My husband brought his car to his honest mechanic because his engine light was on. His mechanic stated that there was a problem with the struts and to have the Volkwagen dealership check regarding why the engine service light is on. When my husband brought the car to this dealership's service department, they questioned whether or not he was hearing the problems that the mechanic heard. My husband told him what the mechanic said. The service representative was basically questioning my husband as to why he was bringing in the car when my husband wasn't hearing the problems that the mechanic heard. Our honest mechanic was correct. There was a definite problem, and this Volkwagen service department had to keep the car for a couple of days because they had to order the parts that were needed. To make a long story short, the engine service light went on intermittently on the same day in which it was supposedly repaired. My husband contacted their service department. He was told that the engine light must be on in order for them to see what is wrong with the car. How do you book an appointment when they need to see the engine service light on? What part of the light is on intermittently did they not understand? If anything happens to the car or someone while driving the Volkswagen Tiguan, it will be due to Volkswagen's negligence. My husband even contacted their corporate office regarding this problem. I would not recommend purchasing a Volkswagen Tiguan if their own service department is incapable of repairing their own vehicles. read more

I scheduled an appointment for a service repair last night and dropped off my car this morning at 730am. I was able to leave my keys with a service technician and then rushed to work - Happy I didnt have to stay for the whole process. I picked up my car this evening around 520pm and there was a huge line wrapped around the dealership. I thought it was for a sales event or something. Jesus brought my car around to the back and I asked him what the event was. He shared that Fluffy was signing autographs and doing a meet and greet as he has the Volkswagen Bus there. I was thrilled to know that one of my favorite comedians Fluffy was there so I had to wait in line. Jesus offered to drop me off in one of the Volkswagen parking lots and then later he could find me in the line and help me move my car. That was incredibly generous of him to do so. Jesus found me in line about an hour or so into waiting, and he moved my car from the lot to the front entrance of the dealership. I am so grateful for his generosity and also for sharing with me about the event! Thank you Jesus for going above and beyond for me! I appreciate that very much so! I am also happy with the service team in sending updates regarding my vehicle and having my car ready and washed and waxed by the end of the day. Best service yet! They are good! They provide excellent customer service and always go above and beyond to make lifelong VW car owners like myself feel comfortable and at ease when buying and owning their brand. Unlike other companies, there are no hidden fees or costs, and they will never try to upsell you. My most recent car was purchased with them and the process was as smooth as butter! In the case of uncertainty and problems, they would gladly give me time to resolve them. Having been to some dealerships, I can tell you it is rare to come across a dealership of this caliber. As much as I enjoy cruising and launching my VW GTI, I enjoy having it in my driveway. The Pasadena dealership is wonderful, and Volkswagen is a marvel of German engineering. I had my car stolen and have been struggling with my auto insurance company to get it totaled so I could buy a new car. I have been through the ringer with insurance, rental car companies and then car dealerships playing the game that they play. Were in in Huntington Beach and were told a number over the phone. When we got there my husband told them that Pasadena was going to give us a fair price and they said that Pasadena was lying, trying to call our bluff. We left HB, drove 1.5 hrs to Pasadena and Alex helped us with the deal we wanted with none of the car sales tactics that we are all use to. No finger guns here! The sales person and financial manager used misleading claims in order to procure the sale of my car. I brought this to the general manager of the store, Scott, and instead of being cordial, he called me a liar to my face without verifying or double checking any information. I am many things, but a liar is not one. I take this extremely personally. I have good reason to believe they use other illegal sales tactics as well, but have no proof of that. A HUGE HUGE THANK YOU to service manager Martin Ramirez and his friendly team over at VW Pasadena! I initially went to VW Santa Monica for a standard oil change and was told that a recall was pulling up for my car and the airbag needed to be replaced. I had to drop off my car and after 48 hours I picked up my vehicle and immediately noticed the airbag was installed improperly to the point where you can visibly see the airbag coming out of the steering wheel(images attached). VW Santa Monica not only did not fix their mistake but refused to take any responsibility AND they also failed to tell me that my front breaks along with the coolant tank needed to be replaced. The only reason why I know this is because the technician (Paul) at Pasadena actually took the time to examine my car and notified me of what needs to be fixed. The whole point of this review is to just give praise to Volkswagen Pasadena for the excellent service that they provided me and I really have to thank you again Martin for turning this horrific incident that I experienced into a resolution! I just leased a brand new VW Jetta yesterday (7/7/23) and I'm very happy. I dropped off my expired leased Jetta 2019 and picked up this absolutely beautiful and more comfortable baby, and it was the last one too. It really looks like a special edition Jetta.
