I took my recently purchased Model X to Alhambra Tesla. This is actually my second time visiting this service center. The first time was for the 12v battery replacement. I don't have an appointment. But The service advisor Jessica feared that I might get stranded in the middle of driving . So she took me in and have it done in less than hour. That was my first encounter with Alhambra Tesla. 5 stars. Last week after I took my wife to airport the next day the car doesn't recognizing my key fob. I can't even get in the car. So I checked the nearest appointment is like a week out. So I took it to an independent Tesla service company in san gabriel looking for a quick resolution. But after few days they can't figure out anything, just "guessing" for the remedies. So i took the car back and I called Alhambra Tesla for help. The service reception Juan advised that I could take it in for a quick diagnosis but he can not promise if that can be resolved right away. So I did take it in and the service advisor Jennifer took me in. She is probably the best service advisor I have ever met (in my 35 years automotive industry) She listen to all the issues and give affirmative advice (order a new key fob and program) while I wait. Later when the key isn't the only problem, she did not hesitate and got me a loaner car so I didn't have to walk home on Friday evening . I understand this isn't an easy task, over the weekend they even have the lead technician out checking out my car. (Firmware issue) And I was only charged for the new key fob and an hour of diagnosis (I know they spend much more time than that) The service advisor Jennifer understands and cares about customer's concerns and willing to go extra mile and beyond to get things done properly. The enthusiasm of Jennifer's service team is incredible. Another 5 stars!! read more

I just got my Tesla in November and have been making the trek to West Covina for my service needs because I honestly had no awareness of the Alhambra Tesla location. I scheduled a mobile service (tire rotation) but the Alhambra location called me and booked me at their location for an even more ideal time. Alex was my tech and not only did they rotate my tires and make sure my Tesla is in tip-top shape, they also were so kind to install my front license plate frame. Nelson was my service advisor and made sure that all my needs were addressed in an incredibly timely manner. I am so glad to be able to take my car here! read more

We came here for service and my hubby was satisfied with the correction. There was a little dent when we got our new car. They also corrected some noises in the cabin when the car was driving at high speeds. They didn't have a loaner car, but they did give taxi/Uber credit for the days the car was in the shop. Our tire pressure was low and we failed to do it at home, so we came here to see if they could help us. We drove up and let them know what we needed help with, and immediately they took out their machine and fixed the tire pressure in all four tires in under 5 minutes free of charge. Go to Tesla service in a Burbank, CA, much more professional and quoted me a proper price. I took my Tesla model 3 into Alhambra since it started to squeak in the front right tire (which is a common defect). The Alhambra dealership knew what the issue was (faulty control arm), but they were adamant on charging me a diagnostic fee and to first check the issue. They also gave me an estimate of $2K+ for replacing the control arms on one tire, which is ridiculous. I called the Tesla in Burbank, and they immediately knew what to repair, and quoted me $450 for labor + service. Long story short: Tesla Service center in Alhambra is an absolute scam. read more

This is a long review but it's done with the purpose of helping others avoid the nonsense I went through when visiting this Tesla service center. On June 2nd I took my 2023 Model Y in to Tesla Alhambra for a loose dome light cover and a popping speaker. It was ready the next day. When I went to pick it up I noticed the tech left the liner around the dome light cover frayed and dirty with finger prints. I let Serena know what happened and she told me that it would be replaced but it would take 3 weeks to arrive. She scheduled a follow up service for end of June 27th. After leaving I also noticed the popping sound was still occurring. I added this concern to my appt scheduled for end of June. I received an email from Nelson Paniagua on June 5th regarding my negative experience and how he wanted to gather more info. regarding my experience. I replied back and told him I appreciated him reaching out to me and asked what time and day would work best for him, I never heard back from him again. I returned June 27th to have the liner and speaker fixed. They assured me they would make things right. I went back on June 29th to pick up my vehicle at their off-site service lot. I inspected everything and didn't see any issues. I began moving my stuff from the rental car back to my personal car and noticed a small mark on the front windshield. Upon further inspection I realized the tech had sliced my front wind shield tint when replacing the front liner for the dome light. I drove back to the service center and advised Serena that they damaged my tint. She spoke to Nelson and then I told him that I took photos before I dropped my car off and that the damage was not there prior to them working on it. He said they would reimburse me for the damaged tint. I then had to drive to Pasadena and get a quote and send it to Serena and Nelson so I can get reimbursed for the damage they caused. The tint will need to be removed and reapplied ($400.00). Twice they have left my car damaged/dirty hoping I wouldn't notice. It's unbelievable to me that someone would work on a car, leave it in this condition and think that it's ok to return it to the customer this way. As of today, July 13th, I am still waiting for a reimbursement check so the tint can be fixed. When this is getting done, it will leave me without a car for a day. Also, the loaner I was given on June 27th was absolutely disgusting. Once I got home and realized how filthy it was I wiped everything down with Clorox wipes. It was sticky, stains on the dash, empty soda can left in the door and the windows were filthy. I will NEVER refer anyone to the Alhambra service center or take my vehicle back to this location. So if you enjoy taking your new vehicle in for service and having it returned dirty or damaged, Tesla Alhambra is for you. P.S. - The popping noise in the speaker is still there, even though they claim to have fixed it. read more

