoy not having a car payment and I don't need a bill to make the car perfect -- just safe and driveable. They know German cars and that's what they specialize in so I trust them for simple oil changes to more complex work. And they're honest. I've gone here for 3 years and he's been great. When I had an issue recur with the darn emission system (which has always been problematic), he redid the work at no charge. The place gets bonus points for funky mobiles hanging out in front made out of aluminum cans. So if your car is out of warranty, I recommend this place. It's not the shiny clean place like a dealer but it's got character and this is how they keep the costs down. read more

Husco German Auto Service's response to my 1st review is a perfect example of their horrible communication skills & lack of diligence. Their response that they JUST posted today is in response from my review SEVEN MONTHS AGO (I guess they use yelp like they use their phones). Their response they posted today is entirely lies & never happened with the exception of them telling me I had break problems, which happened ONLY after I CALLED THEM & finally got trough to them after THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK FOR 2 WEEKS!!! They either cannot keep their information straight, are incompetent or liars, or all of the above, either way, STAY AWAY FROM Husco German Auto Service!!! In response to their additional response Sept 17th; Maybe if they took sooner then SEVEN MONTHS to respond to a yelp review, they might remember things more accurately or not end up make things up that are completely untrue. Either they have me confused with some other poor victim of their terrible, dishonest business, or they are lying again. Either way, EVERYONE, PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY THOUGH THIS & ALL THE YELP REVIEWS OF THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR A BUSINESS before even thinking of going to them. PLEASE DO YOURSELF (& ANYONE ELSE YOU KNOW BY SHARING THIS) A FAVOR & SAVE YOURSELF FROM BEING A VICTOM IF THEIR DISHONESTY & UNPROFESSIONALISM! DO NOT GO THERE!! read more

The Thai mechanics are very honest here, they won't overcharge you like most other shops will. I've brought my VW here a couple of times and left satisfied with the repair work. They also repair Porsche, Audi and BMW. The correct phone number is 626 799 4176. read more

I must say I have been walking past this place since the early 1989's. Lol. I would have to walk by the place in my way to junior high school. Anyway, long story short, my husband and I moved front he area a long time ago, but we have a used BMW that needed work and we just so happened to be visiting family. So we called Husco. They took us in right away, fixed our car, had a fricken awesome professional attitude, and all I can say is, we will definitely be back whenever we need a car repair. I highly, highly, highly recommend this place. They are awesome, honest, and professional. You can't get much better than that!!! read more

I just started going back to Husco after stopping when a previous owner, Paul, retired. I went back after running into Nick, one of their long-time mechanics, and he told me they had a new owner named Mario who was very good. So I brought in my 2002 BMW 325i. I had been considering selling it because it had a lot of deferred maintenance and wasn't running very smoothly. Mario, Nick and the team got to work on it, and now I have decided to keep it. It really hasn't run this well in many years. The price wasn't cheap because it needed a lot of work, but I think it was well worth it, and I will continue going to Husco. Patrick R. read more

This was my 1st time here. Pro: Paul appears to be the manager there, he's nice, responsive, and easy going. My Mini Cooper was diagnosed quickly and work was completed in 1 day. He also offered me a discount for being a new customer. Con: completed work was not done properly, there was a leak and I had to take the car back for a follow up, which wasted my time. Paul was showed no sympathy nor offered any apologies. Overall, I would be 50/50 coming back here. read more

