My Experience at Rusnak Pasadena As a repeat customer of Rusnak Porsche, I have always been highly impressed by their service department, which is why my recent experience with the pre-owned sales department was so disappointing. I went in to get an estimate to sell my car and met with Allen, the Pre-Owned Car Manager. From the very start, his demeanor was entirely unwelcoming. When I introduced myself and stated why I was there, he asked where the vehicle was located. After I pointed it out, he simply turned around and walked away without a word, leaving me to assume I was supposed to follow him. Once outside, he inspected the vehicle, checked his phone, and verbally gave me a quote--all without a single smile or welcoming gesture. When I asked if that was his best offer, he gave me a laundry list of what the car would need to sell. After I said "thank you," he once again just turned around and walked away in complete silence. I had to stop and think afterward--perhaps he was just having a difficult day or going through something personal, and I always want to extend grace. However, as a manager, shouldn't you lead your team by example and greet customers with basic professionalism and courtesy? It is a stark contrast to the wonderful team in the service department. To top it off, prior to visiting Rusnak, I had already received a quote from Carmax that was 15% higher than what Rusnak offered. I had hoped that my loyalty as a repeat customer would at least warrant a polite conversation, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. read more

This review is for the service department only. I brought in my brand new 2025 911 for two minor issues related to the comfort exit function and the CarPlay connection. The car stayed in the shop for two days without any communication from the service advisor. On the third day, I was told that this was simply "how Porsche is" and that there was no solution for either problem. I then took the car to Porsche Downtown LA, where they quickly reprogrammed and recalibrated the system. Both issues were fixed within 24 hours. I'm very disappointed with the attitude and professionalism of the service advisor and technicians at Rusnak Pasadena Porsche. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Porsche Downtown LA for service instead. read more

Let me tell you what it's like driving a Porsche, you'll see every roadblock, tree, parked car, cliff, and just think how great it would be to ram your car into it and destroy it. Who should drive a Porsche or even consider this dealership? Someone who has the tiniest weiner and is on their last attempt to fulfill a void in their life as a final and desperate cry for attention. These cars have the technology and quality of a 2004 Kia. Absolutely everything in their vehicles was designed by an engineer who was missing several chromosomes, and then assembled by a group of blind individuals. Their 911 has the performance of a stock 340i at best, with a used Lambo price tag. Do you want to know why it's called a 911? It's because they knew at some point their customer would become suicidal or go into a tree for realizing the mistake they made, and they wanted a fast way for them to realize who to call for help. You pay for "luxury" and get cheap plastic, and when it breaks down, which trust me it will break down, very often (perfect lemon car), they will leave you stranded with no loaner and tell you the next one is available in 1-2 months. Their excuse was their cars are too expensive to have loaners, which is weird because in 2 years most of their cars lose about 75% of their value. You'd think there's plenty of used Porsches on that lot that after a few years now are worth less than a pack of Doritos and Marlboro Reds. I've sat in a 20 year old Corolla that had the same old cheap leather smell that my current 2 year old Porsche has. Just close this yelp, close the app, go on Google Maps, navigate to the nearest BMW dealership, and don't even think twice about it. I pray to god each day that this vehicle spontaneously catches on fire or someone steals it. read more

I bought a 2024 Cayenne Coupe at this dealer. Multiple warning lights (Auto Start Stop Failure, Engine Light, Engine Control Error, Adaptive Cruise Control) appeared like Christmas tree. I brought it back to dealership for repair and problem persisted. Within a 2 months period, I was back at the dealership 5 five times and the car stayed at the dealership for more than 30 days. Each time, different fault code and problems were discovered. The dealership changed battery, sparkplugs and I was asked to pay over $1700 for those repairs. Even after replacing those parts, the problems still came back. It seems the service department is unable to repair the vehicle, but don't want to admit it. They are just keep replacing parts and ask me to pay for their trying. Now, I suspect they are just turn off the warning lights when my car is at the dealership and return it to me, pretending they have fixed the problem. I filed a lemon car claim with Porsche but don't want to take responsibility for the lemon car. If you ever consider buying Porsche, reconsider it because there are no after sales services from them. If I can, I will not give one (1) star......I will give (-5) stars. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at Rusnak Porsche Pasadena and would not recommend this dealership. My mother and I were there from about 1 PM to 5 PM, and from the beginning, we were very clear about what we wanted: a 2022 Porsche Macan with a white exterior and red interior. Instead of listening to our request, the sales consultant, Freddrick Baker, kept trying to upsell us into something else entirely. Things got even worse when they ran my credit multiple times without clear communication--resulting in three separate inquiries. Then the pre-owned manager, Allen Khatchick, came out and suddenly tried to bring us back to the exact Macan we originally asked for. He told us he would run the credit again specifically for that vehicle, but that never even happened. I've since checked my credit and can clearly see what was (and wasn't) done. The numbers also made no sense. Initially, I was planning to put $6,000 down on a lease, which was already discussed. Out of nowhere, they told us we would need to put $16,000 down on a $40,000 car. It felt like they were just trying to get us out the door at that point rather than actually work with us. To make matters worse, when my daughter went back to grab her water from the table, she overheard Freddrick Baker gossiping with another employee, making assumptions about my credit in a very disrespectful way. That was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Overall, the entire experience felt disorganized, misleading, and disrespectful. I would strongly caution others before coming here. We will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