While getting service on a malfunctioning passenger door, my Model X was STOLEN off their Service Lot on 8/31/22 around 915am in the morning (DURING WORKING HOURS!) The car had no broken windows and the perpetrator had the key. It is most likely that workers left the key in the car without locking the car and the perpetrator easily drove off without anyone noticing. The service center didn't realize it was missing until my husband went to pick up the car at 4pm. At which time, they were still saying, "oh it must be here." We had to check our app to find the location of the car and drive to it ourselves to realize that it was actually stolen! (license plate removed, items stolen, trash in car, etc.) We had to go back to the dealership to let them know it was stolen and demand one of the managers come with us to the police station to make the police report. We then had to recover our car ourselves with the help of the police. It is almost 2 weeks later now and I have yet to hear back from anyone or any department regarding an explanation of what happened or an admittance of fault. To top it all off, my passenger side door was not fixed correctly and the TESLA Mobile Service had to come out and repair it a few days after we recovered the car. They saying it's last loaner car at 10:00am. I don't have time to go charging the loaner car. Don't they supposed to charge their loan car and be ready for the customer?!? And it doesn't make sense. DO NOT BOOK A WEEKEND APPOINTMENT. They have very limited staff on the weekends and the most likely won't look at your car until Monday. They want you do everything through the app which is frustrating because you CANNOT talk to a human. If you walk in to the location to try and talk to service they all seem confused and are awkward. They didn't tell us the car was ready for pickup in the app or via call and we already lost the car for 3 days for a window adjustment. We went to the facility to find out the car was done and they told us to go to the lot across the street to get our car. Its a sea of telsas so we couldnt find our car. We had to pop the trunk on the app to finally locate it. The don't wash your car or charge your car like other luxury car dealers. For the price point on the car, the customer service is awful. read more

There are not enough words to describe how pleased I am with this location. I lost my key fob to my Tesla (yes, it's an older model) and it was the only one I had! I went to the Torrance location, no help, I got sent to Burbank because they were supposed to be the biggest and baddest...no help. I went to Signal Hill...they told me they couldn't pair the key and had no idea why...really? Well I needed my key and luckily got connected with Jacky and Joanna at this Alhambra location. From the second we spoke I could immediately tell the difference in customer service and willingness to diagnose the issue. They were transparent and communicated along EVERY step of the way. They were able to diagnose the issue and FINALLY got a key paired for me. Literally after a week of visiting different locations, they got this work done in a day!! Not only that but the communication, the follow up, the reassurance of "don't worry sir, we will get you your key programmed and back on the road"...I finally felt like the purchase of my Tesla was paying off. I was finally getting the service that should with a car like this. If you have a Tesla and are in So Cal, please make the drive to this location and get the service that you need! This will be my location going forward from now on no matter what. I am actually looking into getting a new one and I'll be sure to make sure I go here first!! I knew that Tesla service isn't great, but this Alhambra branch kicked it down another level. My model Y makes loud noise when engaging and disengaging E break. The service advisor acknowledged the problem and took my car in. That somehow was not communicated with the service technician, who thought the noise was from breaking. The technician test drove the car and determined that everything is normal. When I came to pick up the car, another service advisor told me that my car was parked in the overflow parking lot across the street and I had to walk across 4 lane traffic to get to my car. Tesla does not allow pickup of your new car. My model Y was delivered to me, the delivery person took my money, had me sign a few docs, and left. I was told I can report any issues with the car and Tesla will take care of them. My car had malfunctioned HVAC blower motor. And second row seat that was not able to activate and slide up so we can enter the 3rd row. One door has a window rattle that they want to argue with me is normal. Normal on one door??? Ok I'm not stupid to think tesla designs the car to have a rattle on one door!!!! Also, many paint defects. I brought it into the service center in Alhambra. The technician(s) cause so many interior and exterior damages on my brand new car. Tesla service center will tell you they do a QC check, but don't trust them. The way they damaged my car, imagine how much care they will put into servicing your car? For me, the dash had to be removed to change the blower motor. I am so mad and frustrated at all the damages that happen to my car that I don't even want to get into it here, but hey, everyone wants a Tesla right? Customer service complaints are all over the internet. Nobody cares about you. I saw the review about the car being stolen below, they leave your car unlocked. When I noticed my car was out of service mode, I manually locked it from my app. read more