My great-aunt sold me the Karmann Ghia that I used to drive when I was 16. From the time I switched to a `93 Civic (in 1997, i think), the Ghia had been under a tarpaulin in my grandfather's driveway. So, after 11 years on blocks, I figured it might take a little work to get it going again. When I moved to South Pasadena (and no longer had a garage to store my cars in) i had to register the ghia and once i did that, i figured i should get someone to look at it. went to husco, because it's walking distance from my house. "Paul" who greeted me was certainly friendly, although super-difficult to understand thru his thick southeastasian accent. He agreed to rebuild my carburetor and clean out my fuel tank and lines. He was a little vague about the price. he finished by the next day -- and charged me $460. (kinda expensive, if you ask me, but i was glad to pay it to have my car running again.) a few days later, though, the car wouldn't start, and when i looked, the fuel going thru the filter was totally black. in the fuel system i recently paid $250 to have cleaned. well, AAA sent a twacked-out tow truck driver to get my car, and i thought i'd deposit it on the street outside husco and ask them to take a look at it the next day (it was like 9 at night.) when i got to husco, there were a couple of guys inside drinking tallboys and watchin teevee, and he happily let me put the car in the garage. "what's wrong with it?" i showed him the fuel. "need to clean the fuel system" i explained that i had only just paid them to do precisely that. he said they'd look at it. i didn't go back for another week. went back today, they're like "it's done" -- they fixed the fuel system ("won't break again," they said). they fixed the parking break. they adjusted the valves. the car's never driven this nice. I'm definitely satisfied with the outcome. (so far.) read more

Not really sure how to rate these guys. I live around the corner so when my battery died and I wasn't confident enough to drive it all the way to my (amazing) Burbank mechanic, I dropped it off here. They are nice. And definitely, um, laid-back. Pretty much just smoking, drinking coffee, and reading the paper. And there's always a guy who doesn't work there hanging with the crew. But hey, they replaced my battery. Charged me appropriately. Did it within 2 hours (did I mention they're laid-back?) and got me on my way. It was a completely acceptable experience. I got what I needed and didn't pay too much. read more

My AC wasn't blowing cool air anymore. I took it to two different mechanics who gave me the same estimate of about $750-$850. They both said I need to replace my compressor. My brother in-law suggested I take it to HUSCO before I make any decisions on the other mechanics. Mario informed me my compressor was working great, it was just a minor issue. My AC works beautifully again, and he saved me over $600! They are fast, efficient, and honest! I'm so thankful for his expertise! I will never take my car anywhere else! read more

I have had my 2014 BMW 328 repaired three times at Husco over the past year. Each time, the service was professional with expert repairs. Mario and his staff were personable, honest, and the price of the repairs was significantly less than the dealer but with equal quality. I would recommend Husco. read more

Mario took over this shop not too long ago so the posts that are mentioning Paul or others DO NOT APPLY to present day! That being said I come 18 miles from West Los Angeles to bring cars to Mario. He is fair, knowledge and skilled in his trade. I have known him for over 10 years both personally and professionally. After he left the Westside I TRIED other mechanics and they paled in comparison to Mario. Ladies especially, Mario won't try to gig you or make you feel stupid due to your gender either, he's respectful to all!! read more

They are friendly and very quick. Knew a problem better than mechanic from dealership for my chevy volt. And handled far less expensively.

I went there early in the morning for a quick oil change on my '12 SRT Challenger 392 and Husco got it done very quickly. I was very impressed! I'll be back for more oil changes. He was very respectful and didn't try to up-sell me on unnecessary services. read more

The only mechanics I ever go to! Mario (previously owned a different shop - and recently moved to this shop) always does a great job on my car. I brought in my car because it overheated on the freeway and when I pulled over I saw the serpentine belt was off. Ok, so I figured I need a new serpentine belt, and probably water pump too. I get it towed here, and the owner gave me a quote a couple hours later. He called me yesterday and said they need to do a revision but never told me on what or how much it was going to be. First quote he gave me was $691 which I was fine with paying. But when I picked it up right now he said it's $1100 because they had to change out my radiator and that my radiator was leaking and had no fluid in it. I know 100% that wasn't the case when I brought it in because I had it parked in my driveway overnight and saw no fluids at all. So either they broke my radiator changing my water pump/radiator fan, or the tow driver did but I also didn't see any funds behind my car when it was being towed to this shop. I would never recommend a place that does shady shit like this. Wish I could give 0 stars read more