Back in late June I had an hour of freedom to myself on a random morning so I decided to test drive a Porsche for shi*s and giggles and in preparation just in case I happen to stumble upon an insurmountable amount of f* you money in the future (which I highly highly doubt will happen but a girl can use her wide imagination.) Initially I accidentally walked into the Rolls Royce store next door and asked the lady in the front I'm here to test drive a Porsche. I made the noob mistake of pronouncing it "Pour-sh" and she loudly corrected me by saying "YOU MEAN POR-SHUH??" Um.... Ok lady. Calm down. Anyway so she proceeded to call next door to have someone come and help me. I had the pleasure of meeting and getting helped by Mathew and he was very nice, pleasant to speak to, and provided an opportunity to test drive two different models. Boxster and Cayenne. I was very honest and up front with Mathew and told him I'm just here to test drive for fun and he was still very nice about the entire experience. Now onto how I feel about the cars. I think I put the Boxster on too high of a pedestal because I was very disappointed in how the car felt for my body type. I didn't realize how low and close to the ground the car was. As a girl who is 5' 10" I feel like I had to bend and stoop down super low to get into the vehicle. Also the steering wheel just felt too stiff for my liking. Of course the exterior is oh so sexy but I feel like this car is very similar to a very attractive looking man as in... yes it's easy and nice on your eyes but at the end of the day he ends up being super high maintenance for you to want to drive around regularly. I recently took my Audi Q4 e‑tron in for the 20,000‑mile service. When I dropped off the car, the service adviser, Henry Perez, told me the maintenance would cost $776.10. I was shocked -- it's an EV, and he explained the high cost by saying they "had to replace the cabin." I didn't argue at the moment. But when I reviewed the invoice, I saw they only replaced the cabin filter, which costs about $50. Nothing else. No major service, no EV‑specific maintenance -- just a filter. I filed a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair, but Audi provided paperwork showing I had "agreed" to the cost, so BAR said there was nothing they could do. So I'm posting this as a warning: This dealership's service department behaves like sharks. If you experience unreasonable charges or treatment, take your business somewhere else. read more

In May 2024 I purchased my 3 Porshe, turning my totaled Macan S into A 2021 cayenne hybrid! Car had 32k miles on it and as I travel the world much I put low miles on it. The contract office talked me into purchasing the $4k big 40,000 & smaller 50,000 mile service. Fine. I got talked into it. I paid 8.25% interest over the 2 year loan as well. Forward less then 2 years forward, a few recalls on the vehicle had to be fixed and with 39,820 mls I made an appointment for the service. It took about a month to get an appointment. When I dropped off the car the service manager brings to my attention that my $4k 40,000 mls service contract was expired and there is not much they could help me with. I feel terribly cheated out $4k by the Rusnak dealership in pasadena and will never purchase a Porsche again sadly. They offered to do the 10k service at the 40k mileage as they now claimed that would expire in 3 months... I was supposed to drive the car 18k miles in less then 2 years to be eligible for the $4k service pan they talked me into buying without ever showing or mentioning expiration? Where do I take this? Just like our current administration, anything goes to make a buck on costumers expense. It this really worth it for them? I thought these were only practices you would experience on a 2nd hand lot in the desert... . Truly disappointed. read more