Review is for the service team. Absolutely terrible experience overall. I have many things to say, but I will try to condense my thoughts as best I can. Initial damage occurred on my 2022 Tesla Model 3 on September 9, 2022. There was a smaller crack (3-5") on the front windshield at the time. I spoke to insurance and scheduled an appointment with Tesla immediately and was slotted in for 3:45pm today at this Alhambra location... A long wait time for a repair, but I was used to it as I had to have the back glass replaced earlier this year and it took around 2 weeks to get an appointment. Inconvenient, but whatever. I blocked out time on my schedule well in advance to take care of this appointment. The crack got worse and worse and almost expanded to the other edge of the windshield, and I was relieved that my service appointment was coming up soon. Today (the day of the appointment) I made sure to leave early and struggle through the traffic to get to the appointment on time. I left an hour early and encountered a lot of traffic, which certainly didn't help my mood. But I was glad to bear through it if it would mean that the hazard of my front windshield would be dealt with. In true Tesla fashion, of course the service center was disorganized. It took about five minutes for someone to come help me once I had pulled up to the service line. In these five minutes, several employees made eye contact with me but none made an effort to help me. Rude but whatever. I can wait. Then when a woman came out to help me, she informed me that even with my appointment they couldn't service my vehicle today. I will outline her excuses below. First excuse: 'The glass people have left for the day, so I cannot service you today but you can come back tomorrow morning and drop off your vehicle.' Wow. I didn't know Tesla didn't do in house repairs for their own cars. I asked her if (due to my busy schedule) I would be able to leave the car overnight for them to service in the morning. She went in to check with a manager. Then came the second excuse. 'Oh actually, you can't leave the car here overnight because our lot is completely full and we can't even give up one space'. Ok fine. I can understand the logic behind that. I ask her when is the next available time to bring in the vehicle for service. She has to go in and check with a manager yet again. Third excuse: 'Oh actually, our glass people only come in on Wednesdays. You would have to reschedule for a Wednesday before 10am because they don't work on cars that are dropped off after that and they leave at 2pm.' At this point, I am seething. Why would they review my appointment, send me an estimate to approve, and even LET ME drive all the way over there and not tell me this information before booking me (or even not allow me to book a time that wouldn't work for their glass contractors???)? I ended up having her schedule me for October 5th (which I had to almost force her to do btw) and I am very unhappy with that. This car is my only vehicle. I drive 130 miles a day for work. I have a very busy schedule. This is going to require me to take time off yet again for a repair that they could just keep pushing back. Also, I was not able to ask her to speak to someone else (aka a manager who would be able to help me more, ik, Karen jokes incoming) and she seemed to rush me out of the parking lot. Very unprofessional service and I am very displeased with my experience. Sometime between all of this, Elon Musk tweeted that Tesla would now be charging $100 for cancellations or modifications to appointments within 24 hours of the scheduled time. So, I would be penalized if I moved my appointment date ten minutes after the scheduled time. Yet Tesla and their service centers can move it same day, when you're already in the parking lot, even though it is their own scheduling mistake with NO recourse for you. Be advised that Tesla does not care about its customers and only cares to sell more cars. DO NO BUY A CAR FROM THEM! It will be IMPOSSIBLE to get serviced. P.S: Never had the car serviced. App showed car in service until they pushed me out another 2 weeks for an appointment. Also, you can clearly see that I set the appointment on or before the 10th... which gives them WELL OVER ONE WEEK to review and see if they could service me at that time and date.... No excuses for terrible service. read more

I used the Tesla app to purchase an upgrade to my Model 3 Standard Range battery. The payment was processed and I was contacted via text message by Daniel, a customer service rep at the Alhambra service center. After numerous text messages over the course of five days - nothing! No battery upgrade! No refund! I went to the Buena Park showroom/service center, talked with Andrew, and was assured that everything would be taken care of, and lo and behold - nothing! No response to emails, text messages - nothing! I like the car, but don't think that I'll buy another Tesla, at least based on the quality of their customer service. read more