**** Downtown LA Porsche has fixed my car including the additional damage Rusnak did to the inside of my brand new car (my back seats) when they "fixed" it. The dealership never called me when the advisor said they would to explain how they caused further damage. It's worth noting their own employees told me they have caused damage like mine to other cars. When I mentioned the kind of damage the employee said "oh do you have the GT3?" To which I said no and asked how often it happens ... they said "often". Run, down walk to another dealership. I highly recommend going to Downtown LA, they're excellent. I've worked with them for over 10 years and have never had any of the issues I experienced with Rusnak. They also don't make you wait for service appointments or take your car to 3rd party autobody shops that are 10 miles away from the dealership. **** as an update the newly installed bumper is coming apart so it took it to my normal dealership. The service department notified me that Rusnak improperly installed the bumper and broke it. I now have to order another new bumper for the car. I purchased a brand new Cayenne from them that, when I went to pick it up, was damaged. After a very frustrating two hours they finally agreed to fix the damages they caused. It took over a month to get a service appointment and when I got my car back there was new damage to another part of my car which the service technician wouldn't explain. During my service visit another staff member mentioned to me other purchasers had similar experiences to me which shocked me. I've purchased cars from two other Porsche dealerships and serviced my cars with three other Porsche dealerships. I've never had such a truly unprofessional, off-brand experience. The dealership makes you realize where the bad reputation and stereotypes of auto sales people and dealerships come from. It's a true deviation from the Porsche brand's commitment to excellence behind the steering wheel and customer experience, it's been a truly disappointing experience. My experiences have left me with such a lack of confidence, and with more to fix, that I'll be taking my new (2025) car to my regular service dealership to be checked out. read more

Porter Nacho is amazing. I was low on charge, far from home, and not near a fast charger. Nacho enthusiastically offered and helped me to charge my Taycan in their charging station which I had purchased from the dealership not to long ago. Furthermore he showed me to their lounge and offered me a coffee while I waited. This opportunity led me to discover the new Electric Macan which I didn't know very much about until then. Review for Service Department: Wow!! If you need your vehicle serviced AVOID this location! They need 7 hours for an Oil change and "inspection" for a vehicle, even if you make an appointment. As a service advisor myself, I find this extremely unnecessary and counter productive. Unless their techs are incompetent, an oiled change should not take more than 2 hours (including a vehicle inspection). This shows disorganization in the shop, a shop not capable of providing great customer service, and unreliability. Then I was told, if you're a walk-in, it's only a 2 hour wait versus scheduling a time ahead of schedule. Please make it make sense. Service department gets an "F" read more

I recently took my car in for a punctured tire and let me tell you, service was impeccable! Firstly, when i called in to schedule an appointment, they assured and acknowledged my situation was urgent and directed me to their towing service. I received a complimentary ride there and back, and while waiting to get the bill, there was coffee and snacks at my disposal. It felt like i only waited 5 minutes until i was helped by a service consultant. Unlike other companies, they were straightforward and provided me with an exact time to pick up my car and it was a great turnaround time as well. Then for the services of towing, Rusnak sent text messages to assure my designated towing truck was on its way, giving me live updates, and overall making sure I was being helped in every way! It had been 7 years since I had gotten a new car and I was on the hunt for a Certified Porsche Macan. I was very specific on the options I wanted and searched the country for one. Amazingly enough, my local Porsche dealer had a near exact combo that I was looking for. We inquired on the car and was told that it was going through the Certification process. Some dealers will allow cars with "acceptable" brake pad/tire/rotor measurements pass, but Allen the Pre Owned Director is not that type of person. He had all the important wear and tear items replaced. He did all the services. And showed me all the paperwork to boot. It feels wonderful knowing I won't have a surprising $3k bill rear its ugly head. Once I felt confident with the car, Allen also gave me a strong offer on my trade in. I then dealt with David and Match in Sales. They gave me wonderful service and the paperwork was a breeze. Fred, the Sales Manager, was also extremely kind and helpful in securing the car for me - while I came to look at the car, 3 other people were looking at this exact car! I also can't forget Alex in Finance who made signing papers really stress-free. Usually, the finance office is stressful because you just spent some time finding the car, agreeing on a price, and agreeing on a deal, just to have someone offer you more things to buy! Overall, I had a memorable experience with RUSNAK PORSCHE. Fred, Allen, Match, David and Alex were so helpful, kind, timely and patient with me. I got the best treatment and found my dream spec Macan! I will always remember them and always go back. When I took delivery of my car, Greg, the service manager, gave me a Porsche souvenir! I was never this insulted by a car salesperson. The salesperson Match Wong was the only reason I'm gonna buy my Porsche elsewhere. Had really good experience with Rusnak before (bought a BMW in their thousand oaks location). Wife really wanted a Cayenne and we are very impulsive people so we headed our way to buy one. Upon entering the dealership, we were greeted by Match. Never asked what we wanted and we had to lead the whole conversation. When we asked what's the options are with different cayennes, he simply rolled his eyes and said "they are all the same". He was so distant and didn't want our business.
